    Been on hold over 30 min! Hung up and tried again. No one answers!!!

    No one answers the phone! Had car 3 hours and it smells like feet and this error message came on! Been on hold forever!

    Just rented a full size SUV this morning. Let me start with.... I'm very abrupt and I don't take BS..... My wife made reservations over a month ago for a full size SUV... When I got there, I could tell that there were not many vehicle's there and the only full size SUV was a Jeep Wagoneer. Unfortunately I watched another customer drive off with. I should have gotten there ten minutes earlier. This SUV is big. Bridget help me and she said that I would be getting a Nissan pathfinder???? We verbally went back and forth with me saying that a Pathfinder is a mid size SUV and she stated that it is a crossover SUV with three row seats. The a*#h"le started coming out of me when I stated that it's a mid size SUV with 3 Rows and the only people who could fit back there comfortably is kids or people under 5' tall. Bridget, (God bless her for tolerating me) After a few more choice words by me, she immediately went inside, talked to her manager and got me another Jeep Wagoneer. Granted, I had to wait 2 hrs for it to be delivered. I'm giving Bridget 5 Stars for staying professional and curious the whole time dealing with me. I did apologize to her for my rudeness before I left.... Bottom line... I'm ranking on customer service and she went above and beyond... Enterprise gets my business every time.

Staff is generally nice, but the cars are meh. Since this is a franchise location, they really do cut corners wherever they can. I recommend doing a walk around the vehicle before you leave. I usually sit in my car to adjust the mirrors and check the radio and climate control and sometimes find something else. Pay attention to the following (because I experienced it at one time): - Check the tires - Check to see if any indicator lights are on - If the gas tank is full. This is a pet peeve of mine because I ALWAYS get the car partially full and I end up returning the car completely FULL (more range then when I received it). Of course they tell you that you can return it at the same level, but when you're filling up the tank, how do you know when to stop it? Seriously, I should be getting cash back for all the times I filled up their tank. The cars are generally dirty. They put a little effort to clean the inside, but ignore the outside. The last car I had was completely dirty on the outside, that I had to: 1) Fill up the gas tank 2) Clean the windows twice because the bug crap wasn't coming out The other thing was my last car was from Florida. It was a fully loaded VW Tiguan which I would have enjoyed had it not been deodorized or fumigated. I swear, if I don't get COVID, I was feeling sick from the fumes and drove with the windows down.

    This is an update from my rental on 1/12/22 - 1/17/22. I needed to rent an SUV to move my son back…read moreto college. First off, the attendant that I dealt with was very patient with me {though he wasn't wearing a mask while on duty}. I am like the Princess and the Pea when it comes to car rentals. He wasn't the problem, but the cars were a problem. Since 2020, the quality of the car care has gone downhill. I noticed this at the airport and at my local Avis. I don't think they really clean it because it's one person manning the front desk and cleaning cars in between. We have washed the car before we left and clean it out before we return it. Plus, the staff does not fill the cars up with gas if they are returned empty. It's assumed it's the customer's responsibility. I noticed even if the cars are "filled" up, by the time I leave the lot, it's below the "F" line. I went through several cars before I could settle on the one. One of the cars I almost settled with was a Buick. I had the keys and noticed there's a lot of debris on the windshield, so when I went to use my wipers, the right wiper was broken, so I had to get another car. I finally settled on a 4Runner. The inside was fairly clean (until I was cleaning it on the last day and found some garbage from the previous renter), but the major problem was the tank was on empty! The range was 65 miles. I end up taking this car after being told I do not have to fill it when I bring it back. When we filled it up, it cost $78.50 which is like paying for an extra day or two for me. While we were on our trip, the Change Oil reminder lit up as well. At least the wiper blades worked because on the way back we had a little rain. When I returned it right at 11am. One of the employees almost took me out when I was parking the car. But I almost got very upset when he questioned why I didn't fill it. I told him I'm giving it back the way you gave it to me. Oh wait, I doubled the range and gave the car back at 120 miles. Unfortunately, I have to use Avis for car rentals for business for expense purposes, so I will be back. I'll most likely end up filling up the car more than when I received it, as well as cleaning it out before I return it.

I had to call Avis the first couple times, now I check every time. They've never picked up the phone and the car is almost always dirty! Convenient, but terrible experiences at this location!!

We were given a Hyundai Sonata and told, "It's on the far side of the lot." (More about that later.) I was not happy! Luckily, my husband drove our SUV and I was able to use the Sonata. The biggest problem was I couldn't get a straight answer if the company was charging us for the SUV (a higher priced vehicle) or the Sonata. Upon returning the vehicle, I said I wanted the correct price for the Sonata. Again, double-talk about changing inventory, availability due to "problems in the world." Notice the quote marks. That's what the (presumed) owner said. When I said, "I don't know what world problems have to do with renting a car," he left the room and slammed the door behind him. The saving grace for a 2-star review is the young woman who checked in the car. (I know, I'm generous.) She (supposedly) charged us the Sonata rate and applied a $20 discount. She did have to make a call to get approval to do that. I told her that was all I wanted and thanked her for her help. More about taking possession of the car: No introduction on how to use a car I've never driven. Unfamiliar gear shift, the control panel is all new to me. I spent about 20 minutes aquatinting myself with how to operate the car. I did enter my phone so I could use Car Play map. There were previous drivers shown on the screen. I asked to have my fake name removed from the list and was told that would be taken care of by the technician. Right. Do not trust this company to be fair or honest. Call ahead to confirm you will receive the vehicle requested. Or better yet, use a different company.

Canceled my reservation and was charged to cancellation fee and I still had to pay the movers who didn't even actually move my things because I didn't have a truck.
