The purpose of making a reservation is to ensure availability and minimize wait times. Unfortunately, that was not the case. There was very little communication regarding the delay, and no realistic estimate was provided as to when a vehicle would be available. What makes this even more frustrating is that I was supposed to be traveling for my birthday. Because of this delay, my plans have completely changed, and I've spent a significant portion of my birthday sitting and waiting instead of enjoying the trip I had planned. Not exactly how anyone hopes to celebrate their special day. I understand that unexpected issues can occur, but waiting several hours after a confirmed reservation is unacceptable. This experience has been frustrating, inconvenient, and has significantly impacted my plans. Happy Birthday to me, I guess. I hope management takes steps to improve vehicle availability, customer communication, and reservation fulfillment so future customers do not experience the same situation.

Worst experience ever I flew into Cheyenne airport and there was no one working there . You have to…read morecall a number and they don't pickup the phone . Finally we hear from another person waiting that there are no cars . We have to get picked up and taken to their other location and wait for a car to be ready. Then when I went to return the car and pick up a new one there wasn't anyone at the airport again and once again they don't pick up the phone . I end up having to drive to their other location and wait forever for them to try and get me a car. Mind you I pre booked everything! Worst experience ever. Just FYI the Avis people were at their desk the whole time ! Never again with enterprise ! I will say I dropped my rental off in Denver and the customer service was amazing they were so helpful and Brett the manager gave me a discount because of the service we had . They also helped us with our bags . Brett and his team in Denver were amazing!

And it was the vehicle grade we had reserved (our original vehicle picked up from another location in WA state was 1 or 2 grades below). Great customer service and gave us a $50 credit for all of the hassles we had to go through at our pick up and with Avis's customer service. I rented a car from this location twice. The first time I was charged for fuel after returning a…read morefull vehicle. The second time, oh let me tell you. We got a Kia suv. The first night it leaked fluids everywhere. I went the next morning and was told to continue driving the vehicle. That evening the oil light came on. We went back and got another car and drove it 8 miles, parked it, and ran errands with our truck and trailer. When we returned an hour and half later the car wouldn't start. We called the location and he "instructed us" how to start a Mazda. It didn't work so we went to the location. Remember, we picked this car up that morning. The manager told my husband that he must have left the car on overnight. They could not give us another car because "it was in our possession". But he could help us start it at two, it was 10. We were on day 3 without a functioning rental car. We gave him the keys and he supposedly ordered a tow truck. This was after I was told by road side assistance to take the first car to get an oil change and submit reimbursement. Well, two weeks later and the tow truck hasn't picked up the car, customer service won't help me, and the original person I spoke with from customer serve that had stated they would follow up, never did. I now have almost $1200 of charges from a rental car that has been sitting because of failure to follow through. Save your time and your headache.

National Customer Service hides behind their rental agreement and despite what anyone with their outfit tells you, no one is calling you back.

I chose Cheyenne as the drop-off location, as it was the closest on my path into Wyoming. First, the "office" is located inside the super small Cheyenne airport. And this would be classified as the smallest National office I have encountered. As with other small airports, the cars are located directed outside off the terminal - - but in National's case, I don't even remember any parking spots for cars. Or... better yet, where do I drop my car off at? They had a small sign posted w the days that the "office" is staffed; and naturally Sunday they are closed. Luckily the Avis guy next door told me where the 3 dedicated National parking spots were; so I parked there, and then just dropped the keys off. And...I did get my drop-off receipt later that day - - so it was nice that someone, at some point did check my car in.

Not only did we find a husband and wife that treated us with respect and were up front, but we found a dealership who takes pride in their work and their pre-owned vehicles at reasonable/fair prices! I will definitely be a repeat customer and strongly encourage everyone to go to Networking Auto Sales and visit with Nick and April about their inventory! You walk in for a car and walk out with hope for the auto industry!

This is a review about Hertz in general. I was trying to cancel my reservation that I made 20…read moreminutes earlier. Their response was to send me to priceline, but when I go to priceline they tell me I need to talk to Hertz. To make matters even better when I call Hertz their phone system tries to push me back to the internet instead of talking to a human. When you finally get to where you are almost to a human then they threaten to charge you 5% if you make any changes to your reservation with a customer service agent. If you want a great example of how not to do business - check out Hertz. National and pretty much any other car rental company are much better.
