We've been here a few times, but our last visit was rough. We asked how long the wait was and were told 15 minutes. The hostess added us to the list and said they would send a text once our table was ready. She even read our phone number back to us. We waited outside and 30 minutes went by before we went back inside to see how much longer. Yea, they somehow didn't actually add us to the list. There were plenty of tables available by then and they gave us a table immediately. We placed our order and after receiving everything except the penne alla vodka and waiting almost 20 minutes after we'd gotten everything, I asked where our pasta was. Our waiter said it should've come out long ago and he would check. Somewhere along the line, it was forgotten. Either it was never put in or the kitchen staff lost it. It ended up being on a completely separate bill because they had to put it in again. By this point, we were over this dinner experience. An extra hour had been added on due to no fault of our own. So why am I giving it 4 stars? Because the manager made it right. Patrick, the manager, came over to our table to talk to us. We politely explained how this evening was a failure across multiple points and he was very apologetic and comped our entire $50 meal. I wasn't expecting that as I had already given our waiter my credit card and he already ran it. We weren't looking for a free meal, we just wanted to give him honest feedback about how things went wrong. Because he took the time to chat with us, I wouldn't hesitate to return. This experience had never happened before there so I'll give them the benefit of the doubt and say it was just a rough night for folks. While the bruschetta tomatoes were great, the bread they sat on had the same trait as the table bread. Finally, my eggplant was more mozzarella and tomato sauce then eggplant. 1/2 Star. The hubs and I came on Saturday evening for a date night. I recommend getting a reservation (super easy online) because it was very busy but we got seated quickly. Our server was really friendly and explained the concept and menu. We decided to share a lot of the items as it's designed to do so if you choose to. I love that you can order just a few things off the charcuterie menu instead of getting a whole board. We started with cocktails and the bread with olive oil. We then tried a few charcuterie items (the duck prosciutto was to die for), the veal meatballs, the meatball slider, and finished with the Coppa Alla Banana. One of my favorite pizza restaurants near me with the best happy hour! I also recommend to join their wine subscription because not only is the price good and you can opt to skip certain months but you get to drink it there at the restaurant too. If you were wanting to buy wine for your table anyways, its cheaper and a more fun experience to try different wines through joining! The pizza is very good and my favorites are the mushroom fungi pizza, and the san Danielle ( but sub the tomato sauce to the white sauce used in the fungi pizza- the tomato sauce is fine but its a light tomato base rather than a thick marinaria one and sometimes it makes the pizza a little too wet) . The employees are always so accommodating and friendly and I always have a good time. Its the perfect date spot, the family dinner, birthday, etc. They event have event rooms of all sizes that you can reserve and do their food packages! The place was absolutely packed and the tables were very close together so volume affected the vibes a little bit but not enough to make the experience bad. We had a reservation for 10 people at 8:30 on a Saturday night to celebrate my friend's birthday. I joined my friends just a few minutes after the reservation time, no later than 8:35, and we had not seen the server for 20 minutes since we sat down. The girls said he dropped off bread when they sat down, said he'd be right with them, but had yet to come back. I got up to speak with a manager, and of course once the server saw me heading to the host stand is when he decided to go to our table. We ordered drinks and he informed us that the bartender was backed up with drinks and they would take some time. At first I appreciated the communication, except by backed up he meant they would take 50 minutes, come out a few drinks at a time, and some drinks would be forgotten. Some of the girls ordered sodas when they first sat down and didn't get them until an hour later. At the restaurant we work at, when we say drinks might take a minute, we mean 20 minutes max and even that's unacceptable, 50 minutes is just ridiculous. We also ordered food when we ordered that first round of drinks, some of the girls ordered their entrees immediately because everything was taking forever, and some of us ordered appetizers and salads, expecting him to come back so we could order more and he never did. The server NEVER came to the table to see how we were doing, never asked how everything was tasting, never pre-bussed the table, nothing. At this point we've got girls ready to pay and leave, we need to-go boxes, half of us never even ordered dinner because he never came back to the table. I got up AGAIN to grab a manager, this time I spoke with Adrian, and after I told him about our experience and everything we needed, he asked me, "what would you like me to do for you in this moment?". I just told you all of these unacceptable things and as a manager, YOU should know what to do and how to fix it, I shouldn't have to tell you how to do your job or how to fix the situation, coming from a server AND a manager by the way. Adrian did end up bringing us the drinks we were missing from our first and only order through the server, he brought some boxes, and pre-bussed the table (the server never did), but still I'm looking around and NO ONE is moving with a sense of urgency in this place. Not just our server, but every single server on the floor, every manager on duty, like no one has a care in the world. Also, I saw a THIRD manager on duty and I just thought how could any of them allow this unacceptable service to be happening, and we weren't the only table receiving slow and poor service. It honestly looked like majority of the tables around us were displeased with this place. For the price of this place, I would not recommend a singular person to come here. It was just awful and honestly the worst experience I've ever had dining at a restaurant. And I feel even worse for the birthday girl because she felt like it was her fault for bringing us here and having to experience this.
