I rented a car from this location twice. The first time I was charged for fuel after returning a…read morefull vehicle. The second time, oh let me tell you. We got a Kia suv. The first night it leaked fluids everywhere. I went the next morning and was told to continue driving the vehicle. That evening the oil light came on. We went back and got another car and drove it 8 miles, parked it, and ran errands with our truck and trailer. When we returned an hour and half later the car wouldn't start. We called the location and he "instructed us" how to start a Mazda. It didn't work so we went to the location. Remember, we picked this car up that morning. The manager told my husband that he must have left the car on overnight. They could not give us another car because "it was in our possession". But he could help us start it at two, it was 10. We were on day 3 without a functioning rental car. We gave him the keys and he supposedly ordered a tow truck. This was after I was told by road side assistance to take the first car to get an oil change and submit reimbursement. Well, two weeks later and the tow truck hasn't picked up the car, customer service won't help me, and the original person I spoke with from customer serve that had stated they would follow up, never did. I now have almost $1200 of charges from a rental car that has been sitting because of failure to follow through. Save your time and your headache.

Avis, the next booth over, is open more hours. Unless you have their affinity or club card, or a discount card through some other membership, their rates are higher than Enterprise. They don't do pickup/drop-off like Enterprise. The Enterprise car rental at Cheyenne is not at the airport, but since they will pick you up, it's the better deal.

What makes this even more frustrating is that I was supposed to be traveling for my birthday. Because of this delay, my plans have completely changed, and I've spent a significant portion of my birthday sitting and waiting instead of enjoying the trip I had planned. Not exactly how anyone hopes to celebrate their special day. I understand that unexpected issues can occur, but waiting several hours after a confirmed reservation is unacceptable. Finally we hear from another person waiting that there are no cars . We have to get picked up and taken to their other location and wait for a car to be ready. Then when I went to return the car and pick up a new one there wasn't anyone at the airport again and once again they don't pick up the phone . I end up having to drive to their other location and wait forever for them to try and get me a car. Mind you I pre booked everything! Worst experience ever. Their response was to send me to priceline, but when I go to priceline they tell me I need to talk to Hertz. To make matters even better when I call Hertz their phone system tries to push me back to the internet instead of talking to a human. When you finally get to where you are almost to a human then they threaten to charge you 5% if you make any changes to your reservation with a customer service agent. If you want a great example of how not to do business - check out Hertz. National and pretty much any other car rental company are much better.

Which I completely understand! But we were in a bad spot. When Eric answered, he agreed to stay and found a mechanic, Hunter, to wait for us to get there. They were so kind and accommodating. They let us borrow an extra car to go get oil. Eric even gave my kiddos a tour of the autobody shop. Which for the record is very well kept! We wouldn't have been able to continue on our journey without them, and they even tried to refuse money when we paid them at the end. I would say go to this place if you need someone reliable.
