Woke up in the morning and the first floor and basement were cold. Furnace would not turn on. Vlad form Hero Air was the first to respond including an up front quote for the service call. He replied before 6am through the app and said he could arrive the same morning. He came on time and quickly identified the problem and thoroughly explained the problem. We had worked with Vlad a couple times on minor HVAC repairs and were very happy with his work. We found him to be skilled, trustworthy, and affordable. So when it came time to unexpectedly install a whole new HVAC system in the middle of our home renovation, we thought of Hero Air first. We also got a quote from a salesperson at a big HVAC company, and it was significantly higher. It felt like they were trying to sell us something, while Vlad was trying to help us make the right decision. Even though Vlad let us know installing a new system during a renovation is a balancing act and a challenge, he was up for the job and we felt comfortable having him do it. Once again he proved himself to be a super knowledgeable professional who was able to walk us through every step and educate us along the way. It was definitely a challenge, as some of the work involved cutting room for new registers and working around other contractors' work. His helper's cuts weren't as pristine as our GC would have liked, but overall we were 100% satisfied with the final product. Our furnace wasn't wasn't working properly and reached out to a few different people. He was quick to respond and was able to make it the next morning. He quickly diagnosed the issue and gave me a fair price to get a new part and install on our already 19 year old furnace. We asked about getting a new unit and again offered a reasonable price. He gave honest answers and did not try to upsell us. We opted for a new unit and he made us a priority to get it up and running that day . Vlad is the best because he showed me how to change the humidity filter through the bottom. Previously another company changed the filter through the top where the water spout is located which is wrong because you can break it when you move it aside to take off the lid. That previous company also charged me $60 for a humidity filter which cost about $12 on Amazon. Vlad fixed my two furnaces so they get warmer in extreme cold weather. Vlad did not charge extra for that. He also cleaned the furnace sensor for which the previous company I used two year ago wanted to charge extra. I highly recommend Hero Air. Five stars are not high enough!!!! read more

I have used Hero Air twice now and every time it has been a great experience. very prompt showing and very honest estimates. originally I had a quote from four seasons co for $1400 gas valve replacement. I called Hero Air and it wasn't even the gas valve but a capacitor. changing that and getting a general service turned out to be $300 which was much lower than $1400 for a misdiagnosis. read more

Found Vladimir through Yelp. - Super responsive over messaging - I have a complex water cooled/heated HVAC that all the other HVAC companies said they don't service. - Came 10 minutes early - Came with face mask, booties and respected social distancing throughout the entire service call. - Was able to pay with zelle (he takes chase as well) - He clearly knows what he's doing - was able to run all the right tests and fixed my problem. - Doesn't seem like the type that takes short cuts.
