I confirmed the reservation 3 days prior to pick-up and I had the reservation scheduled for a 12:00 pick-up. I arrived at 12:10 and the location was CLOSED. The attendant left at 12:00. I received no prior notice that this was the case. The system allowed me to schedule a 12:00 pick-up and my name was sitting on a piece of paper on the desk with a scheduled pick-up. Who does that? Who just goes home when they know someone is coming to pick-up a car. If anything they can call or text and say please come at 11:30. I live locally I could have done that had I known. I will NEVER use Enterprise again!!!

It also meant I was going to miss my appointment which annoyed me. However, as soon as she came, she apologized, got me my car (upgraded which was a nice touch although I was hesitant at first since I had to spend more time figuring out a new car), gave me a discount and helped me get on the road as soon as possible. She came outside to check in on me. Appreciate her for being human and making sure once she was there she did everyone she could in her capacity to make my experience better! We used a Marriot gift card, which is typically always a problem, but they had it done in minutes. The place is clean, rooms are very well maintained and the cleaning staff does an excellent job. It's about a 10 minute walk to the heart of the town so it's very convenient. It has a rooftop restaurant, a bar and a breakfast buffet. The gym is fantastic! One of the best I've seen! Super clean, multiple machines, a virtual workout station and plenty of free weights. The rooftop restaurant is nice, good food at a good price and has a great vibe. It's apparently a pretty trendy spot with the locals. The not so great - added fees. They charged us a $25 a day "destination" fee - money that they are "giving us" that we had to spend at the hotel. Well, if you're charging us automatically, then you're not giving it to us. No mention of that when we booked. Also, parking is not free - it's Valet ONLY and it's $45 a day. That was also misleading in the listing. It reads Valet or parking garage. You can take your chances and try to park on the street, but you have to pay for that too. Two observations that are neither good nor bad - the views are "ok" - there are multiple construction projects going on in the immediate area (not the hotel's fault) but it definitely doesn't make for great views of the water or town. Hopefully, in time, those projects will finish and make the neighborhood look better. It's also a pet friendly hotel, so you'll see lots of dogs coming and going. They do a really good job masking any "smells" or "sights" you would normally come across in a pet friendly environment - I honestly didn't notice anything until I saw an actual dog and thought "oh wow, I guess they are pet friendly" Overall, a very good experience, just didn't appreciate getting nickel and dimed with extra fees.

We have been staying at this Portsmouth, New Hampshire hotel since Saturday on what was supposed to…read morebe a much-needed vacation. Unfortunately, our experience has been extremely disappointing. For the second day in a row, we returned to find that our room had not been cleaned. I repeatedly asked the front desk to make sure our room was serviced each day. We are traveling with our small dog, Rocky, who is crate-trained and secured in his crate whenever we leave the room, so there is no reason staff could not enter. In fact, we went out of our way to introduce Rocky to the housekeeping staff during our first two days to ensure they were comfortable and that there would be no issues. Despite those efforts, our room was still skipped two days in a row. The only response we received from the front desk was an apology, with no meaningful attempt to resolve the situation. While this hotel advertises itself as dog-friendly, that certainly has not been our experience. If housekeeping is unwilling to service rooms because a guest is traveling with a well-behaved, crated dog, that policy should be made clear before booking. I am terribly disappointed with our stay and would not recommend this hotel to anyone traveling with pets.

Absolutly horrible. Go anywhere but here. This is the only rental company that does not accept debit cards. It does not matter how much money you have in your account. I made a reservation a week in advance online as my vehicle needs some repairs. I needed the car to go visit family that was depending on me to be there. 90% of the rental cost was charged to my debit card but when I went to pick the car up they proceeded to inform me that as of September 1 they no longer accept debit cards only major credit cards. I personally do not have a credit card as I do not believe in spending money you do not have... therefore I was not able to pick up my rental that was already paid for and subsequently let my family down all thanks to hertz. Their reasoning was that some people used their debit card then cancelled it after and took the car... to my knowledge you can cancel a credit card just as easily as a debit card and car theft is still car theft. If you have a drivers liscence on file... which you need to rent the car to begin with... how exactly is it a problem??? will never again go through this company credit card or not. So disappointed and disgusted! read more

Total Scam--Avoid This Company At All Costs…read more I had the most infuriating, unprofessional experience with this so-called luxury car rental company. I booked a McLaren 720 to drive to an important event of mine, paid a $500 deposit, and received a confirmation receipt. A few days later (Thursday), Diego contacts me at 8:30 a.m. to say the McLaren 720 was in an accident and offered me a McLaren 570 instead. Within a couple of minutes, I confirmed and agreed to pick it up at 1 p.m. on Saturday, April 5th. Simple, right? Wrong. The next day (Friday), around 330 p.m., Diego sends me pictures of a completely different vehicle, which made no sense since we already agreed on the 570. I was extremely busy on Friday, preppering for my event and didn't see the text until later that night. Around 11 p.m., I reluctantly responded "Okay, that will do." just to move things along. On April 5th, the day of the rental, I'm running late as I am finalizing everything for my event. At 1:30 p.m., I check my phone and see a text from Diego at 11 a.m.saying, "Since you did not confirm the vehicle, it is no longer available." Excuse me? I confirmed twice--once when he switched cars (from the 720 to the 570), and again when I agreed to the random care he sent. I immediately called Diego. A woman answers, transfers me to Diego, who says, "Give me 5 minutes and I'll call you back." Guess what? He never called back. I head to their "business" address, only to find a locked car lot with no customer access. Not a customer-facing business at all. I try calling Diego again--no answer. I call four more times--still no answer. I check my receipt and realize the address on it is completely different from the website. So, I drive to the address on the receipt and end up at a residential house. No business, no professionalism, just a couple of luxury cars sitting outside someone's home. I call the number on the receipt, and the man who answers tells me, "Diego said that he can't help you. He won't be helping you. So you can stop calling because he isn't going to answer." When I asked to speak to Diego directly, he says "I've been told not to transfer calls, ma'am. Have a nice day." and hung up on me. I'm beyond furious at this point, but I still need to have a car for my even that is later this evening. I call again, telling the woman that I need a car ASAP--any luxury car at this point, I don't care what it is. She says she'll take care of it. Of course, I never hear back. At this point, I've been completely blown off and left high and dry. Since Diego avoided me and didn't provide a service, I reported the charge as fraud with my card provider. This company is a complete scam--no accountability, no professionalism, and certainly no respect for paying customers. I eventually contacted MPH Club who offered the same rate and was able to secure a car within an hour. Do yourself a favor and stay far, far away.

I am glad I found this company. Booked them for my trip back to the airport. Their driver arrived a little earlier, professionally dressed. Their new premium luxury Cadillac Escalade was super clean and smelled very fresh. Nice and smooth ride. They were more expensive than Uber but worth every penny.
