We had our car in the body shop for nearly two weeks and fortunately this Enterprise location was in close proximity. The end to end rental process was world class thanks to a highly organized team starting with Ruby the manager who picked me up in their shuttle at the body shop. Once we arrived, Karen another manager assisted me directly w/ my rental and insurance requirements. Fortunate to score their Genesis G70 sedan at a great discount thanks to the insurance coverage. Almost a month after I had rented a car (through Geico) from this location I received an anonymous charge on my own credit card for $11. It turns out that Fastrak read the Enterprise car's license and even though I was using MY OWN registered Fastrak transponder, I was double billed for the very same trip. Fastrak told me that they erase all transactions after 48 hours so they could not help. The manager of this Enterprise location promised me in writing that she would take care of this and refund the money to me. Another month later she had someone else write to me that they NEVER refund charges. She made a lot of money on the rental of a Toyota Camry for nearly two weeks because she charged Geico a very high rate claiming the Camry was a premium luxury car. So you would think that she could find the $11 herself to refund me. Instead she ignored me. read more

Zero stars I made a reservation for a 15 passenger van 2 weeks ago for pick up at 10am and we called to let them know that we would be 2 hours late and the Manager Daniel said that he didn't have any available and that he has been trying to get in touch with us to let us know but we didn't answer and when we checked our phones nobody had a missed call and he couldn't even give us the phone number he called because he said that Enterprise policy is if the customer doesn't show up an hour after the reserved time they cancel the reservation without calling the customer! Very appalling and full of crap he didn't even try to work with us and the worst part it still shows that they have 15 passenger vans available. Worst customer service experience ever! This Enterprise location has given me nothing but positive experiences. Unfortunately I have had multiple issues with my personal car this year so GEICO referred this location to me while it was in the shop. Both times I needed a rental it was a quick and convenient pick up and drop off. They even provided a shuttle to and from the shop where my car was being worked on. Long overdue review but this is by far the best location in the area (out of 6 Ive been to). I has a great experience at the Montgomery branch where my insurance referred me a few years ago when my car was being repaired. So i decided to use Enterprise again and this location was closest to me. Ive been an enterprise plus member since covid so i enjoy the perks of racking up points for free rentals. With their seller well deserved yelp reviews, they were out of rentals for the handful of times i needed. That allowed me to give other locations a try. Sunnyvale- manager was terrible. Ive seen her deny a man because his card was "too dirty" Stevens Creek also terrible management De la cruz, Montgomery and Curtner were great. Anthony was definitely awesome as many have mentioned. He happened to be the only one there so i had the pleasure of working with him. However, Im not sure who the manager is now because everyone ive worked with has been stellar. Ive needed to extend last minute and they were more than understanding. I know that probably messes up their expected inventory but they are all super laid back. I truly appreciate everyone here for making life life easier! Im going to find out what his name is again (will update with name) but here's an example: my rental was due for a return and i needed a bigger car last minute but they were sold out. It was 4:30 and after returning the rental here, i had to make it to De La Cruz location before 5pm. He was busy with another customer but saw that i was in a rush and asked me if he could help. He told me to hand him keys and i could leave so i can make it ok time. He promised to close me out as soon as he was done with the other customer so that the $200 deposit is released to my card which i would be able to use for the rental at the de la cruz location. He did just that and within 10 min the $200 was in my account! read more

Worst rental car location I have ever come across. We were dealing with Daniel. He had to switch the car out for us 4 times. Each one of them had an issue- oil light on, rattling of engine, low tire pressure. Then he claims that they do a thorough inspection on each car. That's a lie! Today I am dropping off the car and I have to wait 30 minutes to get a ride home because he has to wash cars and his employee had to get to a train station. How is that my problem? He has other people working in this office but none of them are able to give me a ride home. Enterprise has lost me as a customer all due to the poor experience at this location. I am deeply troubled with my experience with car rental company, Enterprise and wish to share my experience with you. On Wednesday morning, December 2, 2020 I was involved in a car accident. My insurance company was incredible and cooperative as they fully paid for a rental car for my convenience while my car was (and is currently) in the auto body shop. When Enterprise brought me the car, I was shocked and surprised that they would rent a car in the condition it was in to a client as it smelt like smoke and appeared to be not cleaned well. And in this COVID environment made me very concerned. Still traumatized from the accident I drove the car Enterprise provided me, home. I made one very brief stop get my mother's birthday cake. After that I immediately drove home. The following day, I did not drive the rental car anywhere due to the awful cigarette smell and drove my sister's car instead. (Although, it took me about an hour to have the confidence to drive and to stop crying because I was so terrified to drive again). Enterprise was kind enough to replace their smelly rental car with a nicer one. As I returned the original car for the replacement they noted that slight three-inch dent was made over the fender. I didn't even put 10 miles on the car and did not come anywhere near another vehicle. I did not hit anything. I even have a witness with me the entire time. When Enterprise told me about this dent, again I broke down in tears. I barely drove the car and I am so terrified of driving now. And now have yet another damage cost that the previous Enterprise employee did not report. Two things: Firstly, ALWAYS double-check the review form when inspecting the car and dispute EVERYTHING and have it notarized. Secondly, I would never ever recommend anyone to rent from Enterprise as this small door ding was hardly noticed by me or the anyone at Enterprise until I returned the vehicle. Came by a few weeks ago for an insurance replacement and awkwardly enough, my vehicle was ready upon arrival... As the management trainee attempted to upsell me to a larger vehicle to which he later found out had a TPMS issue, it almost became an awkward situation until someone returned a full size vehicle and the agent "upgraded" me to a full-size vehicle. The vehicle was clean enough and the car came with a full tank of gas. When I returned the car, they arranged a driver to drop me off at my car too! read more

Enterprise Rent A Car in particular this Campbell location and their west coast corporate staff are inferior customer experience and customer care. I would not be surprised if their customer churn rate is high, thus their loyalty has diminished. Brandon Tirado is extremely rude, unhelpful and refused to assist or provide any help. Made a reservation one week in advance for full size vehicle they put me in Toyota rav 4????? not even close????

From the pickup at the very beginning to the desk agent that helped me find a car. Everything was fantastic. It was a wonderful rental car with the latest updates. Car was very clean and mechanically sound. Unlike my recent Turo experience. It was ski week so the minivans were all booked up but they still got me into a Ford explorer which more than compensated for the van that I usually have. Wonderful staff make a great experience. This review is bad because I feel like I got ripped off - unfortunately! I was under the impression I was paying the required $16/ day for car insurance ! My bill was $190 for 11 days ! I called the insurance lady and she told me why did I get this extra insurance when I already have car insurance ? Come to find it was actually an unnecessary damage waiver that is not covered by my insurance company ! That's when I realized I got ripped off ! I have never had such a bad experience with any car rental place until now. When I called to rent a car they tell me they do nor have any available vehicles.  I asked when they would due to the fact I am putting my cat in the shop. They told me to call back in 2 days so I do and make an appointment to come in and get a car upon arriving they only have 2 cars. I puck one the guy goes in to get the key comes back says I can not rent you that car it needs to be serviced. (Why is the car out here to rent) the other car I did not want due to it costing more and takes more gas. The time my car is in the shop the insurance company is paying fir the rental but they keep calling me for payment instead of the insurance company to extend the rental. Once the length of time the insurance company is paying for rental they call telling me I need to pay or give the car back. I am stating to them I do not know how long I will need the car so how can I pay.  They wanted to go back and forth. I have never had such a bad experience. read more

Needed a rental after having to put a car in the shop for a repair (thanks for leaving a note Derek, you're a solid human being, your insurance company, Progressive, however, is an incompetent, worthless organization). Everybody from the manager on down was friendly, helpful and focused on me having a great rental experience. Specifically, I would like to call out Marcia for exceptional customer service. She personally took ownership (and took care) of the issue I was having with Progressive (there were many, including here, that Progressive wanted to put my wife into an mid-sized car when she drives an SUV). Marcia got us into an SUV day one and alleviated many headaches - a stark contrast from Progressive who seemed to want to introduce headaches at every step of this process. I almost always exclusively rent from Enterprise except when they aren't available in the area or location - and when I didn't I regretted it. Like when I rented from Hertz in Wilmington, NC and they charged me (twice, two separate occasions) for not bringing the car back full when I, in fact, returned a car full of gas. Enterprise. I can't express the disappointment that I have in Enterprise right now. I'm frankly pissed as a loyal customer. So I booked a rental 2 months ago to see my daughter for Fathers Day weekend. This would be the first time I spent a Fathers Day with my daughter in 7 years not to mention this would be the first time I was going to meet my newborn granddaughter. As you can expect we were elated for the weekend that's to come. As a new grandfather for the 2nd time you can imagine the anticipation that was building. So moving forward I called Enterprise on Thursday a day before we were set to go on this long road trip. I called to make sure everything was in order. Upon calling them they greeted me as they usually do and had CONFIRMED that I indeed had a reservation set. After being on hold for a minute they came back and told me that they had cancelled my reservation because the U.S. Open was that weekend and they had no cars available due to that event. I questioned why would they would cancel a reservation and was told they called me the night before to notify me as that was even enough time for me to make other arrangements. So in a mad scramble and mad as hell I search for another rental online and everywhere I looked had nothing available. Which leads me to believe there was a number of us that got stiffed due to a golf tournament. A golf tournament that's annual but held precedence over a loyal Enterprise customer seeing his granddaughter for the very first time and his daughter in over 6 years. It's insulting to me because having a great track record with Enterprise my loyalty meant nothing when it counted. So sitting here Monday and thinking of the weekend that could've been, I'm trying to see when I can make this trip happen that works for not only my schedule but my wife's, my daughters and her fiancés. This was a small window that is going to be daunting make happen any time soon. If Enterprise can't "Right" their wrong I will have no reservations about moving on to another rental service. I know I am only one customer but someone has to say something on this. BTW! I do have a car but it was being serviced over the weekend hence the planning ahead of time. read more

The customer service I've received here has definitely stood out from other car rental companies I've used in the past. I've now rented from this location twice, and the most recent time (last week) was just as friendly and efficient as the first in Feb 2019. I reserved the rental through Costco Travel about a month out. Picked up our rental (it was for an intermediate car which ended up being a compact SUV so that was nice!) with Liz who checked me in and and had me driving off in less than 20 min. There were placards/laminated signs in the car indicating that it had been disinfected per Covid regulations, and even an extra Clorox individually-wrapped disinfecting wipe in the cup holder in case you wanted to wipe down high touch points in the car again. Even returning the car was a breeze with Samantha! Both employees were friendly, answered my questions and were just overall very pleasant! Will use this Enterprise again in the future when needing a rental car. read more
