His fee was a little high, but we thought it was worth it to find a good plumber. All downhill from there! We called him to replace valves in faucets connecting to hoses on new washer. We set up a time slot for him to come do this job. He didn't show! And he hasn't been in touch to explain why or to reschedule. We have called and texted without getting any response. We had a water leak in our garage ceiling. Called several folks via Yelp on Monday evening (Memorial day). Mike from MyGuy Plumbing returned our inquiry late in the evening and said he could be at our place in the morning. He arrived and was able to locate and fix the leak within 30 mins or so. I have to say, we have had several homes and used several plumbers and no one has even come close to the experience we had with Mike, he is honest, finds the problem, doesn't try to upsell you, at all!! This is the second time we used Mike. First time was 10 years ago and the second was just today. I emailed and called Mike and left message. In my message I said we woke up and the bottom stairs has a leak and we do not know where it is coming from but the tiles are hot. Also, in my message, I asked him to please call or email me letting me know if he was too busy so I could find someone else. Mike called back in about an hour. We talked a little bit over the phone and he said he could come over after he was done with his current job. We told Mike we turned off water and we were ok as we were cleaning up water. I read the reviews and Mike is a small business owner so give the guy a break. If he doesn't call you immediately THEN listen to his outgoing message. He will tell you if he has no availability or is currently working on a job. Second, he does not fix drywall. He fixes leaks. Contacted Mike (MyGuy Plumbing) to replace all of the angle stops (shut-off valves) and all of the faucet and toilet supply lines in our home. In total there were 22 angle stops and 22 supply lines. Also, replaced 4 toilet fill valves. Mike is a true professional! His work is impeccable and he is very meticulous. After he finished this work, we discussed replacing our soft water conditioning system. Mike recommended the Halo 5 whole house water filtration & conditioning system.
