Panda Rex is a family owned and operated inexpensive classic American Chinese eatery. Not legit at all. So why the 5 stars? Because, it doesn't pretend to be anything other than that, and it excels at what it is. Inexpensive food, made by Mom or Dad, fresh, hot and quickly. It isn't the best looking outside and a little rough inside, but get past the decor and sit down for a terrific meal, and a big one at that. What was shocking was the absolutely terrific customer service. The owner and his kids are first class and it was a pleasure to eat there while shooting at Camp Perry. Swing by for a quick meal, you won't be disappointed!

We called to place our order and it was ready within 15 minutes. We ordered 3 entrees to share between 3 adults and 2 children and still had quite a bit leftover (darn). The sauces seem to be homemade and were tasty; and seasoned nicely. The food was well prepared and the chicken was all white meat and lightly battered and fried. The shrimp was stir-fried (which we all prefer). I wish we would have ordered some of the appetizers - but judging by how much we had leftover; I think that was a good plan to skip this time. The options are limited in this category, which is another reason we skipped an appetizer. If we have more people or drop one entree - that might work just fine.
