Be VERY wary - shady business tactics and outrageous dealership fees ($5k worth). We purchased a 2019 alpha Romeo from them and within TWO HOURS of owning the car these error codes started popping up and the car was actually shaking. I believe they cleared the codes on the vehicle before selling it. We took the car back the next day - my husband had to take off work and I did as well in order to remedy this situation. Unfortunately hgreg has an EXCHANGE ONLY policy which is bs considering they sold us a bad car and they knew it - very upsetting. We spent several days deciding whether to purchase a Prius from this dealership. When we came in to finally purchase the car we noticed that it had an aftermarket rack and we wanted it removed. When removed they placed silver screws in the roof where the rack was. I was not going to purchase a 19,000 car with silver screws (total of 8 screws all around the roof) The salesman had the nerve to tell me 1. That ALL Prius' have screws that stick out and 2. He could put black screws instead. The other thing is that they literally wanted to EXTORT 1300 for a premium service protection plan that we did not want. By the way, I am attaching a picture of the roof of the Prius that we are buying at West Kendall Toyota. Look! No screws and it is $2000 less than the one at HGreg and a newer year and less mileage. That place has no customer service, sales personnel just sitting around drinking their coffee and 1 poor guy doing the financing. Our sales personnel Alexandre knew nothing about cars. My experience buying a car started ok and quickly went downhill once transaction was done. Part of the purchase included an agreement to fix a sensor and pain the rear bumper that paint was peeling off. We are talking about a $40k car so these things go where important. It took a month for them to finally schedule car for appointment. After being told multiple times that it would take minimum of 3 days due to paint and primer on bumper needing to dry and they could not provide a loaner we dropped off car. After 1 day we where told car was done, first sign of an obvious problem. When we picked up the car, they painted the wrong bumper, never covered surrounding areas (overspray everywhere), bumper that needed work never touched and everything in the trunk taken apart and not put back (even though they painted front bumper not back). I have called service and general manager of facility and no one answers or returns calls. Shameful. Avoid this place. read more

I have two concerns when I go to a new dealership. First is honesty. Hgreg posted a price on the window of the car which is a good price. However when you go inside to finalize numbers they tack on at least $3000 in processing fees and some lame warranty that you have no choice but to buy. For me it was very dishonest. So automatically add 3k to whatever the price is on the lot. I was very upset. "The price of doing business" they said. Went in today to buy an $8900 car to commute to and fro work, with a plan to put down $1000. Salesman tacked on $1700 worth of fees including, $1000.00 for a "Pre-delivery Service Fee" which is only applicable to NEW CARS that are actually delivered to the dealership. USED CARS are driven to the lot by a previous owner and traded in. He also added a $400 "Electronic Registration Fee", a $250 "License" fee, and $700 in taxes. An advertised $8900 Fiat is now $11,400 on paper. Being an informed buyer, I refused to pay the Pre-delivery fee so the salesman called the manager over, as he walked away like he was frustrated! (I'm the one being charged bogus fees, but he's upset) The manager proceeded to ask, "where did you get this information?" instead of, "you're right, we'll remove the fee that's not applicable to your used car." He preferred to continue an attempt to rip me off and stand by the inflated sale price. Car lasted exactly one month before engine blowing. Purchased a 2018 GTI from them. Put 1k miles on the car. Car had massive amounts of metal in the oil and oil filter with only 1k miles of use after purchasing. Now replacing engine with a used one at the tune of 9k. Rear rotors are well worn beyond spec. Changed the pads but still left worn rotors. Car has been the worst financial decision of my life. They show you the inspection papers and say everything is great with the car. Definitely not. When I was going do the financing part inside the office the APR became to 4.9 . I was asking the sales, is my APR will be around 2.9 and will not become a big different when I finance right? He was answer YES for SURE. In the office , the man did the finance for us and he said there is no 2.9 , and the sales is not supposed to check your credit in the front. That was totally lying to us. Before you decided to buy everything is good the sales even Promise give the full tank of gas, after you did all the paperwork they denied . Is that not something you deserved when you buy a car?
