I went for an event that was taking place with the DJ playing Freestyle music. Let me tell you he had everyone dancing with his great mix! The DJ was on a stage. They did a raffle giving some casino wins to play. We went inside the casino to get drinks and play for a while. The casino is small compared to others I've been too. I would say the wine was $7 and they filled the glass to the top. They do not have a Crafts! Table but they have a Crafts machine to play. That I found fun. Except the part of losing money. We did win at some point... should have cash out at that time. But it was dun. The casino had a DJ and people were dancing and have a good time in the casino. Water is given complementary. I would say it's more of an older crowd in the casino. Possibly regulars. Compared to other casinos it's limited but it was a good time all together. read more

Have been to Maimi a couple of times for a vacation. Aslo visited the casino and never won anything. Saturday the 19th of July i went again. Got a major jackpot of $2000.00. I was so shocked that the treatment i got was utterly bad. I was treated like a criminal, and they took 30% of my winning for taxes. WTF. They told me you are a foreigner. (I'm from South Africa) I asked them what the hold up, They told me they need to view footage to see if my winnings were legit. The Spanish people are the rudest culture i have ever met. We were looking for a place to play poker when in Miami and called this casino. The operator and the woman in the poker room couldn't have been more "unwelcoming". Apparently they are not interested in bringing in new players by the attitude they conveyed. The poker room manager, Adriene Jimenez must be asleep at the wheel and a very poor manager allowing this type of representation to the casino. It's a pleasure for me to review Hialeah Park Casino after a decade of not reviewing. Late 2014, I walked into a casino for the first time. Since then Hialeah Park Casino has been my second home. They have a great selection of slots, although if you're into rare classics, you won't find any. I've always felt quite lucky here regardless of the payback percentage. .I enjoy that it's clean, smoke free, and very safe. Should you get tired of gambling, the outside areas are more of a park setting, not just a parking lot. Although Hialeah is a primarily Spanish speaking place, there are English speaking employees. There may be a rude employee here or there, but the true life time employees are amazing individuals. My gripes are minimal; There should be slots at the bar, and the TITO cashing limit at the kiosks should be higher. read more

So far the worst casino in South Florida I have been to. It is very small, dark and cramped. Then there is the inane bingo. If you go when they are doing bingo, forget about playing any machines. They are all taken with people there for the bingo numbers. There are NO table games except for poker, there are no video poker machines, the rewards are skimpy. The history of the track is nice to see and that is it. This place has become a DUMP! Like any other business, success starts at the top. Their second in command, a Dominican fellow with a very strong accent should not be working with the public. He is nasty with the players and his only concern is that the rake money continues to drop into the drop box without regard for the player's enjoyment. Husbands brought their wife's, guys brought their girlfriends for a fun time, but they don't do it any more because the place is only attracting a low class of people. You have people constantly cursing, using foul language and supervisors don't seem to care. While this Casino is a great addition to the Hialeah community, I do have to agree with the other reviews in saying that unfortunately this casino's slot machines aren't regulated to be fair in payouts. I spent over $450 on over 25 machines for more than 4 hours and stayed for an additional 2 hours to see if anyone won a jackpot. Spoiler Alert: I lost all my money and so did everyone else because no jackpots were paid out. Avoid this casino like the plague and simply go to the Hard Rock where they are regulated and you have a way better chance of winning. Yesterday I went by the Hialeah Casino , played some poker then I went down to the slots where I had a great time. My issue was that on my way out at 8:55 pm. I  stopped and  bought some pastries at the little cafeteria. So  I paid for my food and  started heading towards my car and I was stopped by security and was told I had to go out through the back door which is fine , but at that point I see where he made a move to have me escorted out to the door by security, note at no time did I say no,  or acted  out of place or complained.  I felt like I was some kind of criminal who did something  wrong and had to be escorted out of the Casino to top it off when I called to let management  know how I felt , the lady who answered the phone was really sarcastic towards me. I for one will not return to Hialeah Casino and spend another penny . I don't go where I don't feel welcomed. read more

This place is a great addition to Hialeah. They are located in Hialeah park. Plenty of parking and handicap spaces close to the casino entrance. The grounds are very clean and well kept. The slot machine area is huge and very well lit. I go to the poker room and it's Great! The seats are comfortable and height adjustable. Tables are clean and well kept. Plenty of waitresses going around taking orders for drinks and food. The food here is better than most casino's I've been to. They have a lot of insensitives for the players. I feel like this place feeds off the Cuban community (Spanish speaking) who don't really understand gambling regulations. The slots are tight as hell and it's impossible to win. This is coming from someone who knows how to work the slot machines. I call myself a slot jumper- meaning I test out over 100 machines within a couple of hours. I've surveyed the land on various nights, on multiple occasions, here in this casino world and it proves to be true. I am in no way affiliated with the Hollywood Hard Rock- but I have a W-2's since April which is equal to $50,000 or more. The good news for them is they have lower costing machines which lower income families can spend on- but they don't return (at all). Hollywood Hard rock at least has a return which is hit or miss and luck it does play a factor... But this place just soaks in the money because they can. Their entire appeal is to the Latino community and I guarantee you if a specialist work to check the machines they would find that they are the tightest slots offering the least amount of return. My assumption again is that it's because they cater to a Latino community which is middle-class. And before anyone Bashas me for saying that- I am bringing this to everyone's attention because I do not think it's fair. Many people probably would not bring up this point. Most of the Latino community are there to have fun and drink and eat- and very few of them will ever get lucky as they put their money into the slot machines. And because they're there to eat and drink most of them would not know that they should be winning at least some of the time on the slot machines. I would say that this place is a rip off and that I would spend my money at the Hollywood Hard Rock no matter if I spoke English, Spanish, or Portuguese. Take it from someone who is one anywhere from $3000 to $13,000 and jackpots only taking out $250 at the ATM each time. This casino is taking advantage of its customers. I would have definitely given this place a 5 star, had the air conditioner been up and running and if the slot machines weren't a total ripoff. I can get over the fact I lost $100 plus the drink money, but no AC ? C'mon now. To be fair, the bartender had said that a storm came thru and lightning had struck the AC unit, but at a place like that, with all the money that place makes every second...a backup AC unit wouldn't be too outrageous. Especially when there was people leaving specifically because of the extreme heat/humidity in there. In Miami, that's a no-go. But on a lighter note, there's tons of gambling options in here. Upstairs are the poker tables. Downstairs is the slots/roulette/black jack machines and the bar (no smoking in here by the way). The slots are totally worthless. You will NOT win anything at them. I totally recommend you do not bother with them at all. Especially the outdoor slots for the smokers. Those are TERRIBLE. The slots here are a total money-taker. The roulette and blackjack machines on the other hand, are a little better. But not by a large margin. $100 lasted me about 3 hours. $100 at the slots, literally lasted me about 5 minutes. You bet 3 dollars, win 65 cents. Next thing you know, you're broke. The Hollywood Hardrock casino is much better, but this is closer. So it'll have to do or I'll just have to stop gambling. My 70 year old mother and her elderly friend went to play here. They also ate at the cafeteria. First the cafeteria personnel tried to overcharge them and when questioned the man at the counter told them to just take out all their money and stop being cheap and give him a tip. Then after playing when they decided to leave the security verbally attacked them stating they needed to leave if they weren't going to play. They said they were done and started walking towards the front door. The security made them go outside the back door of which was locked and led to a dark area far from the parking lot. Had my mother not stood up to them and question their actions they might of gotten robbed or been hurt because nobody else was being asked to leave in that direction. The treatment of two elderly females was very disrespectful and caused them anxiety of not knowing why they were being treated in such an unprofessional manner. Beautiful brand new place. Its very clean and plays great music. There are three bars two on the first level and one on the 2nd floor located in Poker Room. Valet parking and good food available at reasonable prices. The bar scene comes alive on Friday & Saturday. Flat screen televisions are all over the casino.
