The kind folks at Autotronics gave me a ride to Dave's. Even though Dave's front desk rental person was not there, Dave worked hard to remember his system so that I could rent a car and get underway. Dave and Kyle were so sweet and worked to get me the right car. He had received a fleet of brand new Highlanders that afternoon and hadn't even set them all up for rental. I really needed a hitch for my bike rack and he and Kyle got it ready to rent for me. Not to mention, Dave has a huge, funny, and warm personality. I couldn't be more grateful. I like the drive in approach to dropping off. Staff came out and did a quick check and processed me out. Even though I had my son picking me up-.. I did inquire if they still offer the pick up and drop off.. Yes!.. they do, but make sure to reserve ahead.. ** I just looked at the rental invoice and the charged me $40 so I'll be making some calls today to adjust.. No pressure, no awkward insurance upselling, no time-wasting -- just quick, professional service. What really impressed me was what happened when my car repair finished earlier than expected. I was technically a couple of hours into the second rental day when the shop called and said my car was ready. I called Enterprise to ask whether I'd be charged for the full second day. Without hesitation, they told me to bring it in -- and didn't charge me for the second day at all, even though I was already into it. No hassle, no fine print. They also drove me to pick up my own car, which was very appreciated. The SUV I was given was in excellent condition -- clean and comfortable.
