(Like another reviewer, I am posting this late as my first experiences hiring HHS were in summer 2019! The fact that I'm here in 2025 still recalling a great experience and wishing to review his work that's remained issue-free in 6 years says something--right?) I lucked into Giovanni and HHS through local community groups online recommending him. Had him install a shower kit I bought and he helped with trim parts I was missing, as well as re-sealing some toilets. Next month, water heater finally bit the dust and he came to our rescue. I always dread any type of house stuff because I'm under the impression that every trade person is out to get money out of you. I definitely did not feel this way with Giovanni and his team. I bought a 3 stage filter aquasana water filter for our recently purchased house. Usually those can be installed by yourself but the previous owners left the plumbing under the sink in disarray. Things worked but it was hard to figure out what went where so we decided to hire a professional instead They were completely booked 3 weeks out which probably isn't as helpful if you have something urgent but it was perfectly fine with me. They gave me a larger window (11 - 3) but since I work from home it's not really a problem. Upon arrival he was so professional and friendly. He even took off his shoes without asking (we have an Asian household so that was much appreciated!). Giovanni explained everything and made me feel comfortable with the work he was doing. 40 min later and my filter was installed and he had made the under the sink plumbing look soooo much better! He even gave us some free tips on managing other aspects of our house which as a first time home owner I could really use! Highly recommend! Would use him for all our other plumbing needs. read more

This review is long overdue. Shame on me for falling behind on several of my Yelp reviews and for letting so much time elapsed since Giovanni from HHS Plumbing came over our house, back on September 3rd, 2021. But frankly, I had to write this review to recognize the great services that I was provided with, because it is absolutely deserved. So better late than never! From the beginning in mid-August I had contacted HHS, I got nothing but great service: scheduling with Victoria was smooth and easy and communication with many answers to my questions from Giovanni was happening regularly. "D Day" (i.e. installation day) finally arrived and Giovanni came over our house to install a utility sink in our garage. Giovanni arrived on time and was absolutely professional, knowledgeable, courteous and respectful of our home. Our project ended up being a much more involved project than what I anticipated. I thought that we had water connection in the area where I wanted the sink, which was not the case. Giovanni proposed 3 solutions to our dilemma. We picked one of the solutions, which would involve more work on his part. A 4 hour project turned into an all-day project (8 hours to be exact) because of what I had selected. Giovanni did an outstanding job installing the new sink/cabinetry, faucet and brand new copper lines to the water heater. He ended up working until 8 pm on a Friday, because he was so conscientious and dedicated. He would not leave the job until everything was done to his satisfaction. And he did all this with a great and positive attitude, despite the longer and harder day of work than anticipated! This sink was an absolute life saver for the following 4 months during our kitchen remodel. Also his pricing was more than fair and it was actually refreshing meeting a plumber who was not all about money, like it is so often the case... He took a lot of pride in a job well done, which is also very rare. And his final work definitely reflects his high business ethics! I used Yelp's Request a quote button to connect with local service providers to find out how much it would cost to install a basic kitchen faucet. A very straightforward request. Victoria responded to my Yelp message within ten minutes. Very soon after other companies responded I could see that HHS plumbing was priced below the others. There were no hidden fees. What we agreed on, is what I paid! 5 stars - attention to detail. Giovanni went straight to work once he arrived. The install required a matching part, that was missing from my previous install and he went to his truck and got what he needed. He just built that into the install pricing he gave me. No added cost. He took the care to ensure the fixture was at the right angle to the countertop by checking in with me during the install to ensure I was happy with it. He also put some measures in place to strengthen the pull down part of the kitchen faucet because he was anticipating the potential for future loosening. Oh, and the install was done within 40 mins! 5 stars - safety. During this pandemic he had all the safeguards. He wore a mask, gloves, and took off his shoes without being requested. I have continued to use HHS Plumbing for several years and now at our new house. Once again, Giovanni does top notch work, quickly, professionally and he is a wonderful person too. One of the best plumbing service we ever had. I'd give them more than 5 stars! Our shower malfunctioned, only ran hot water, can't adjust the water temperature. We got response from the owner within min after we posted the request for quote in Yelp, amazingly fast. Their replies to our follow-up questions were very clear and fast too. The repair is very efficient and effective. The owner is very polite and knowledgeable. He explains the problem clearly and walked through the repair process patiently. Really feel like he's working on his own house, making sure the issue has been fixed with detail checks. He cleaned up the area neatly after the repair. He also helped look at other facets in the house and shared lots useful information. He even helped clean up the bathtub drain with care, when I asked him to simply look at it. I'm so glad I found my go-to plumber. Due to a foot injury, Giovanni had to take a short break from work to heal. So I decided to wait two long months to have him fix my instant hot water faucet, because I couldn't trust any of the other plumbers I reached out to that required a minimum visitation fee without providing any kind of range on what the job *might* cost. Giovanni, the owner of HHS is an honest and honorable business person and I can not recommend him highly enough! Yesterday Giovanni came to my home to repair a main water cut off valve. He had provided a quote prior to showing up. I had been adviced by another plumber that the valve must be replaced but the price seemed high, Giovanni's price was half - HERE IS WHERE IT GETS INTERESTING!!!! Giovanni evaluated the valve and said I should NOT replace it, he said he would if I insisted but if it were his house he would not. He gave a very detailed explanation as to why not so I didnt He also answered some questions about my tankless water heater and unclogged the air intake as it was causing the unit to shut down HE DID NOT CHARGE ME A DIME!!! I found this company on Yelp and they were very prompt with giving me a quote. Victoria was very communicative through the whole process and even worked around my busy schedule to get an appointment. Once Giovanni came out to my house this past Thursday, he was very upfront about the cost and even did the calculation for all the labor in front of me which I really appreciated. He replaced three sinks for me and was very professional the whole time (and was even friendly and tolerant to my ultra nosy cats who wanted to "help" him in each bathroom). I even asked him to look at one of my showers that had been dripping after the sinks were replaced. He knew what the problem was right away and repaired that as well for a small extra cost. I have used HHS twice now, and received exceptional service both times. The first time, we had a clog in our rental unit that was causing the kitchen sink to fill up when the residents used the shower (???). Giovanni came out very quickly, cleared the clog, and cleaned the area better than it was when he started. He also went above and beyond, replacing pipes under the sink that were a bit leaky using better materials. I insisted that he charge us for the extra work (after all finding a leak and fixing it early saves a lot in the long run), but he didn't charge us a penny more than what was quoted for just the clog issue. More recently, I got a call from my HOA saying there was some water accumulating near my condo cluster and they were 99% sure it was coming from my place cause my meter was constantly moving. I was suspicious of the explanation since my house wasn't that close to the pool of water that was collecting so had HHS come out. Giovanni first ruled out that the collecting water was coming from my property. He then determined my meter was moving because of a minor issue with my toilet. Rather than try to push his services, he told me it was a simple fix ($10 part from Home Depot) that I could replace myself. I opted to go that route, but Giovanni still wrote paperwork up for me to send to my HOA saying my house was not the cause. This was AFTER he already knew that he wasn't going to get any money off of the visit. It's rare these days to find a plumber that will do an in-person assessment and estimate for free. It's even rarer to find one that won't try to extract every penny out of you. It's nearly impossible to find one that genuinely wants to help you out knowing they won't get anything out of it. I found all of the things in HHS, and will be using them for all my plumbing needs. read more

Giovanni and his wife were great at all levels. They provided a quote quickly, and it was very reasonable. Then, when Giovanni came to do the job (pressure regulator replacement), he told me that it was simpler than anticipated and charged less than quoted. We just moved into a house with a decent amount of plumbing issues, including: Poor water pressure in the kitchen faucet and master shower; A leaking bathtub faucet; A broken shower tub faucet and shower head; A washer and dryer needing a hook up; A leaking gas valve in the laundry room; and A broken bathroom sink handle. We also needed a new kitchen faucet, garbage disposal, and two bathroom sink faucets and handles installed. Giovanni did ALL of the work we needed and then some! He also replaced knobs that needed replacing. Giovanni was incredibly kind the entire time. He continually explained what he was doing and why and how we can make sure to avoid any future plumbing issues with respect to the things he fixed or installed. Also, my wife and I just moved and have had many home improvement projects going on from painting to electrical. Out of all of the home improvement professionals whom we have worked with, Giovanni was BY FAR the cleanest of all of them. Let me first start off by saying I didn't book HHS Plumbing to service me yet but I'm writing this because I was blown away by my initial interaction with this company. I reached out to ask if they could help seal off a drain from my laundry sink in my garage that we took out. They responded very quickly and got back to me with the most reasonable estimate of what it would cost me for them to do the job. They turned out to be the most reasonably priced amongst 7 other plumbing companies I contacted. But wait there's more! When they came back with their cost estimate, the owner also specified that he could definitely come out to do the job but also shared that our drain was something we could easily do ourselves if we wanted to. They even shared with me information on where to go and what to buy and how to seal it easily. I thought this transparency in giving their customers options rather than just making money out of them speaks to how this company upholds integrity in what they do. This is so hard to come by these days. Honest, responsive and great quality service. I've used HHS Plumbing twice now. Once was for a clogged line where they needed to snake the line out. Originally, I filed a claim with my home warranty company but they couldn't come out for three days, so I called HHS and they were able to rectify my problem the same day for less than my deductible! Second visit was for a problem with my icebox valve. They recognized the problem immediately and it was a five minute fix. They didn't even charge me! Thank you Giovanni!! In a few words.....don't hesitate calling them. Spectacular quick, friendly, honest and so freely willing to answer questions. It is rare in our world today that someone is so willing to help sight unseen. I texted them about a leak and received a response within just a few minutes. After a brief exchange I made an appointment for their next availability. It turned out I was able to locate the leak in the quiet of the wee hours of the morning so was able to make the repair myself. He recently came to our house to install a new shower head, drain and clean our tankless water heater and to change the filters on our osmosis system, which he installed.
