    --STAR This Hertz location has been a Nightmare to say the least. Hertz for an unbeknown reason is ACCEPTING online reservations when in FACT they do not have cars readily available for your reserved pick-up time. I had made reservations online a week prior to my work trip and when I arrived Oct 19,21, I was advised by Erika that they had no cars available due to a shortage, I can get put on a list but she had no idea how long the wait would be. Now picture hearing this from a person having no empathy to your time or mission. She was extremely dry, dismissive and I can't forget rude. I tried going to other rentals and they had the same issue. Once I came back to her, I noticed she was giving out cars as they came to others who didn't have a reservation. She said her purpose is because I didn't put myself on a waiting list- knowing she has my contact information, and I was visible. This is the kind of treatment a VIP member at Hertz receives. Then it gets better. I get a car with two pebbles on the glass. Days later they expand and now I'm feeling uncomfortable driving with broken glass. I spent the ENTIRE day going back and forth with Hertz animated phone system trying to get ahold of someone to assist me to switch out cars and NO help. I know have to drive to the location on Nov 2, 21 and I see at least 15 people waiting around and I just knew they were experiencing my same matter. Now there are two ladies basically going off about the customer service and the incompetency of the entire staff with lack of care for their time. Then I see Erika again - breathe... I explain to her the glass situation and her reply is, "it's still drivable so you can either leave the car or get on a waiting list that will get you into a car no later than Thursday. I gave her my information. I decided to go to Hertz at the Florida, Baton Rouge location and their professionalism was night to day. They young lady took my information and said she would have a car for me in a few hours and she would contact me once she had the paperwork ready so that all I had to do was switch cars. It's 11/4 and nothing... I recommend for EVERYONE to make the solid reservations over the phone to a different location and just taxi there, it would be cheap and worth your mental state. This LOCATION is absolutely TERRIBLE and needs new management and NEW EVERYTHING. If you choose not to believe this long review - GOOD LUCK LOLOLOL you'll deserve it.

    Agents no where to be found. Left other customers in the lobby for fifty minutes.

    Terrible customer service and NO consideration for people impacted by coronavirus. Extremely rude on the phone. DO NOT use Hertz.

I was also informed that I needed my own insurance to rent a vehicle, which was confusing given my understanding of Enterprise's rental requirements and available protection options. What was most concerning was the manner in which I was treated. During my visit, I observed other customers being assisted and receiving rentals without similar issues. As an African American customer, the experience left me questioning whether I was treated differently because of my race. While I cannot definitively determine the reason for my treatment, the interaction caused me serious concern and made me feel unwelcome and unfairly singled out. Because of the seriousness of these concerns, I am documenting this incident and seeking guidance regarding my rights and available options. I am also consulting legal counsel regarding the matter.

When she started to create a stink the manager called around and brought her to another branch that had a vehicle then and there. Guess the squeaky wheel gets the grease. Then, some things came up with the dealer where they said they could cover the rental car, while my car was being worked on, so had to come here to get a car (in order for them to pay for it). The Enterprise employee was so nice and helpful. Sadly, the only car they had in the size we needed was an F-150. For those that know me, I am tiny, so that truck was waaaaaay too big! The seats were so hard to adjust and it was kind of grimy on the inside. Totally not for me. Luckily my husband was able to drive it and we had the option of exchanging it at the BTR Enterprise location. So, we did just that! Anyway, this location (on Airline by Siegen) definitely exceeded our expectations and we were thrilled to get such great service despite the other bad reviews they received. These rental car facilities are hit & miss. They change out management often, so a review written 1-2 years back might no longer be valid because their is a different staff in place. Anyway, the young lady here was so helpful and got on us on our way pretty quick! So, thanks =)
