Five HUGE stars for Enterprise in Lexington!…read more I may preface this by saying that I was definitely born in the wrong century in that I despise using computers/apps for every transaction nowadays. It is a true godsend to do anything these days without it turning into a major stress event involving ill-programmed websites/computers/passwords, absence of human communication/interaction, customer set-ups designed solely for the business-owner advantage, automated telephonic nonsense, computer-cryptic hidden fees, etc. Here's the story: My car croaked and I needed to rent a car. In fear of what I have described above, I boldly decided to risk it and simply just walk down to Enterprise at opening time to see about renting a car. I was stressed already and anticipating "the usual" like being told "you have to book this on-line" and/or "you need a user ID to access a new account" and similar such nonsense. Instead, I was welcomed by a very pleasant lady (Abigail) who was well spoken. She clearly stated the rental information and answered any questions I had. She booked a car to fit my needs and the price was clear and all info was up front. Before I knew it, I was led over to my car, and I was driving off on my merry way all within 10 minutes or less of my arrival. I literally left with a smile and low-than-ever cortisol levels. At the end of the week, I called Enterprise and spoke to Richard on the phone, and I informed him that I needed a week-long rental extension and he set it up via phone in seconds. He was very helpful and pleasant and a good communicator. It later turned out that my own car was now repaired, and I didn't need the rental extension after all. I called Enterprise and Richard answered. I informed him of my situation and said to "just return the car when you like and everything will be all set." The return process was a snap. Everything was lickety-split and totally "user friendly" and all info was clearly and concisely presented. Best of all, everything was accomplished without my ever having to touch a computer -not even once. No run-around, no confusion, no hidden fees, real people, etc. Old school and I'm lovin' it! Thank you, Enterprise!

Two stars for the convenient location adjacent to the Marriott. Even though they allow after hours…read morereturns at this location they don't make it easy. They blocked the parking area entrance with a sign and plastic traffic barriers. Had to move them to park the car in the proper place. 8 AM the next day came and went and still no receipt. Called National on the toll free line. They said the car had been checked in and I'd receive a receipt within an hour. Five hours later still no receipt. Went to the location in person around 2 PM and encountered two women in the booth They claimed they were working on the returns and finally issued a receipt. Certainly not my experience when I rent from Hertz.

Once you get to the building it shows you where your car rental company is located. Very easy to find, you just have to pay attention you don't miss your stop to get off when the bus driver announces the next stop. The only drawback is depending on when you arrive, there might be a long line and short staff. There was only one lady there attending to each customer so it took abit longer. They were trying to get people in line to use the car rental kiosks available but people were having trouble using them and it seemed it bit difficult and they would just get back in line. Another staff member finally came to help the other lady who was by herself and helped us out. He was very friendly and kind. It was pretty quick. We just had to go upstairs to get our car. We got a silver Nissan Pathfinder. I believe all cars come with a Toll road box. The person who takes you to your car will tell you how it works. It actually comes in handy in the city and highways here. We thought we weren't going to use it but we needed to especially with the traffic during rush hour. It helped out alot. You just flip it down to use it and flip it up not to use it but they'll go over that with you when picking up your car. We enjoyed having the freedom of having a car to go wherever we wanted to. The car seats comfyness was a 5, they were uncomfortable after long road trips on our backs and bums. The niceness was an 8, the gadgets on the car were a bit complex to figure out but we got the hang of it. We did like that the back seat folded down to put my husbands wheelchair and our belongings, a plus on that! We would use them again. As everything went smoothly when dropping off the car and the pricing. We would use Alamo again if renting anywhere else.

There were a lot of people waiting when I walked in, it looked as though they were all there to get a new license and I realized that was the last time I had been in an AAA office (2018). I am a Plus member so there was no charge and thanks again to Jim!
