A great adventure with Erik and Paul, both of whom are knowledgeable, interesting, and helpful…read more With a pre-teen child, we wanted a somewhat lower-key morning trip on a pond, and it was exactly what we hoped for. Our guides were happy to chat when we wanted to, and just as willing to let us be a little separate from the group when that's what we wanted. But they always kept an eye on everyone. While my wife has kayaked before, I hadn't, but this has made me eager to come back to them. They are thinking of more kinds of trips to offer--can't wait to see what they come up. Thanks Eric & Paul for creating a great part of our MV vacation.

That in itself wouldn't be so terrible but I found out because they called my PARENTS instead of me to collect this money. I find that wildly invasive especially since I'm happy to pay any money I owe as long as I'm told I owe it! While the tour was great I found this incredibly upsetting because not only was my privacy invaded but my original credit card information I supplied them has clearly been lost. Too bad because the tour was great. I'd be cautious using this company-if you do, don't supply them with your credit card information because they mismanaged that information. Be careful using groupons or they might call your parents!

Martha's Vineyard, MA (as Amity Island)…read more When I hear of Martha's Vineyard I only know to associate it to Presidential vacations and retreats but there's so much more charm to it and I want to go back! Edgartown was the first town we visited at Martha's Vineyard. Located on the eastern side of the Island, Edgartown is a quiet, lovely village with a deep history of its New England whaling past... we enjoyed some shopping at local souvenir shops. We had lunch at the Seafood Shanty and stopped by the Ice Cream and Candy Bazaar for some ice cream and chocolates. This is the town where they filmed some of the scenes from Steven Spielberg's 1975 blockbuster "Jaws." The original sign used for Amity National Bank was displayed inside the Edgartown Nat'l Bank. We hopped on the VTA Bus #5 that took us to the Town of Aquinnah. It is the least populous town on the island. Here we were able to view the the multicolored clay cliffs of the Gay Head Cliffs and its surroundings including the Gay Head Lighthouse. That lighthouse was featured in Jaws too. Lastly, we got off the VTA Bus #13 at the Town of Oak Bluffs located at the northeastern shore of the island. This town is contrast to the old world charm of Edgartown and the vast fields at Aquinnah. Oak Bluffs is a vibrant and happening town. We saw the the Flying Horses Carousel but we totally missed the Gingerbread Houses! ... now I want to go back to MV again and see those pastel-colored cottages. Btw, there are no actual vineyards on Martha's Vineyard and the island is only accessible from the mainland via ferry. Review #3034

Our server was pleasant enough and the small restaurant was cute. Bar, hightop, booth and table seating are available. I ordered the fish and chips while my wife ordered the fish tacos with sweet potato fries. The fish tacos were very good but had too much cilantro but the taste was very fresh. My fish and chips was excellent. The fish was cooked perfectly, flaky and still glistening. The batter was crispy and was thicker than tempura but thinner than beer batter. The only issue was a fairly small portion size. My wife had the same amount of fish on her tacos. We did have dessert, which was unusual for us. My pecan pie was extremely well done and had a wonderful flavor. Only way to make it better would be to serve it cold, not room temperature...but that's just personal preference. My wife got the tapioca pudding, which was a little less successfully prepared. The texture wasn't bad, it was served cold but had to option to be heated and the serving size was good. It just didn'tdidnt have much flavor...tasted more like a custard, but it was even bland for that. Over all? Very positive experience and we will be back
