I need a rental for the weekend because of a previously planned event. If course the prices have been raised due to inflation, but I had to get the rental. For starters, they were able to provide me with a rental. When searching online, many places didn't have one available at the last minute like I needed. Secondly they were a little cheaper than other companies. The sales people were very nice and accommodating. The process was quick and everything was handled with professionalism and a smile. My second experience was when my car needed to be repaired because someone backed into it. Luckily I didn't have to pay for this rental and this location was close to the place that would be servicing my car. The salesperson picked me up from the repair shop and had a SUV waiting for me when I actually put in for a regular size car. They upgraded me for free which I thought was nice. Going inside to complete paperwork, the salesperson from the first time I rented was there and she remembered me and asked about my weekend experience. We had discussed it when I was checking out the first time. That was 5 months earlier and I thought it was nice that our short interaction left an impression on her. Once my car was repaired, I left the rental at the repair shop and Enterprise came and picked it up. My interactions were very positive and the salespeople were always friendly and accommodating. The tow arrived and the ride never came. I used Uber for the remainder of the time. My status shows that I still have the car, which is a problem, since I rent a car every week for work. I have called customer service and they say that they can not help me, on the Charleston Airport can. The airport never answers the phone. Customer service has tried, no answer. The claim from customer service is they have sent the branch messages, but nothing has happened. It appears no one cares. The last call I was told to go to the airport in person. That really does not work when I do not live in South Carolina. National non-existent customer service, Charleston Airport National no follow-up. I am almost 2 weeks into this incident and still not resolution.

After having to deal with multiple flight cancellations and almost 15 hours wasted at the airport I decided to attempt to rent a car and drive to Savannah, GA to catch the only flight left to get me back home to TX. The rental office was closed when I arrived, they open at 7. When 7AM struck there was no sighting of any employees working. 20 minutes later rep finally shows up with zero sense of urgency, doesn't acknowledge me or anyone else in line, types on the computer (logging into his account I guess) and then says he can help me a few minutes later. No hello, good morning, or anything. I let the rep know that I would like to reserve a car and that I have multiple free rental rewards on my account and that I would like to redeem one of those to make my way to Savannah. He said he could not help me because he's unable to make reservations and I would have to do it through the app or make a phone call. That was shocking to me but I didn't make a big deal about it and said ok. I kindly asked for the phone number for customer service so they could help me and he couldn't even give me that. The rep said I could Google it. Really National? Do better. Whoever the dude was that you had working on 6/27/2023 at 7AM needs some serious retraining.
