We needed to rent a car for a roadtrip. We looked around on Yelp and found Enterprise was the closest option. We ended up booking online through our Costco executive membership for points. I arrived one hour before my appointment because I honestly didn't know what to expect. I'm glad I did because the place was packed. When you enter, follow the line to the counter. That person will check you in and verify your information. After that, you sit and wait for your vehicle. After about an hour and fifteen minutes, it was my turn. The young man asked me questions regarding the rental. He went over the rates and if I wanted extra insurance, etc. The return process was painless. You drive up and wait a moment. Someone will take your key and do a quick walk around the vehicle. Overall, it was an easy process. The initial wait for the vehicle was probably the worst part. The gentleman at the counter was very polite. The gentleman giving me a quick tutorial on the rental was awesome! His name was Hao?!?! He answered all my questions before leaving. I believe Dave was the one I returned the car to. He was extremely friendly and helpful. The only downside to the rental would be the overall cost. After adding insurance, it was pretty hefty! This is a big Enterprise with lots of employees and clients coming in and out non stop. You see people drive off with the cars all wet from the wash. They can be slow at times with checking you in and giving you the actual car. Who I would like to mention was the super kind and helpful Trey that gave me a ride to pick up my car and helped me move all my groceries to and from the different cars. I had a reservation through the Audi dealership located next door and I have never seen such bad management and customer service. The Assistant Manager, Mercedes Carranza, made the entire experience horrible. She failed to acknowledge that I had been waiting in line for more than five minutes. Then when I was finally called she then decided to speak to the customers behind me. When I was finished checking in, I watcher her treat multiple customers very rudely, one was an elderly gentleman, in front of her staff and other individuals. She even thought it was acceptable to argue with one customer who was there to turn in a vehicle that would shake when driving over 70mph. After waiting over an hour I asked why I hadn't received a vehicle and others who came after me did. She said that my name was called multiple times, it wasn't, and they gave my car away. I would have to wait for an unknown amount of time for a vehicle that was reserved for me. I explained that no one called my name and that I had been sitting there and waiting. She then decided to get argumentative with me and told me that Enterprise would not be giving me a car and that I should go back to the Audi dealership. This experience is horrible because I had came with the expectation of receiving a car within the hour instead no one updated me on the progress of my rental car and then I was treated rudely and unfairly. I told the Audi dealership what transpired and they said they will also call the enterprise main office and let them know what happened. I made a reservation for a 7 seater through the app for a Sunday 9am pickup and got a confirmation. Saturday 12:30pm, I got a voicemail saying that I was placed on waitlist. I tried calling them back right away but it says the office closed at 12pm. I wanted to talk to somebody so I can make another plan, either canceling the reservation or go to another company. I go an email reminder to check in and I was able to check in successfully, gave my payment information and it gave me confirmation. I tried calling Sunday morning as soon as their office opened at 9am because the voicemail says I'm on waitlist and the confirmed check in says otherwise but nobody answered. I decided to go to the office since I thought maybe there's already an available vehicle for me because I was able to check in. When I talked to the person on the counter and told him I already checked in, he said "we called you yesterday and told you are on the waitlist".I told the guy this is not acceptable when they called, their office was already closed and tried calling back right away. I even told him their website allowed me to check in so I was under the impression that everything was ok. Prior to me wasting my time going to their office, nobody was answering their phone for 30 minutes. I told the guy I want to speak to a manager and told me he is the manager with no sympathy or anything. Just didn't care and no sorry at all and sounded like the blame was on me. My plan got ruined because of their incompetence. I just hope that when the vehicle that you reserved is not available that the website would not let you check in because it's misleading and would put you in a tight situation if you specifically need a bigger vehicle. To the manager who was rude, I hope you get yourself a customer service training. I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND THIS COMPANY!!! Please go somewhere else before they mess you up big time. Worst car rental agency I have ever been to. I booked in advance requesting an intermediate sized sedan (Toyota Corolla or similar). When I arrived, I ended up sitting for 30 minutes waiting for a vehicle that should have been prepped and ready to go. Then when they finally called me, the vehicle they had was a Jeep Cherokee, not an intermediate size sedan. They apologized and told me that if I wanted to wait ten more minutes then they would have more vehicles arriving from another site. I told them that the wait time was already unacceptable and that apologies do not make up for poor service. I ended up having to reschedule service for my personal vehicle (the reason I needed a rental) and will use the nearby Hertz rental instead.So, really poor experience here. I needed to switch my rental from my payment responsibility to that of Ford, as my car was in shop for warranty repairs. He greeted me in a friendly, how can I help you, professional, can do manner. He listened to me and fixed everything in computer, after locating the existing rental car Inhad and Ford's update and confirmed they'd pay for my rental. What a great, positive experience with Gonzalo. I was in and out within a reasonable amount of time and I am 100% satisfied with the service I received today. If I reserve a car through concur as a state employee why would I still have to wait for 40 minutes for the car I reserved. When I arrived to pick up the vehicle, you informed me that you had unilaterally changed the pickup location without any prior notification or contact. The reason and explanation given was simply that the vehicle was not available here, and the system automatically rerouted the reservation to another location. If this is the case, what is the meaning of a "reservation"? Isn't an appointment something that is agreed upon in advance?! Where is the business integrity (or contractual spirit) of your company? Just to start, I rent with Enterprise all the time. My company and personally. I typically love Enterprise because typically they have nicer vehicles and the reservation system is smooth. All that to say, this location is probably the worst at actually having vehicles that were reserved in stock. I reserved a premium truck and wasn't notified until I showed up at my reserved time that there were no trucks available. I was then told I could uber myself to the Power Inn location to see if they may possibly have one available. The pre-check in process still has you wait in the normal line only making it more convenient for them, not the customer. While I was there the first day, I reserved a "guaranteed" truck for the next day and waited almost an hour from when I arrived to when I finally got a vehicle. I did not have a great experience at this location. Expect long wait times when picking up and dropping off your vehicle, and issues with having the correct vehicle in stock for you. Staff are friendly, but too busy to spend much time with you. They'll take your information down and then you sit and wait until a vehicle is finally brought out--and it will be whatever vehicle is ready and available. If you have to hold onto the car for several days, don't count on being able to exchange vehicles at this location or another: after a week, I was never contacted by Enterprise again with any leads on where I could get the SUV that was booked. The car I was given was missing front floor mats and there was a heinous odor, so I had to keep the windows cracked day and night. I just don't think there is enough time between customers to adequately inspect and clean the vehicles. If insurance hadn't forced me to go with Enterprise, I would have gone with any other rental car provider. read more

I've had to rent from this location several times for travel as well as personal reasons and this location has been fantastic! I've had Ken help me get a rental several times, Sam has also helped me with my returns as well as exchanging out a rental that I didn't satisfied with. Trent (my apologies if I didn't get your name right) has helped me with a rental as well as extended my rental over the phone several times due to my car still being in the shop. I've also met the manager once when I was having issues with another Enterprise location (Fruitridge) and he was very friendly and polite also. Unprofessional and unorganized. Employees show no professionalism while customers are waiting in line. There is 1 person working and everyone in the back laughing and making jokes. One employee said out loud "Andrew is in the shitter!" Meanwhile customers are being turned away and waiting in line because the leadership in this office is clearly lacking. I called and made an appointment and was told I'd get me vehicle no issue. Come to find out, as I'm in line to check in. There are absolutely no trucks or anything similar at this location and turns out every other customer was getting the run around. Why was I told on the phone minutes prior to be showing up that there would be a truck waiting for me? This whole place is a joke. They had no vehicles gassed up or washed. Why can i book a reservation on line and then show up to get my vehicle and there isn't one available. More clarity and communication would be nice. You have a bunch of ppl working for you who don't care and it shows. The manager was too scared to come out and speak with me or to issue an apology for this inconvenience. I am livid as I am getting charged without my knowledge. They do advance payment and uses your card to pay advance charges. My insurance is supposed to cover my rental so I should only be charged for added items (liability insurance) but I have been charged OVER $300+ so far for a 10 day period. I absolutely DO NOT recommend this buisness whatsoever. They were not helpful at all. I came from Roseville and was at this buisness for over an hour and a half past my original pickup time. I was not told over the phone that if I didn't use a credit card I would need 3 extra forms of documentation plus my debit card. They provided no help whatsoever with trying to find a resolution and two managers both told me there was no way to work with the two forms of proof of address in addition to my drivers license. That would be 3 forms right? Apparently not but whatever. When I sat down in the lobby for the second time to try and figure out an alternative after not having my car for over week. The woman next to me told me about her terrible experience and how she wouldn't be back either! I told the manager I won't ever be using this location again and I will let other people I know about the experience I had as well and he said "that's okay. have a good day" terrible customer service they just want your money and not to help. Mind you my insurance covered $35 a day and the woman on the phone said they should have cars. When I got there the guy said they only had cars between $50-$67. Mind you I've rented with other enterprise locations before and asked if they could look in their system and use whatever they used last time because my address has not changed and they said no that they don't affiliate with other locations so they couldn't help me. The other location in Citrus Heights was able to help me the previous time with no issues. I was told I needed to go to the Elk Grove location because the insurance only works with a few locations and I told them I came from Roseville and all he did was ask me why. Per the employee inside the locked door, "even 5 mins before we're not renting the car, we're done today, you can come back at 9 am tomorrow". They tried to pass off a compact SUV as a mid size SUV and even online is states it's a subcompact SUV. My mom said she has had this same issue with them before. I am here for the death of one of my sons and now have to make other arrangements for attending my son's funeral. One star is too many for this place of business. No rental car place has ever done this to me without notifying me about a shortage of cars they downgraded my reservation.CX-30 is not a mid size SUV it clearly states it's a subcompact SUV. How is that similar to a mid size when a blind man can see the size difference? My mom pointed out the previous problems she had. By far one of the worst experiences I have dealt with with any business. I rent at least once a month I go in always expecting the worse. If I reserve a rental (7 passenger mini van) it is 100% a hit or miss if they will have it. On 7/21/23 I spoke with manage Emiliano who has the worst customer service for being a manager. I came in for a last minute reservation I made the night before which said they had a mini van available I come in and pick up I clearly see 3-4 mini vans parked and cleaned. He said sorry we don't have any available for me. We had other people reserve way more in advance. I'm like okay whatever at this point I'm just going to go to a different location which I did and receive fantastic service from the Franklin Blvd location. SIX of us were waiting in line for a long time with nobody at the desk to serve us and nobody acknowledging our presence. I went to a back office to tell the lady six of us are waiting in line and there's no one at the desk and she said "we're all busy." Later on a worker apologized and said they don't have enough detailers to get the cars ready...There were people everywhere working hard, but it still left the customers waiting forever. Eventually, the person who helped me directly did a nice job and I give him credit but the company needs to make customer service a priority. At the end, I was told that they're going to send me a customer satisfaction survey ...and that should ONLY reflect the guy who helped me at the end and not my having to wait so long for service or others. I said I just won't fill out the survey. TBH, I think YELP is more honest and effective for the paying customers. read more
