My favorite Hermès location and I have the most wonderful SA! I always make a point to see him whenever I'm in Hawaii and he has helped me with lots of purchases. I love how big and bright this store is. I've been to the Ala Moana location but that one is a bit darker. My SA Elvin has always been friendly and treated my partner and I nicely. I wish I could say my experience was good here but I was left feeling pretty awful. I've purchased from several other Hermes locations and have had great experiences. I don't dress poorly. I am always polite. I saw they didn't close until 9pm. Came here around 7:40PM. I was waved to come in. Then I was ignored...everyone was on their phone. I had to ask for help and then was passed to another rep....who seemed like he didn't want to help me. It made me feel like why did they want me to come in the first place if they were going to treat me like this? Was it because of my ethnicity? Because I'm a dark skinned Asian? I thought-couldn't be....but when I saw other people come in after me that were the opposite....they were greeted right away, everyone rushed to help them....so yes, I do feel I experienced racism. The rep I was with was on his phone the entire time too. It took me 5 minutes for my purchase and the experience was not great at all. Im pretty disappointed in the customer service. read more

This is a lovely store at the Royal Hawaiian shopping center. Derrick is my SA and he is absolutely wonderful! He will find me what I want. We are always treated wonderfully when we shop here. We are given sparkling water and taken to a private area so me and my girlfriends can shop! Parking is validated. The store has multiple floors, clean bathrooms, and wonderful displays. You can sample a fragrance in their restroom. If you go here ask for Derrick you won't be disappointed! read more

The Waikiki location is officially my favorite Hermes store. The SAs are extremely friendly and helpful, which has been a stark contrast to what one typically experiences at Hermes. I feel like usually the SAs just follow you around silently and don't really offer to help unless you make the first move. This is the first Hermes I've been to where not just one, but multiple SAs offered to assist me before I had to approach anyone. My SA was a dream and I felt nothing but positive vibes from her. She made my experience at Hermes and I would happily fly from the Bay to Hawaii just to have her assist me with any of my Hermes needs. The only thing I don't love about these high end stores is asking clients if they want to pay 15 cents for a bag. I get that it's a state regulation and I'm all for being eco-friendly, but let's be real. We know these luxury brands can afford 15 cents for customers spending hundreds if not thousands of dollars. It honestly just cheapens the experience a bit. Part of the fun is in the packaging! read more

The purpose of this location is obviously to cater towards tourists but then they're super rude when you walk in dressed like a tourist and not in flashy fancy clothes. Literally observed their employees check every customer out from head to toe to see what they're wearing, and they even made a disgusted face when someone wasn't wearing all name brands. We literally have bought so many things from Hermes over the years and have an account with them, but we were just visiting so we didn't pack super fancy clothes with us. We walked in with every intention to buy something because of the lower sales tax compared to back home but with their judging attitude and rudeness we decided we would not entertain them whatsoever and walked out. This review is based upon my visit to this store in June of 2022. Like most people, I had to wait in line since I had no appointment. After a fun happy hour at nearby Maui Brewing Company, my husband and I decided to wait in line since the line wasn't too long at 4PM. The wait was under 15 minutes. We were greeted by an SA who made us feel welcomed and helped us with everything we needed. Prior to this visit, I had only bought small items online and never been to an actual store. We went in there knowing I will only buy a pair of sandals. With liquid courage, I asked the SA if they had an Evelyne in stock. Surprisingly, they had one available(in the size and color that I wanted) I guess it's a no brainer right? I hope that all my future visits to any Hermes store would at least be half as good as my experience here. read more

During our vacation to Oahu I wanted to get a little something from the Hermès boutique to commemorate the trip. The staff was very friendly. We waited maybe 5 minutes to get into the store (due to current conditions) and straight away I was helped by a very nice SA. I wanted to get a twilly for one of my H bags and she was very helpful in showing me their selection. The store is very beautiful, and basically all of the stores that line this street are excellent. Maybe it is the Hawaiian spirit, but I found that staff were very warm and welcoming here. This may be the only Hermes in the world where it's acceptable to walk in wearing shorts and flip flops and still be greeted with a smile. My husband and I walked in and were lucky enough to be paired with Emiko. She is straight-forward, knowledgeable about H and its products, and has excellent taste. She was able to take my relatively vague requests and find the most beautiful purse to add to my closet. I'm honestly impressed with how perfect this purse is considering the lack of direction I gave her. She later followed up with us, per my request, and had a few accessories to accompany my bag. Stay away from Hermes on Kalaukala in Waikiki. I had a hard time finding help, and finally got a frazzled employee to sell me a lipstick. I got back to my hotel, opened it, and it was the wrong shade. First thing the next day I returned with receipt and in the original package, showed a different clerk the correct shade I chose the night before, and asked to exchange it. She asked about a bag, which I didn't receive because the lipstick was small and I put it in my Tiffany bag. She then refused to do the exchange because they "couldn't re-sell it" without original packaging. That was a completely ridiculous excuse, and terrible customer service for a $75 lipstick. That same evening I made purchases at Tiffany, Valentino, and Saint Laurent, on the same street. I had to return one item to Saint Laurent, and they were extremely gracious, in doing a refund (as opposed to just an exchange) and were even supportive that I found an item I liked better at Valentino. Never, ever again will I shop at Hermes, for anything. Awful BS service at the sale, and in refusing to rectify THEIR ERROR. read more

this is my second time here. once before the pandemic and I was offered and Constance. and had turned it down. now 4 years later now going back and hoping to have it in stock and ready to be offered was a big phat NO. I had an appointment that was missed due to delayed flights. we ended us waiting and was told no bags, not Picotin, no birkin, no Kelly, no cinstancesl I ended up getting the chypre all black sandals and was so happy asi was breaking in my oran sandals for the first time. and my feet were killing me, and I had bought the size 37 on impulse on that I will never be able o find it. but it ended u hurting too, not sure if my feet were swollen all day walking or from the blisters from the Oran. I hope bringing it back to the states I can wear it normally without hurting, otherwise I wasted a big chunk of money for nothing. I should of gotten the open toed sandals engrie. the sizing is so strange I tried a size 36 in engrie and worker, size 37 in chypre but I need a 38.5 in Oran.l the SA was nice but I'm not sure. in the beginning.. i was not planning to buy anything and just accompanying my sis in law. upon entering, the SA and the guard greeted us. the first SA was not as helpful to my sis in law and left us by telling us that she will meet us on 2nd floor and she never came. being i am not used to that type of service & getting irritated for my sis in law... i signaled another SA and this one is amazing (Jia Jia). she patiently helped my sis in law and i was just listening/observing her from where i was seated. after awhile, i was happy with her customer service and commended her on the spot for a job well done. i ended up shopping for a few items too due to her service and i had fun just conversing naturally with her on many things. she was also honest with her feedback if the product does not fit or look great for my sis in law. she also offered us sparkling water as we shop or when we are waiting for an item while she gets it from the back. we even went back to the store on the same day and brought another friend over to her. the security guard recognized us and was friendly in welcoming us back to the store. of course, we were happy that jia jia took care of us again. we end up buying more items the second time around inside the store. we flew back to calif as a happy customer!! read more
