Above and beyond service! I came in with a broken seat looking for the best seat for my body type. The first seat I got was not to comfortable. However, the owner was so kind for me to uninstall the seat & install a new one for me to try. Note that it takes about 15 minutes to install bike seats. On top, he also allowed me to test drive for the seats as long as I wanted to. Honestly, the service should have been about 20 minutes but ended up taking a hour long due to how patient, kind & understanding the owner was! I brought my beach cruiser in to get a tune up and to replace some worn parts. The owner was nice and informative. Tune up was only $20 and the parts I needed were only $25. He had it done in a timely manner and even fixed and supplied a part I didn't realize I needed for no cost. I will definitely do business with him again. Worst service ever , I came in the shop with the intention to buy a bike, the guy working would not bring a bike out I wanted because he said its to much work, I told him "how can I buy a bike if I can't sit on it to know what I'm buying" and he just said "okay" and did not get the bike out, so I just left , bad experience . read more

My boyfriend is putting together a bike and had been having difficulty finding a bike head set that fit. After a google search he found this place and decided to give it a try. When he went in he took his bike with him so he could make sure he had the right fit before making the purchase. The gentleman he spoke with (not sure if he was the owner or an employee but he's on one of the yelp photos ) wasn't helpful in the least. My boyfriend asked him REPEATEDLY if he could try the head set on his bike, to which the gentleman refused, saying "they don't allow this". He also told him that all purchases are final sale. This head set takes 2 min or less to try so I'm not really sure why trying it would be such an issue. He did end up purchasing the headset, simply due to wanting to complete the project. The customer service was awful and the next time parts are needed, we will just go elsewhere. In fact, I was pissed that he gave someone business who clearly didn't care about his business anyway. read more

Such a great little local shop with fair prices. I recently purchased a new bike online & was looking for a place to get it professionally assembled. Called in around 6pm yesterday, (just an hour before closing) to get a quote. The gentleman who I talked to asked me what type of bike it was, explained the quote & offered to have it ready for me just before they closed at 7pm. I dropped off the bike (still in box) with the two gentlemen running the shop that day. I showed them a pic of the bike, they got right on to work & sure enough by 7 my newly assembled bike was ready! The two gentlemen working there encouraged me to return if I had any questions or needed anything in the future! Super knowledgeable, kind & professional men running this shop. In fact, all while picking up my bike... they had a young lady in there giving them a really really hard time. Nonetheless, the two men remained understanding, patient & respectful throughout the entire time. The gentleman who helped me was amazing. I came in a couple weeks ago and he quoted me a price to fix some stuff on my bike... Came back today since I finally had free time from work/busy schedule and the quoted price was the same. It means a lot to me that a business is consistent. His recommendations were based off of what I liked/needed as opposed to just wanting to make money. Love that type of business ethic and it's exactly what a local business needs as a foundation. I asked my friends who are more aware of pricing for bike parts and they agreed that the pricing is very fair. read more

I really like this bike shop. My bike is old and had a few problems in the past. So when I finally went to the store, I hoped they can help me fixing it. I was a little afraid because I don't know much about bikes and thought people can easily charge me more. But the man behind the table was very friendly, smiled and knew right the way what to do. So I wasn't afraid anymore. While the mechanic fixed my bike, I talked to the man behind the table. He has a lot to talk about and it was nice to hear his stories. We had a nice conversation so that the waiting time seemed to be like 5 minutes. I guess it took all in all about 25 minutes. They put on a new back wheel and fixed both breaks. And also they put new hand grips (?) on it, cause my old ones were really broken. I only paid $20 for everything. My bike feels like a complete new bike now and I'm SO happy. I appreciate their quick and extremely friendly service very much and would definitely recommend the store. read more

I walked in the skate shop and everything seemed okay,but the guy behind the counter did not smile and was not helpful and he was very serious. I was excited to choose my first first skateboard,so I asked if he could help me,but he did not know a thing about skateboards he replied "I just work here every skateboard is the same".I noticed he was rude and pushy. I asked if I could see a board behind the counter,so he asked if I am gonna buy it,so I replied yes but I have to check out the board before I buy it.I asked for a second board to see since that board was too big for me.He seemed to get irritated and said "my friend if i take it down the shelf you gonna buy it or else I am not taking it down". I was shocked because he was no help at all and very pushy,and I started thinking? is this how this guy makes his board sales. How am I gonna know if that's the the right size and if that the one I want.I decided to leave because I wasn't gonna buy something without holding it and observing it plus the guy was rushing me and did not let me hold any skateboards.He was expecting me to buy the skateboard just by looking at it from far away which was difficult because he didn't know anything about skateboards.Everything I asked he replied I don't know everything is the same "you touch you buy"This was the worst experience I had,and I was so excited to buy my first skateboard,but not this way.I rather buy my skateboard with someone that has some knowledge about skateboards,be helpful and have patient to sell a skateboard.I am definitely not recommending this place for your first skateboard.
