David recommended lights for the front and back and I got that installed. Total $180. You pay for the service first. When I first walked in at 2pm, he got right to work, examining the bike and listening to my issues with it respectfully. He replaced and fixed it all and I picked it up by 5pm I reluctantly paid for the service but if you have an old bike that needs fixing, just get a new one if you don't hold sentimental value towards it. I was confused since their text clearly stated $89.99 including parts and labor. I also mentioned that I appeared to have been double-charged and tried to show the owner the charge on his phone. He refused to look, checked his computer, and said it showed only one charge and told me to contact my credit card company. Later that day, my son rode his bike and came home after about an hour saying his rear brake wasn't working. He had to slam on his front brake to stop and ended up crashing. He came home with a bruised and scraped knee and a sprained wrist that now requires him to wear a brace for a month. I immediately called the shop and was told to bring the bike back in. The owner said the issue was a "glazed rotor" and that we needed a new rotor. I declined the additional service. What's concerning is that the bike was returned to us with a rear brake that did not function properly. Instead of taking responsibility, the owner accused my son of doing wheelies, which is simply not the case. Overall, this was a very disappointing experience. The pricing was inconsistent, concerns about billing were dismissed, and most importantly, the bike was returned in an unsafe condition. My son fell in love with a mountain bike and my wife found a road bike. Both bikes were in stock and ready for purchase. Prices were very fair as well.
