Back again, solo this time! I wanted a little 'Me' time and thought of visiting the Hi Tulip Cafe to check out the inside of the restaurant. The decor was quite quaint and colorful. The booths could seat for 2 and 4 people. Tables were available for larger groups. Holly was my server and she had a cheerful, welcoming attitude! Her service was prompt and she ensured everything was fine. Oh my goodness, the aroma of the Chai had hints of spices and was flavorful. My parfait was not only beautiful to look at, it was tasty as well. The fruit (strawberries and blueberries) were fresh and the yogurt was tasty. The crunch of the oats that covered the yogurt was a surprise since most I've had were usually a bit soggy. So tasty! It you get a chance to stop by this hidden gem, try it out and saw 'Hi' to Holly. For sure, I'll be back again!!

This is our favorite breakfast spot! service is always friendly and the food is so yummy. I love their crab Benedict. My son had the chicken and waffles and said it was the best he has ever had - and my daughter loved her short stack with her hot cocoa (the hot cocoa mug was as big as her head).

Back again just wanted to point out a great tasting breakfast burrito, turkey egg whites and baby spinach wrapped in a whole wheat tortilla, it was amazing light tasting real chunks of Turkey seasoned just right. #Birthday Breakfast at #HiTulipCafe. Was going to have the Greek Melt, but ended up having a #Veggie #omelet, grits, coffee w/honey. Cute little breakfast place my friend recommended. They also have lunch options too and veggie options as well, which I love. Service was good we didn't have that long of a wait even though it was bust. I got the tulip Benedict, which was served on a croissant, which was unusual but it was really tasty. I just wish there was more asparagus or another slice of tomato or maybe some spinach on it because there was more bread than toppings. I think if it had that it would have been perfect!

The food here is always good. I like their Tulip Benedict with the veggies. My husband always gets the Jersey Boy sandwich; he loves the Taylor pork roll and, it is delicious and filling. My favorite though, is the Smoked Salmon Hashbrowns. You get 3 per order but I always forget to take a picture - this time I remembered to do that with the last one! Service is nice and friendly. Get here early! It's a cozy little place inside and they have a nice patio too. If you dawdle around and get here after 10-ish, you'll find you will have to wait. Locals and tourists alike love this place.

I had the most perfect over-easy eggs for breakfast today. The servers were so kind and attentive, the staff is so friendly, every time we visit family in town we have to stop by the tulip cafe. Can't recommend it enough! read more

I called trying to place a take out order but no one picked up. So I decided to order at restaurant when I arrived and eat there instead (if they were open). They were open and I waited several minutes (no acknowledgement) and employee from a distance pointed to where I can sit. I sat and waited (again) for a menu. I decided to look at menu online/already knew what I wanted. When the waiter arrived with a menu he asked for my drink order, I asked for a water and told him I'm ready to order. He said he'll be back (more waiting) lol. I waited a couple more min and decided this would be the longest breakfast for a restaurant that was half empty. All the employees were hanging out in the counter area and not interested working. Feel bad for the owner and hope they figure things out. read more

My husband and I have been to Hi Tulip multiple times. They have great breakfasts. I've tried their omelets and they are huge and tasty. Home fries aren't my favorite but they are well prepared. We go there occasionally but never lunch. My husband is a huge pancake fan but the ones they served him, he described as " anemic." Still worth eating there. It is a bit pricey but you get a lot of food and most meals can be shared. read more

Tried this out a year ago really good came back was excited and it suck the 2 , 3 , 4 , 5 time and decided to give up . If it isn't the staff its the food . Don't know whats going on here but save your money and go across the street to Sammy's where your welcome , food is always great n staff is friendly read more

One of the best breakfast spots around here. It's very homey inside and the waitresses are all attentive and nice. The breakfast sandwiches are good and can be served many ways, the egg platter is always a winner and the eggs are always cooked perfectly, the bagels and lox is good (although last time the lox wasn't very fresh) and their home fries are awesome, make sure to add peppers and onions! Surprisingly the coffee is good too and they actually know how to make lattes/cappuccinos. read more

Hi Tulip Cafe is a small diner located in Beach Village Plaza in Palm Coast that serves breakfast and lunch. They have a nice coffee and espresso selection. I ordered a cappuccino and it had the perfect amount of foam and espresso combination. I also ordered the Rachael, which is twist on a Rueben sandwich. The restaurant was accommodating to the requests I made to customize my sandwich. One thing I think they can improve on is service. We didn't have any drink refills offered and were without additional napkins throughout our whole meal due to the waitress being busy serving other customers. I may come back here if I'm in the neighborhood. I liked how they had a nice seating area outdoors and may enjoy that once it cools off outside a bit. read more

Awesome service, great food. The prices were a bit high, but man, that was maybe the best multigrain pancake I've ever had. The blueberries were a great addition. My mom had their special breakfast. The bacon was perfectly cooked. She and I like to go out to a new restaurant every week (I'm new here to Palm Coast). I'm really looking forward to coming back here. read more

My wife and I enjoyed it very early morning breakfast at 7:30 this morning at high tulip café. This restaurant is located in a strip mall on 100 just up from the beach... Great parking and it's very cozy and inviting inside. Our waitress Brittany could not have been more pleasant. The prices were very good and so was the food. I had a western omelette with a biscuit and my wife had a veggie omelette with an English muffin and everything was delicious. The friendly service really added to an extremely pleasant experience. read more

We ate there twice and enjoyed it. Good bacon and toast. The third time was an embarrassment. Ordered a medium burger, came medium rare mostly rare. It tasted awful and I couldn't' t eat it. The worst was our waiter James said there was nothing he could do about it. When I suggested it be recooked to order he took back half the sandwich and grilled the edge, center still raw and other half of sandwich inedible. Spent $31.00 on two breakfasts. We found Hi Tulip Cafe while on vacation. I wanted a latte with Almond Milk and asked our waitress Stephanie if it was sweetened or unsweetened to which she replied "neither". I explained that I have a major health issue and can not consume sugar as it exacerbates the condition. She truly seemed irritated by my question but said she could find out. When she returned she stated that it was unsweetened and I ordered the latte, it was delicious. I then asked if the Plant Based Breakfast Sausage had Soy and she quickly replied NO. Soy is a major allergy for me. I ordered and consumed the sandwich. I told Stephanie it had great flavor, which you don't always get from certain plant based foods brands. I asked what brand it was and she consulted with another employee and they said the brand. I wanted to go to the store in the plaza to purchase the sausage, but they didn't have it. Later that night I researched the brand they had told me and it is LOADED WITH SOY. I have to wonder if the Almond Milk was sweetened because the latte tasted so good. I was shocked that Stephanie would be so careless about this when my health is at stake. These are major allergies with serious repercussions to my health. I have sent three emails to the restaurant with no response. We were there on Sunday morning and today is Thursday which is sufficient time to respond. Beyond disappointed for the egregious lack of regard for ones health and the lack of response as well. Very poor experience and waitress. read more

I am new to the area and have been looking to try local restaurants. I saw the high reviews so I decided to give the Tulip a try. I was pleased to see it was packed when I walked in (11:15 am on a Wednesday!) I dined alone and sat at the counter and Christine took great care of me. I could tell she was very busy but she didn't miss a beat the entire time. She was pleasant and friendly and took care of everything before I had to ask. The food is excellent, service great and obviously a local favorite! I will be back soon with the family! (Eggs Benny didn't last long enough for a picture;) read more

This place is a hidden gem. Stopped in on a whim Ann's have been back every week sincee. Amazing breakfast place hidden in a sleepy shopping center. Never would have found without Yelp and boy and I glad I checked. They close at 3pm at least on Sunday. Chicken and waffles very good! I didn't get to visit the place, so I can't comment on the facilities. My girlfriend ate there and asked me if I wanted take out. Sure...why not? Had a hard time finding the menu since the website wasn't working. So I ordered a "Monte Cristo" sandwich. Now, a Monte Cristo sandwich ALWAYS comes a certain way. A Ham and cheese sandwich on Swiss, dipped in batter, deep fried, sprinkled with powdered sugar, and served with raspberry preserve on the side. What I got was 2 slices of French toast with a piece of ham and Swiss cheese (NO turkey) swimming in pancake syrup. It was sort of...strange and weird tasting. Your "Monte Cristo" experiment is a fail. Sorry to have to tell you folks. THIS...is a Monte Cristo sandwich. Have a great day! read more

Had Hanna as a waitress and she was the rudest person I have ever dealt with. I ordered pancakes when they came they had a ton of powered sugar all over them. I hate powdered sugar. I have never heard of powdered sugar on pancakes. if I would have known I surly would have ordered them without. I asked for extra plate so I could put the one with the sugar on it on that plate and eat the one without No problem. Hanna brought the plate and I put it on it. she walked away and I said to my husband I have never heard of powered sugar on pancakes before. Next thing I know Hanna says "next time order them without the sugar on them. " very rudly . like said I would have if I would have known. next thing I know she tells Dawn to take over for her because I was being a bi$$h. I hadn't said anything to her. Dawn came over and was great as always. Then Hanna comes over and said thank you and you have a nice day! to my husband.Then looked at me and said you have a better day. " just as rude as she could be. she had handed us over to Dawn. It was out of pure meanness that she did that. I did nothing to her. I didn't deserve her rudeness. I work with a lot of people and I have put it on the message board for all to see. How she treated me was grounds to be fired. read more

Very bad experience ... Always had a nice breakfast here! But last Sunday I had the worst meal ever! With my eggs Benedict came salty home fries, burned dry salty hash browns and burned over cooked sausage links. Even the waitress was hesitant to serve it, however, I accepted the meal anyway. I regretted my decision. I think the cook contaminated my meal by unloading the entire salt shaker on my food! I won't forget this ever... read more

We've been coming to Hi Tulip Cafe since it opened. We mostly come for breakfast because they have great coffee, lattes and teas plus the food is really good. The staff is always very friendly and it has a small town atmosphere with an excellent choice menu. Definitely recommend eating here! read more

Kind of disappointed. They have a special. 1/2 waffle, two eggs, meat and coffee one price. My wife asked for toast instead of waffle and server said ok. Bill came and she said she could not do it. Cost us $5 extra.I was so upset I could not say anything. My bad. read more

The food is over priced and mediocre. 12 dollars for a wedge salad that is about a third the head of lettuce and very little toppings is inflation at it's best. Two dollars to sub fries for chips is also a bit much. The most surprising part was the tipping options starting at a whopping 25 percent, then 30, then 35 percent!! Who is eating here? Burt Reynolds?? (IYKYK) We will not be back when visiting this part of Florida; not even for trivia.

In fact, whenever friends or family visit from out of town, Craves is always at the top of our list, and they consistently tell us it's some of the best food they've had. Everything was so delectable and pleasing to the eye. My friend had the lasagna that she thoroughly enjoyed. She said that having the white sauce instead of tomato was new. She mentioned that it was seasoned perfectly. She, too, enjoyed the board and had Brie for the first time. The service initially was okay. Our server was new to being part of the serving aspects. I have eaten here numerous times and plan to keep coming until I work my way through the entire menu. it could take a lifetime as specials are offered daily. Breakfast is the Best for miles around. Eggs Benedict (all versions) are outstanding and the pecan pancake melts in your mouth. Lunch salads are crispy and fresh and the Reuben is great. We really like the food there. It's just a cute place to go. Wish they were open past 2 o'clock at least up until four would be helpful. And I wish they would include the second piece of toast with their breakfast. Otherwise, I think it's a great spot. read more
