But I called today (Friday 4/24 at 3pm), and the receptionist was incredibly rude. I asked if I could make an appointment and gave her my name. She said, "you haven't been here in a while, you'd need to make a new patient appt... and I'm not sure we take your insurance anymore anyway." I asked why I would need to do a new patient appointment (which includes X-rays and is more expensive), and she responded, "uh you haven't been here since 2024." I then asked if that was a policy because I don't remember being told that, and she said, "uh no but it's been 2 years and I don't even know if we take your insurance anymore." So I said okay, can you check if you still take my insurance and I'll make an appointment for a later time. Her response: "the person that checks insurance isn't here but I can take a note." The attitude throughout the entire call was rude and unprofessional. I would understand if this was clearly explained as a policy, but that wasn't the case. I just wanted to come in for an adjustment, but after this interaction, I won't be back.

It doesn't matter to him. He genuinely cares about his patients and wants what's best for them. It never feels like a money grab. Here's part of a letter I recently wrote to him: "Thank you, Dr. Clements! It's so refreshing to work with you because you really do care about us. After getting that roller and using it daily for 10, and now 15 minutes, I'm amazed. At first my back was cracking and popping. Now it's not, but it's getting stretched out better than I can ever remember, at least in recent memory. Most of the sensations I was feeling through my neck, throat, face, etc. have all subsided. Those were super scary too. OMG, my friend. I've had some days where it started coming back. I even had one wave where I went through every single symptom I had experienced, but it happened in about 20 minutes instead of 20 days. That was wild. The medical doctors and physical therapists I saw only recommended pain medication and exercises that actually made things worse. She was cutting me off and not allowing me to finish what I had to say after telling her I was in a MVA. Please disclose that you do not help people that have been in an accident.
