Tried some new things: Chicken wings (sesame sauce) Hunan chicken platter with egg drop soup Tiger Roll King crab roll All were very good, especially the sesame chicken wings and Hunan chicken! The wings sauce was so addicting, and the Hunan chicken was very savory. It also had a good kick from the red chili peppers. The egg drop soup was good, just a little bit saltier than I prefer. I didn't really like the king crab roll. The crab was a little chewy, and I think it just doesn't taste that good in sushi rolls. If it had seasoning or a sauce to it, maybe it'd be better. The flavor and freshness of tiger roll was good. I liked the crunch from the tempura flakes because it gave it more texture. Overall, I'd order all of these dishes again, minus the king crab roll. Time for an update since the restaurant is now open for inside dining. Seeing the lack of customers inside is balanced out from the take out business. One customer after another so that's good. There is a full Sushi bar and everything else self service. Order at the counter and pay, get your water from the other side of the room, food delivered by a singing kitty robot. There isn't much for ambience as it's a family run business with a TV that members of the family are coming in and out watching the Olympics. What counts is the variety of the menu items and quick cooking. Fried rice arrived steaming off the wok and just the aroma made me want more. Great price to food ratio. I would never have tried this place if I didn't work in Minneapolis. Normally it is delivered to my job. My awesome boss treated me today and got it delivered. The delivery was only $2 this could fluctuate depending on location but that's very good considering how high delivery costs are now. I got the large beef lo mein and I got to say definitely better quality and freshness compared to Panda Express and Leeann Chin. Plus I think the portion is quite good, for a large it is $10.25 and it's very filling and they do an amazing job on giving you a decent amount of beef. This is our favorite! The delivered food is so very hot when it arrives, the portions are grand, and each part of the order is delicious.

A great option for vegetarians! The Miso soup is very satisfying (I usually got for the normal but the "spicy" is also good and has veggies), and the cream cheese wontons with red sauce are addictive. I recommend the sesame tofu, vegetable fried rice, and steamed vegetable dumplings. The mock duck is not quite as good as I have had it in other places (sauce not as flavorful and "meat" a little tough) but is also a decent option if you need something to keep you full alongside any meat eaters in your group. Note that every time I have ordered for delivery (which must be within their map limits and is a very reasonable $20 minimum and $2 fee) the website I placed my order on quoted 40-50 mins delivery time but the food arrived less than 20 minutes later. Definitely not complaining--in fact I don't know how they get here so fast! But be aware in case it comes sooner than you expect. I have never eaten in the restaurant but when I came in to pick up an order once I was pleased to see that it was clean and modern, with a strange cotton candy machine kids would probably love. read more

Definitely my go-to place for sushi takeout! I am surprised of how fresh and great quality of the sushi is. I usually get their combo deal and asked for extra ginger. Also their lunch special is a deal! You get fried rice/white rice with a meal and for 50 cents egg roll, total around $6.89. Portion is generous. When you arrive to pick up your food, they ask for the last four digits of your phone number. The staff is very friendly and fast. They are usually busy during lunch hour, so make sure to call ahead, and give them a little time to get your food delivered. Enjoy. read more

The dining room is barely a dining room, it's full of storage boxes and decor is not fully put up - we felt entirely unwelcome. As a group it was a terrible place to visit since you can't move the tables due to the robots needing to know where to go. You order at the counter with a human who is also answering the phone and checking out pickup orders. A line snaked through the dining area, it was a mess. The food was not good. I wasn't terribly hungry so I ordered stir-fried broccoli with rice and a bowl of miso soup. My broccoli came steamed with a side of sauce that barely covered two pieces, it was a huge plate of broccoli which included at least one very small human hair...I fed my leftovers to my chickens. The miso was OK, too swamped with seaweed. My husband got fried rice which tasted frozen and not fresh. He did like the general tso's tofu though. If you're looking for your classic oily Americanized Chinese food then this is the place for you. It's reasonably priced and in a good location for me but other than that nothing special. I would recommend ordering online or via phone so you dont have to wait long. I usually do take out or delivery but the one time I ate inside for a quick lunch- the service was okay, a little slow for dining but I think they were busy doing take out orders. We certainly found our go-to Chinese take out restaurant! New Fresh Wok is awesome they have a huge menu and I have been impressed by the quality of food as well. Sometimes I can be a bit nose up about Chinese take out food- if it doesn't seem freshly made, and I have always felt the food from here is great. We have ordered 4 times in the last 6 months and each time they have arrived much faster than the anticipated time. I like when places pleasantly surprise you when they beat the ETA by a landslide. I will say we have always ordered by phone and not online and have never had any issues ordering over the phone. They read it back to you and are great at confirming your order is correct. Also- this place surprising has great sushi too. At first I was skeptical of ordering it, but saw another review advocated for it - so we gave it a try and didn't regret it! read more

Honesty is the best policy. Food is good, service, not great. Only reason this place is 2 stars is because the food was at least good. So I put in an online order around 11:10. I forgot to put in a comment that I wanted to pick it up at 12:00, so the website confirmation said that my food would be ready to pick up at 12:33. Cool, I'll just take an early lunch and go grab it. I get there at 12:35 and walk up to the front counter. The employee working the register told me that my online offer should be out soon. So I take a seat up front. Next to me is another customer who has been waiting for his food. Let's just say 30 mins pass and the guy next to me is livid. He told me that he ordered his food to-go before most of the customers dining in even sat down and ordered and we just see order after order being brought out. He confronted the staff and asked why it was taking so long. They finally told us that they have a POS error and the order never got sent to the kitchen, despite the staff continually telling us to that it's coming out soon. Overall I felt that they didn't handle this well. Instead of getting the orders in, there were three complaints (including me) regarding late orders. They were just talking to each other, before bringing someone to look at the issue. When the guy next to me told them off and stormed out, they continued to talk to each other while there was a father and his little girl just needed to be seated. It was super awkward for them because they walked in at a weird time. No compensation or refund for the late order and basically lying to us that our food was coming out. I ordered the Garlic Beef. I think it was good and for the price under $6 I would say it was worth it. I'm all for second chances, but I hope that they learn from their mistake today! I'll try it again next month. read more

Let's start this review by admitting I'm not a big fan of Chinese food. I really like potstickers/dumplings. Pork is my favorite, but I've had some really delicious vegetarian ones. The reason I really like this place is not just for their potstickers, but the ambience of the place. I don't mind dinning by myself from time to time. I bring my iPad or a book, and I either read or watch a movie as I dine. New Fresh Wok, has great customer service, and yummy potstickers. I can go there, and order some potstickers, and just be left alone. They are very attentive to my beverage and when it's gets low, they refill it without any fuss. It's a quieter place, and there isn't much of a crowd which I also like. I'm not an antisocial person all the time, but I do enjoy being alone on occasion. I would recommend this place to a party of 2, even to a larger group, but especially to someone who wants great service, fantastic potstickers, and to be left alone. read more

I don't have a favorite dish but of the times I've been here, I've had their shrimp & broccoli, bean curd vegetables (spicy), shrimp & vegetables, house lo mein, house fried rice, & orange chicken. I've ordered more take outs than eating in, but of the times I ate in, service was prompt and courteous. Picking up for take out is usually pretty fast too. It seems they get the food done within 10-15 when you order 3-4 entrees. I did mention lightly flavored dishes meaning the taste is more Americanized for demographic purposes or for the clientele they serve. If you're looking for authentic Chinese with full flavor dishes, send me a message for recommendations. (There is a sushi menu which I haven't tried.) I recently found myself in Roseville and needed to kill some time around the lunch hour, so stopped in after reading some reviews. I ordered the lunch combination, Sesame chicken, and substituted for a cup of Hot and Sour soup. The restaurant was very clean, service was quick and friendly, but the food, as others have noted, did not have great depth of flavor. It was certainly enjoyable; it was cooked perfectly with a good ratio of sauce to the chicken, and the deep fried chicken was still crispy, which tells me it wasn't just sitting somewhere soaking in sauce. It also came with a couple lightly steamed fresh broccoli florets. The soup was OK, just didn't have, again, the depth of flavor I tend to enjoy. That said, I do realize that this place is a bit on the more "Americanized" end of the spectrum, but the food is solid and I would definitely return if in the area in need of some comfort food. PS: The lunch combo prices are excellent - $6.45 (.50 cent increase for the hot and sour soup), and the portion is perfect. I couldn't quite finish it all. read more

Fresh indeed!!! Was in the mood for some Chinese, but not from our typical place. Drove around and found this place. This is a nice, quiet, charming little restaurant. The quiet is nice. There was no music playing and no obnoxious big screen tvs on the wall. It was just a nice quiet place to have lunch. Ordered: Egg rolls- came with two really tasty and super hot (temp wise) rolls. They are smallish, but not too small. Wonton soup with lots of vegetables, chicken, and shrimp Shrimp and broccoli. The sauce was delicious House fried rice was also delicious as was their plain old white rice which was more like sticky rice. Really great food and really fresh and fast!
