WORST customer service No car was available day-of and they still charged me a no-show fee of $58 and I never signed or got a car and they wouldn't take it off my card, and even after disputing it with my credit card company and I could prove that hertz never gave me a car they made me drag the dispute out after 3 months I just gave up. Enterprise has my business for life now. Sorry-Hertz; I was more than patient. You shouldn't charge customers no-show fees when they are called morning-of by a staff member saying don't come in there are no cars. read more

I had a confirmed reservation for a sedan, but when I arrived, the front desk informed me they had run out of the vehicle I booked. Instead of offering a reasonable solution, they tried to upsell me an SUV--which I couldn't even drive. To make matters worse, they tried to blame me for 'booking too late,' despite my confirmed reservation. I ended up leaving without a car. I arrived to pick up my car rental reservation at 9am and was rudely told they had left me a voicemail stating they did not have the car. Both front desk employees showed zero concern and neither offered an apology. I left there feeling like it was my fault they overbooked reservations and canceled 20 minutes before pick up. Worst customer service ever. Luckily I stopped at Enterprise on the way home and not only did they have a car but also gave me a better rate. I rented from this location a couple of months ago and got there early at 8am as that was the posted opening time as I have a long trip and wanted to get on the road early but the attendant didn't not open up the location until 40 mins late. I decided to give them another change and rented again last month and the car smelled like smoke, very strong, I even had to buy a car air freshener it was so bad, I called to try and exchange the car they said they didn't have another one and offered me only a $15 credit. read more

I had a confirmation for a vehicle which I booked online, but was told my vehicle was not available at the time of pick up and that the only alternative for me was to rent whatever they have available at a much higher rate than what ai was originally confirmed for. The manager was not able to provide any alternative and did not have viable options since "he can't do anything about it..." As big of a company Hertz is, this franchise or branch does not represent the prestige that I thought Hertz had. Definitely not going to rent at Hertz ever! read more

I will never use this location ever again and I'll make sure my family and friends do the same. I wasn't shocked to see all the negative reviews, I was sickened on how badly so many customers were treated! I actually called another Hertz after I got off the phone with this ass-man(using man very loosely he was no man) and she was a great help! She couldn't believe how badly I was treated and said she herself was going to file a complaint with the company. She was also going to call this so called manager and let him know he needs to read over Hertz policy's. Be aware and be forewarned stay away from this Hertz rental. Steer clear from this place!! Very shady and sketchy. Chose this place and out of 3 employees we had an interaction with, only one didn't seem as sketchy as the others. After seeing the reviews of dishonesty surrounding cleaning fees etc, I was very skeptical about this Hertz location. But, I thought, hmmm it can't be that bad right? We're very clean people and I can guarantee you, that rental car will be cleaner than how we got it. So, we return our car after a short weekend trip and all of a sudden, 3 staff(including who appears to be the manager) "smelling" the car because it smelled like "smoke" of some sort. Well, surprise surprise.... WE DON'T SMOKE (nor did we have any other passengers). They tried implying that it smelled like smoke because they certainly couldn't say it was dirty since I disinfected the crap out of that car(because the interior wasn't disinfected when we got it). Lesson learned: I will pay a little extra to pick up our future rentals from the airport. They act all nice but when it comes down to it they are trying to rip you off. The guys at the front desk seems nice but that turned real fast. The people that manage this location really do a disservice to the Hertz name. This place is poorly run. I was told they would have a certain car washed and ready for me to pick up. That simply wasn't true. I was also given a car that had a fender that was clearly damaged and about 3 inches detached from the main body. I was told the car had been washed and to go ahead and drive off with it. When I found the damage I told him I wanted a different car. The next vehicle also had the front fender partially dispatched. I had waited for nearly 45 minutes and had to leave so I took pictures of it. Went j side and told the agent about the damage and asked him to note it. Be extremely careful renting from this place and inspect the car. They will give you a car that is damaged and not say anything to you! read more

If I was able to give them multiple negative stars - I would have. We booked a minivan yesterday evening to pickup a car tomorrow evening and received a confirmation for this reservation. Today, at 2pm this location calls us to tell that they dont have a car available. They agreed it was a system glitch and that the system should not have allowed us to book the car in the 1st place. Chris, the person i was speaking with from this location asked me to call their head office. The call was a waste of time because the customer care simply said there was nothing that they could do. We booked our hotel after confirming the car reservation. Now we are out of a car and out of the money we paid for hotel because that is non-refundable. We are very unhappy and will never book from Hertz ever again!!! I forgot to add - the customer care lady said that "the location at least called to inform you. They did not need to inform you." As if they did a huge favor on us by informing after half of the day had already passed. I fail to understand how they were not supposed to call and inform us if they don't have the car that they confirmed to us??? I had to rent a car when my car was being repaired after an accident. My insurance company suggested two options...Hertz and Enterprise. I opted for Hertz as this location is close to my house. What a mistake! My husband and I arrived there about 10:30 am. We waited to be helped and the fellow who took our information was quite pleasant. The cars he offered under my coverage were a Yaris and a Nissan Versa. Should have taken the Yaris but took the Versa as it seemed more the size of my Prius. The car was quite dirty and we were told it had to be "prepped" before we could drive away. So far, so good. And, that's where it ended. We were subjected to some very high pressure salesmanship to buy the $9 a day collision insurance. In fact, it got so bad it was insulting. We were told that we better "drive carefully" because without this extra insurance we could be liable for our $1,000 deductible. I pointed out some dents in the bumper and was told it cost the renter $300. Ok...the person had been warned. Hertz collected the money but the repairs weren't made. In fact, he told me they don't repair the cars till they are ready to sell them. If that's the case, how much do they collect for dents and scrapes before they repair a car? We waited more than 20 minutes for the car to be washed and when it arrived it was still wet...and looked like it had been hosed off. Obviously, no one had even made an attempt to dry the car. The inside was ok but the gas tank was only 1/4 full. I went back inside to make sure that this was noted as I had no intention of bringing back a car with a full tank if I didn't get it that way when I left the lot. I was told that I could protect myself from bringing back the car and having them charge me $5.98 a gallon to bring it back to the level of rental by paying $3.98 a gallon to have them fill it up before I left. Oh...by the way...if you choose this option you do not get a refund if you don't use up all the gas. Giving a customer a car with almost no gas is not what I call "customer friendly". Rather, it is inconvenient for the customer as the first thing one must do is put gas in the car. I opted to put in just enough to make sure that returned the car with the gas at the 1/4 level. Whatever happened to putting the customer's needs first? Finally, a very nice man named Daniel apologized to us for the long wait to get the car (we kept asking "where is the car" and I guess he was told we weren't happy about the wait). He said he would "make it up to us" when we returned the car. I don't know what he could do to make it up to us as the rental was covered by insurance. His offer was irrelevant, though, because he was not there when I brought the car back to the lot. read more

I needed a rental while my car was in the shop. I called them, they said, 'Thank you for calling please hold'. After 16 minutes of waiting I called back & they were like, 'oh we definitely have cars, we close at 6pm, just come in & we'll help you out'. I showed up, there was 4 workers, all helping customers, walking in/out of the office getting mileage, handing off keys to customers, etc. No wonder I was on hold forever. I dealt with Cameron, a young guy who got me situated. The insurance company had only given me x amount of dollars for a daily rental, however, he asked what kind of car I normally drive & called the insurance company & requested a higher dollar amount as it was comparable to my daily car, the insurance agreed. Yes, thank you Cameron! I got the keys & Caleb, another young guy did a quick walk through with me. I signed off on dents/scratches & was on my way. I will also mention that their driver, Marc, picked me up to take me here - he was very nice, talkative, and just a pleasure to be around! I returned the car 5 days later once my regular car was out of the shop - I waited a while again to be helped, it's just a busy office, no biggie. Lauren, the manager, was super gracious - it was a scorcher on this day & she offered to turn their makeshift AC toward me, being that I am super pregnant at the moment. Lauren took myself & another waiting customer back to our destinations & she insisted on carrying my bulky toddler seat out for me. Their customer service is great, but again, just a busy office - don't get discouraged! Thank you Hertz for taking care of me while my car was getting repaired! read more
