I always have amazing experiences here. I use them three times a year or maybe four ...every single time. Without fail. They stay busy on the weekend so be prepared sometimes for a little tiny weight, but they move quickly One of the last businesses it seems to understand actual customer service. I'm Gen X. I know I may sound like a boomer, but they actually understand customer service here at this branch. They are so easy to work with. I just returned a Ford bronco to them that I used to drive to SoCal and experience was just five stars all the way. I needed a rental car as my car was being worked on with Caliber Collisions. My insurance made all the arrangements for me. I was to drop off my car at Caliber, who would then contact Enterprise to pick me up and take me to their location to pick up a rental car. Unfortunately, Enterprise never picked up the call so Caliber had their driver drop me off at Enterprise. There was a line of people waiting to pick up a car. By the time it was my turn, the car size that I was supposed to get were all out. Instead I was given an SUV, and was given a discount and charged the original price of the car I was supposed to receive. Overall time took 30 minutes. When I returned the car, the process was faster and the person who helped me was professional and tried to make my experience a good one. To rent with reservations, it took us 45 min to get the car. There are 7 parties ahead of us and they seem to be short staff. There were 3 associates for the whole building. To return the car, There are 6 parties ahead. it took us 30 min to clear off (without any car damage, gas & any other issue). Staff are friendly, but Enterprise needs to hire more staff with busy customers. Same situation with short staff. I feel sorry for the staff who work too hard. read more

I had to get a car from here while mine was in the shop and I couldn't have had a better experience. Adrian was checking customers in, and I'm not sure I've ever seen someone multi-task quite like he did. Each customer was warmly greeted, myself included, and while helping us he deftly directed the other staff members to wash cars, or get cars ready. He churned through at least 10 customers in the 15 minutes I was there, it was amazing efficiency and service. When I brought the car back I got to work with Adrian again, and had another great experience. I was checked out within 2 minutes, and he had Matt drive me to the dealership. I have been to this location a few times, however; this last time left me never wanting to come back. My car had a recall service being done at the dealer and they sent me here to get a rental while my car was getting repaired. Unfortunately I was helped by Victoria, who was rude and rushing us every step of the way. She didn't clean the car she gave us properly as she said she knows I am probably in a rush. I ended up getting a car that smelt like vomit and had to drive with the windows rolled down for the week I had the rental. I have honestly never experienced such poor customer service until this moment. I will avoid this location as much as I possibly can in the future. read more

Mario in the front desk is a tool, and needs to learn how to speak to customers, I don't appreciate the passive aggressive tone. Not to mention having to wait for 45mins for a car rental. They are quick to get ur card info and license but nothing else. I wished I knew what type of customer care I would've received, I would've just gone somewhere else, but of course, they got all my info now...So I'm stuck waiting. Hardly ever take the time to write reviews, however, I have to commend this location for the high customer service and friendly, welcoming staff. We got there towards the end of the day to rent a car, and from the desk receptionist to the gentleman that helped us with the car, Ryan, service was exceptional. I rented a car with enterprise through my insurance. I've gone to multiple companies and branches in the past but the enterprise on pearl makes any renting experience great. The customer service at this branch goes above any beyond. Everyone is so helpful and they can be seeing customers back to back but their service never falters. I've talked to many of their employees on the phone and in person a really nice young lady and a blonde guy who I think is a manager. EVERYONE IS SO NICE! Recently I rented a car from this location which is close to my house. The staff are very friendly, the prices are good.

I am currently being billed for damag to a car that was all noted on my rental agreemen! That is fraud to try and get my insurance company to pay for it or the credit card company I used to put the deposit on! I have received the invoice and will now have to get my credit and insurance involved on this. But I will bill you for every hour i spend all the emot di that comes with this process I have to deal with something I don't have time for any of this and I will fight it anyway because I'm not going t let my business relationships pay for something I didn't do, you can not file false reports and get paid. nope never rent out a vehicle from this sad place that lies cheats and steal from its patron! read more

She is HANDS DOWN the BEST person I've ever dealt with at ANY Enterprise location! She was super friendly, had great customer service and was all about making a great impression. Enterprise Rent-A -Car this is a car rental place which is located in San Jose ,CA off of Pearl Ave. This location is a bit of a smaller branch but very easy to find locate on roadways. I have priorly rented a vehicle of this Enterprise location due to a car accident that had happen to my prior vehicle which is of a silver Honda Oddysey Van in 2021. My Enterprise rent a car was to easy since my insurance had covered for as my vehicle had been totaled undriveable as to this point I had selected of my own new vehicle of self choice pick. During this process insurance had covered part and the remaining been self" paid". Vehicles were easy to select as during this at this specific time frame of when I had rented of Enterprise of this dealership I had been accompanied once of this rental car I had prefer a Nissan, but the person that had been present had wanted to select a Toyota Camery which had been of white color four door sedan. Vehicle was fully loaded drive able and had been able to drive out of town into areas of nearby beach for personal outing, vehicle during rental usages is of a non smoking non drug usage inside vehicle, and had been returned as self not having another person accompanied of me during this point of time. I had been driver during this time of this rental of vehicle only. As any type interactions to Enterprise customer service representives in office, email or phone had been primarily communicative in English only. As mention this rental was covered part of insurance due to accident that ok place in San Jose. As any prior California Driver License that had been applied for and receiving of having past prior old residence address listed as I had not been residence of those locations since 2019 as I have not any type of part take of the current activity's that goes about per the current listed occupancy residence in those homes. I do not personally know who they are, or have any part take any any culture traditions so based. As I Christina do not ask request or want any type of activity partisipation of my personal travel, daily routine, court processings, or privacy of relationships, or parenting of my children. Enterprise of this location off Peal Ave is kind, friendly, and attentive to provide customer care quick fast and easy service. No hassle, no issues or concerns at the point of time. Representative is well spoken. Lobby is open spacious with seating. Lot area is a bit smaller then other office site locations, but has just of a good team here. Long wait line to complete the paperwork and then they tell you the cars are not ready and to sit and wait in the smelly waiting area. When asked how long the wait is, 15-20 minutes. Total wait time was well over an hour. The woman who did the walkthrough for the car was very snippy with her delivery of information. When I mentioned an error regarding the voucher from Toyota for the vehicle she smacked her lips and said it didn't work that way. The car smelled like toilet bowl cleaner. I decided to not get a car from them. And I don't recommend this rental location. read more

They offer free pickup and drop off if you live within 10 miles! Really friendly staff and easy pick up and drop off. I had a car for a month due to an insurance claim. It was very easy to extend the rental as needed. The car was clean, and they did not press hard trying to upsell me on the extra insurance rates. 05/15 I'll try to make this as brief as possible. I rented a car to drive back home (2 1/2hr drive). Now when I called to make the reservation I specifically told them one way, I was already on my way there. 2 minutes after I get off the phone I walk in, they verify who I am and tell me they will be right with me. They helped 2 more people in front of me and then assisted me. Now we went over the one way trip again, I said I didn't want the insurance but that I would prepay for gas cuz I was tired and didn't want to be bothered. The car had plenty of scratches and scuff marks but she assured me (as I pointed them out) that they were all listed and no reason to worry. We review the contract but I don't see the the very beginning of the contract (cuz they use those pads now) so far all looks good. I stay the night at the hotel and get on the road the next day, now nothing has happened to the car. I get home, go to drop the car off at the Enterprise near my house and the guy looks at the bak of the car and then goes straight to the roof of the car and says there is a dent. I look and go ok but there's no dust that has been moved since I didn't wash the car and there's no finger prints to show that I've done anything to the car. They want me to drive the car all the way back to San Jose for them to look at the car or they were going to claim the damage on my insurance. I left and drove to the Fresno Airport office (much more reasonable) I told them of the discussion I had with the Fresno Tower Enterprise and the San Jose Pearl office Enterprise. I asked that they not bring up the account but to look at the car in the general idea where I was told there was damage and tell me if they saw anything (fresh eyes and all). The agent told me she didn't see anything. I asked that she put the car into a different light to make sure cuz I didn't want to get a letter weeks later stating that there was damage done to the car. The Fresno Airport agent told me she didn't see anything in the account about the damage, and that she was closing out the account and for me not to worry. Not sure what was going on other than Pearl Office wanted the car back and the tower office, well I don't know what their problem was. These people definitely need to be watched. Take pictures or a video of your rental before leaving. Enterprise has always been my go to and has gotten me out of a few jams but the stress that they put me through about this rental return was totally uncalled for and deliberate on their part. What their intention was I have no idea but my intention is to inform people of the shadiness I experience from both the Pearl office in San Jose and the Fresno Tower district office. It's a tuesday not sure why it was so busy but i understand that they had a bit of a rush when we first arrived and during the whole time of us waiting. We were here for about 2+ hours waiting to get a rental car because we had to take our car to get something fixed over at hyundai and everyone there before us and after us was getting attended. Just watching people come and go. Very upsetting not sure what the hold up was for us but very exhausting waiting. update : they just called us from hyundai saying our car was ready so we wasted our entire day waiting for a rental only to just return it 30 min after getting it. fun ! read more

Let's start with how amazingly friendly and helpful EVERY person I interacted with. The first time I came, it was busy and the service was very efficient. They were hustling and so helpful in finding me the right car for my 5'1" self. I did have to come back for windshield fluid and they were even MORE busy but again, so nice and apologetic for the inconvenience. As I waited for my turn, I saw everyone being taken care of with great customer service and a smile. Sure there's a wait time (you should build that in your pick up time), and this is a smaller location with a tight parking lot, but I would honestly still come here anytime I need a rental. Return process was easy and I even got a ride home. Great team work and good old fashion customer service. Highly recommend. I had my car for 17 days and it was great. read more

Best rental experience I've ever had! Ended up here while my car was getting serviced near by fully anticipating the usual bs from other rental places. Not the case At All. The shuttle driver Celeste, a combat vet, went out of his way for me. Not to mention he's just a cool down to earth guy. I was greeted immediately upon entering by Jose, the branch manager. Jose should be nicknamed the octopus because I watched him handle no less than 3 things at once at any time with both hands full and a shoulder keeping a phone to his ear. I was processed and put into a car within 30 minutes by Andy, the assistant manager. This guy was a close shadow to Jose keeping pace with him and executing perfectly with shorthand direction. He too had a fun professional demeanor in everything he did. Most rental places are a lot like the DMV. It takes way too long, everyone is standoffish, the phones ring unanswered the whole time, and you end up spending more money than you planned to. Not here. This place is so well run it was actually a pleasure to do business. And with a staff on hand like Jose, Andy and Celeste it's easy to see why. I will be using this location EXCLUSIVELY for all future bay area rental needs. No question. read more

Would give 0 stars if I could. This location is an ugly sore on the nearby neighborhood. They're constantly parking their overflow vehicles in the neighborhood like it's a commercial parking lot. Lining the street with their cars and car carrier creates a hazard for those that live there. Multiple complaints and they continue to put people's lives at risk. I had set up a car through an affiliation with body shop during selected a car that would be within my daily amount covered by insurance. when I arrived at Enterprise, I was told that they only had 1 car within that category. it happened to be an electric car that needed to be charged and had 2 miles remaining in thw charge The car did not have a home charge cable which was not acceptable. I was offered another car which I would than have to pay out of pocket. I was not happy with this situation and was finally, after insisting , was given a car for the same rate as I had originally reserved. Anyone wondering why it takes so long to get your rental car, the answer is that they use the neighborhood down the street to park all the cars. People are constantly running over to move vehicles and add different ones. They are using our residential neighborhood to operate their business. I've spoken to them before, asking if at the very least they can stop parking all the cars around the curves of our court, making it unsafe to exit and enter. The guy promised they would stop using our court, then continued to. Over 40 cars at any given time up and down our entire neighborhood. Multiple warnings placed on the vehicles from the city, yet it doesn't stop. Please help and Boycott this location. read more

Walked into this location on a Friday with low hopes of securing an 8 passenger rental. Another car rental nearby canceled my reservation 20 minutes before pickup time sending us into a scramble. There were about 4-5 people in line. I was in and out in less than 30 minutes! Not only did they have a car for me but even the rate was better. Jose P has some of the best customer service I've ever received! He acknowledged me and my concern right away and let me know someone would assist me soon. He was kind and knowledgeable. I wish I remembered the name of the gentleman who helped me to the vehicle. He went over some of the features and made sure I was comfortable. He even showed me a secret compartment I could hide my snacks in, away from the kids. Overall, it was a great experience and I would definitely rent from this location again. read more
