I was here Saturday and traded in a car for a new one. My husband and I were very happy. We got a great deal we were happy with, everyone was nice the sales man didn't feel like a shark who wanted to eat us. The only thing we did notice the next day was that the sunroof on the new car did not open and we never noticed and they never told us anything. I doubt they didn't know a car they were selling had a non operational sunroof. LIARS! The worst stereotypes of used car dealers, in the flesh. I Purchased a used BMW from H Greg Doral on June tenth. I raised some concerns that I wanted them to address (missing radio antenna, only one key) and they refused saying they focused on making sure the cars were mechanically sound. They also assured me of their three day 300 mile warranty and if I had any problems I could bring the car back. On Thursday the 11th I took the car to the dealer that had maintained my previous vehicle. Before I could even leave the dealership the tech came running out and should be pictures of the two front tires which were worn completely through the cord and could easily have caused an accident. On further investigation we discovered the left lower control arm was bent. HGreg had this vehicle for over a year, so both defects were certainly known by them but not disclosed. After repeated calls I finally talked to my sales person who told me that the three day warranty did not apply to my car and they would do nothing to rectify the situation. And I'm sure somewhere in all the papers I had to sign is some legalese that backs them up. Regardless of the law it is morally reprehensible to let a car out on the road in that condition. I just purchased a car in finance yesterday, and finance specialist cheated me 2000$ I don't recommend this store, because they are cheating. How is that happed. On the beginning they said that with my credit score of 730 I have 6.9 APR, that is very high. I was asking if they can do anything better, he said I can do 2000$ Down payment and they do 5.9. I bought a car on December 23, 2017. A month has passed and the car I traded in has not been paid off. They are reporting late payments and another payment is now due on the 29th. I call the financing guy, I text him, I leave voicemail's no answer. I call the main number and get transferred around from voicemail to voicemail without speaking to anyone! Receptionist says she's not in the main room so can't even tell me who's there. Today I send an email to the "Reviews" general e-mail and I received a standard sorry response and a text message from the financing guy at 11:21 a.m. stating "Ill check on it for you" its now 5 hours later and nothing. Two weeks after driving off the lot 2 engine lights came on, the ABS and ESC. I go to my local Jeep dealer and there is no record of my warranty with the company I have paperwork for. I visited the HGreg Doral location with a list of cars that I wanted to see. I am the type to research beforehand what I want and what a dealership has in stock so I don't waste my time or the salesman's time. I spoke with Alberta and gave her the stock number of the cars I was interested in seeing and test driving. Out of the 9 cars I had wanted to see, I started out with 4. They didn't have one available, so I saw 3 and test drove 2. All while I am looking at these cars, Alberta is away from me and on her phone. I glanced over at some point and saw her taking selfies. I didn't really mind that she was on her phone, I was more interested in looking at the cars. Eventually she starts talking to someone on the phone. She's having a full-blown conversation as I bring her back a key. She continued to talk on the phone as I checked another car. I brought her the key and she hung up after about a minute or so and asked me if I needed anything else. I told her I wanted to test drive two of the three that I have seen. We immediately hopped into a Honda where I drove it around the block twice, testing the regular driving feature as well as the sport and economic features to see how they differ in performance. We come back to the dealer, and we switch over to a Mazda. Again, I drive it around the block twice, testing both the regular drive and sport options. This time while I am driving the Mazda, she was sitting in the backseat on the phone again, talking to a friend. When I told her I was going for the 2nd lap she said, "I hope you think about buying a car today with how much you're driving." I chuckle and brush it off as I continue doing the lap, all the while she continues to talk on the phone. I didn't really think much of any of it until we made it back to the lot and I parked the Mazda I was driving. She asked if I needed anything else and I looked at my handwritten list of cars I wanted to see and Alberta said, "May I recommend something to you?" and I said sure. She takes my list and my pen and writes "Don't do it". I'm confused as to what she meant, and she clarifies "don't show up to a car dealership with a list of cars like this because the salespeople know that you do not plan on buying a car today and they will not want to help you because of it." I was even more confused at that point, and now it makes sense as to why she was distant from me since the beginning and wasting time on her phone, because obviously she didn't want to help me. I tell her "Of course, I'm not buying anything today because I need to look at my options." She continues to tell me that no one will help me because of this. She apparently speaks for all the associates and salespeople there when she says this. Having worked in customer service jobs and retail, employees and salespeople with Albertas attitude will guarantee their chances of making a sale drop from 50% to 0%. If you are an employee in a company or a store, you are expected to perform your job, no matter what. If you worked in a retail store that sells clothing and a customer comes into your store and you ask if they need help to which they respond, "No I'm just browsing", then it is still your job to help them with anything they need after the fact, even if they want to try on some outfits and leave the store empty handed. Once Alberta made it clear that she didn't want to help me, despite her asking if I needed anything else, and clarifying that literally no one else would be willing to help me because of my list, I decided it was best I left. I do not trust this company!! They are similar to the old days of car buying. But they want too much personal information before even talking numbers. I waited around for 3hrs and saw no numbers! They wanted my (in order) insurance info, work history, living history, credit check (which is understandable), social security number, pay stubs, a W-2, and god what else before hearing any numbers! They gave me a Carfax (which I could view online, so I didn't need it), and showed me the price of my trade-in and the price of they're car. But yet no numbers were shown on paper or interest rates or anything else. They just make you sign up for a text system to let you know when they are ready. After three hours of waiting and them constantly asking for more and more personal information. I got very little info for my trouble and felt more and more uneasy about the whole process! The worst is they won't let you fax anything or send it to the creditors themselves! They want you to send this personal info via email or txt to Joe Shmoe, and god only knows what they will do with that info!! Thankfully I stopped giving them my personal info until I got some numbers. And they would only tell me verbally. No thank you!! I got my keys and said no thank you and left. I don't trust this company, those who came in and gave them anything personal, might want to check and see if any of they're info wasn't stollen or used for illegal practice! This review may get lengthy but if I could give them no stars, that's what is deserved.. I bought an SUV off of them a few months back. From the day that I signed off on the car to the day that I went to go pick it up and take it home (had to wait for insurance to be placed on it etc- it was the end of the business day and so I had to come back for it. I of course didn't notice it initially but they had swapped out the tires on it for (4) dry rotted tires in which (1) actually popped WHILE I WAS DRIVING! I took it back to them and they apologized and said that they'd put on (4) brand new tires but that something was wrong with the machine that they'd use to place the rims inside the tires and that I'd have to leave the vehicle there. SEVEN DAYS went by and after calling several times per day I finally got them to do it and release my vehicle (they made every excuse in the book as to why it couldn't be done). The truth of the matter is, they already had my money so why prioritize my vehicle over someone who still needed to pay them? As if this wasn't bad enough, the check engine light came on the other day and I took it to a trusted mechanic. Without going into specifics as to what is wrong with it, the "clean titled" vehicle I bought that they said was never in any accident was indeed in a MAJOR accident in the past. Essentially, where the engine sits inside the vehicle is structurally deformed from a previous head on accident.. they clearly took the time to aesthetically fix the SUV prior to placing it on the sales floor but didn't do anything about the fact that the engine was essentially caved in on some parts and driving on it for a couple months caused it to wear and tear in parts that don't normally wear and tear... To repair everything that's wrong with it would cost half the vehicles purchased value! I went to hGreg and they deny selling it to me like that and insisted that I got into an accident and fixed the bumper before going to "complain to them" about this in an "attempt to get them to repair it for free". I had the WORST experience at this dealership. I went in 3 separate times and was told something different every time. Many issues including once the car was purchased one of their employees hit the side of my car with another car for sale. The employee that brought me the car said "I didn't even have to tell you the car was hit - the dent is small". The third time I went to the dealership I was texted saying that 3k down would be fine and the car was ready and when I get in they told me that no it was just to hold the car.. so then I get upset and wait and 20mins later they were like no you can leave with the car today in the next 20 minutes. I didn't leave for another few hours because of miscommunication among the employees. Their computers were either not working or super slow. I was told my insurance would be fine with USAA but they wouldn't let me drive off the lot until I bought insurance through them with geico just to cancel it the next day. They changed the agreement multiple times even though I came in approved for a loan already. The salesman and I agreed on one thing only for the finance manager to change it the minute I finally was seen. I finally drive off the lot after having a multitude of issues and miscommunication among staff. I drive off the lot and the minute I do my tire pressure light went on and I go to check and the cap wasn't even on one of the tires. Also my tank was on E when I drove off the lot. Turns out the car I wanted was back in Doral but was unavailable and they would call me when it was ready. Day THREE of me trying to purchase a car, I get a call at 8 in the morning that the car was good to go. So, after work in Miami traffic we head back to Doral and go to look at the car at 5:30pm, THE CAR WOULD NOT TURN ON. This was a 2019 Toyota RAV4, way too new a car to have major issues. They had us go all the way to Doral and in the NINE hours between when they called me and when I got there no one thought to check the car and make sure it was actually ready for sale. The manager "quickly" took to action but we still left with no car. Not once did anyone apologize for the inconvenience, but rather they assured me that I wouldn't be able to find as good a deal on a car anywhere else. That night I received a text that the car issue was fixed and we could go in to get it the next day. DAY FOUR, my husband takes off of work and comes with me to pick up the car, everything looks great. He asks to check a few things in the car (he has experience fixing cars) and they assure us that they did all the checks and would give us the paper work. AFTER FOUR HOURS THERE of signing the paperwork to purchase the car and getting the financing through, we're ready to take the car and then *drumroll please* they tell us that there's an electrical issue with the wipers and they don't work! And our salesman has the audacity to tell me "well you can take it and bring it back." UMMMM HELLO. THIS IS MIAMI, FLORIDA WHERE IT RAINS WITHOUT WARNING. This is my experience: a. After I inspected the car by the car maker, I found out that the car was fixed after an accident. They told me that never been hit!. b. They told me that we can close the deal in 30 minutes and it took more than 1 hour. c. When doing the contract, and despite my instructions they added to additional guarantees (one of them not necessary by law, which they claim it was the law and the request of the financing bank). the system also did not took my cash payment. in order to avoid delays, they issue a credit for the reimbursement of my cash payment and the guarantees that I did not wanted to purchase. The credit was going to be in my account in 4 weeks. d. When I went to pick up the car the next day the car was broken and needed to be fixed. it took one week until the parts arrived. e. One week later, when I went to pick up the car, they could not find the plates (that I already paid). They have to issue new ones. f. Today is 4/27 and I'm still waiting the credit to my bank account for the reimbursement as per c. g. I strongly recommend stay away from this dealership. After doing some research on their website, we decided to go see a couple of cars they had listed. When we got to the lot, we were able to wander around the cars and check them out (they were unlocked) without anyone approaching us which I thought was nice. From the 4-5 cars we wanted to see, we were able to eliminate some due to things like a smokers car or other issues. When we got it to two we wanted to see, we went inside. You have to check in to be assigned a sales rep so we did and we were introduced to our rep who introduced us to their sales process. Interestingly, the carfax for each car we looked at on their website showed some kind of damage. The sales manager told us later that this happens when they buy cars from the auction. After determining the carfax reports weren't deal breakers on the 2 we wanted to see, Dairo got the keys and we went back out to the cars. One car had a dead battery (It's happens - not a deal breaker - just means a new battery before buying). A jump start got the car running but could quickly hear the power steering pump complaining. Took it for a test drive anyhow and confirmed power steering issues. One down, one left. Got into the last car and the test went well. Well enough that we decided to move forward at the price listed. Even though our trade was a common model, the sales manager didn't know what it was when we gave them the brand and model. These aren't car people - they are order takers. They know the buzz words to say to shoppers ("oh look, a sun roof" or" nice color" or "that's a big trunk") They added a $900 "service fee" to the car and a $400 registration fee (because they will go to the DMV so we don't have to - for $400 I would go myself). They claim they are a wholesale dealer unlike CarMax and their prices are less - until you add in their mandatory fees which brings their prices equal to Carmax. So off to finance. We were financing and although came with a pre-approval letter, they wouldn't accept it and wanted us to use their financing. We were presented with a payment option for 36, 48, 60 and 72 months. They showed us optional services which we declined - even stating that we only wanted to buy the car, no warranties, no add ons. Yet, when we received the line item break down at the agreed on monthly price, it included a 4 year warranty and GAP insurance totaling $4000 extra. So a $13,500 car became $14,600 with fees and then $18,600 with the warranty and GAP. Overall, even with the mandatory fees, the price was good but comparable to Carmax and other large used car lots. Watch for the finance department tricks and you'll do ok. We did buy the car and after a visit to my mechanic to check it out found we have nothing to worry about and got a fair deal. The whole process took about 4 hours so not bad. Happy with our choice. LIARS LIARS Called this dealership two times yesterday morning to verify that the vehicle was there and I was told that the vehicle was there. Drove all the way from Fort Lauderdale to Doral to go and see this car. When we get there there is no where to park finally found somewhere to park. Went inside and gave our names sat down waited for about five minutes and the salesman approach us. We went and sat down and the first thing he informed us was there would be $899 fee added on to what we saw on the computer. He went to get the key and informed us he had to see if it was at that lot or one about 1 mile down the road. He came back and tells us all sorry the car just sold at 9:30AM. I asked him why is the car still on their website and when I called two times that morning was told that the car was there and all this was after 9:30 AM. He brought over the manager and the manager said that it was sold at 9:30 AM that morning and that it takes four hours for the picture to come off of their website. I explain to the salesman that they're a bunch of fraud because first of all they tell you the price on their website is going to be higher. And secondly they leave cars sitting on their website that have already been sold to try to get you down there to try to sell you something else. I purchased a vehicle 5 days ago. The car started giving me steering/driving problems as soon as I got it on the highway after the purchase. I don't know much about cars. I figured the car just needed tire balancing and that it wasn't anything major. I couldn't do anything until the weekend due to my work schedule. I took the car in today to a private mechanic to see what was wrong and was advised my break pads and my rims were damaged. I was shown the damage areas. When HGreg allows you to test drive, they guide you through local roads only. I was never told there was a service department or to bring the car in for any issues. I didn't expect the car to have any problems. Today, I spoke to HGreg and was told I would not be reimbursed for repairs I had to make and that there was nothing they could do about the damaged rims. I'm so disappointed and feel that I was taken advantage of. I no longer even want the vehicle and there is nothing I can do about it, but continue to spend money to repair the damaged wheels and whatever other damages the car may have.
