We ate inside Hibachi Express on a Friday night and were the only ones eating there. It seemed to be a popular door-dash option we saw lots of dashers picking up to go orders. The chicken was good but the steak hibachi was my favorite! Very filling and served with a very generous amount of rice. I would definitely go back for the steak highly recommend trying it! We didn't love the crab Rangoons they tasted slightly off but maybe still worth a try! Ambiance is pretty nice for a "hole in the wall" restaurant. Cheers!

Supposed to be hibachi chicken. Fail.

Not hibachi chicken older pics were. This is un seasoned, tough chicken, with what tasted like teriyaki sauce thrown on. Rice was terrible. No soup or salad available. Price was okay considering mall food court quality.

Got a DoorDash from this place and the food was dry and flavorless. It was not cheap and I was super disappointed.

Sometimes 5 stars just is NOT enough…read more If you ever find yourself on the south side, you have to check this place out. I have heard friends rave about Yokohama for years, but it always seemed so far and out of the way. Now I am kicking myself for waiting so long to go and it has ruined me for a lot of other 'sushi' places closer to home. Not convinced yet? Read on. The owner only uses the freshest fish that she used to drive hours to get almost daily to ensure it is the best cut and quality - and this shines through in the taste of her offerings. The downstairs space is cozy and intimate - but they do have the coolest 'party space' upstairs that you can rent/reserve complete with in-ground tables for an authentic experience. They will also set up karaoke up there if you ask! Back to the food. Our group ordered about 10 items - all of which were so good that I was super mad that I had waited so long to try Yokohama. We were fortunate to go with a friend that has been frequenting this gem for about 20 years - so he ordered for us - and this is the way to go! We had the Volcano, BMW, Fat House (SO unique), Indiana, Speedway, and Debbie rolls, Sake smoked salmon and super white Nigiri, the Gyoza app, and another seared tuna app that I cannot remember the name of - all DELISH! Of note, your GPS might take you to what appears to be an alley - don't worry - you're close! Yokohama is in a converted house space and the vibe is so comfy. If you get the back corner table near the fireplace, check for a hidden drawer under the table where you will find years worth of love notes tucked inside. Request 'the lover's table' to sit here! Pro tip: if it is not busy, ask if Debbie is available to tell you a joke or to show you a magic trick. You won't be disappointed.

I used to be so codependent when it came to eating meals as it was one of the things that helped me overcome my eating disorder and kept me accountable. I walked into Red Sun on a whim and by chance, AND LET ME TELL YALL HOW MUCH I LOVE IT. Legitimately every single time I go to greenwood, I stop by. My best friend from indy is very much a chicken nugget a day keeps her food anxiety at bay type of girl. I forced her to come with me. She eats it every time she comes back to indy with me. The girl up front I stg I've watched her go from late high school through college. The cook in the back with helly tats (btw if you single holler at me my guy) is phenomenal and so precise with his skills. I know it's going to delectable. Love yal for real/ price is phenomenal, the staff cares about you personallyf

They were pretty quick at getting my order ready as I did a highly recommended order online for pickup. There is also a small indoor dining area if you'd like. So now to the food .... I'd say I agree they REALLY need to have some sauce or flavoring. The chicken and beef had more pepper than sauce if that says anything and that was minimal. The chicken and the beef hibachi were good but I could fire this up at home and it would taste better than this honestly plain chicken breast and steak. The steak was low quality but I expected that for the awesome price . Very, VERY minimal veggies. The zucchini is very thinly sliced and I'd say it had 4 pieces chopped in quarters max on my plate. The togo container is the typical size of 1 big (rice area) and 2 small side areas (meat and veggies) if that tells you what to expect. The pricing is good though for what you get. Now the Chinese dish (general tso's) was excellently done. Plenty of sauce and plenty of meat so that's confusing when comparing to Japanese dishes. Unfortunately I'm gonna make some people upset with my honest review but it's a heads up on what you're getting. I'm just gonna stick with making these at home unless I want Chinese food

For starters, we was not asked if we wanted to be at the hibachi table, was just seated at a normal table. As this is my first time, I'm pretty sure there was seating not at the grill that we may have opted for with a small child. I got a crunchy roll and the chicken hibachi dinner. The broth was saltier than any broth I've ever had before but good flavor. The ginger dressing on the salad was a little strong as well. The crunchy roll was good but could have had more flavors and crunch. It's one of my favorites I've gotten other places so I feel like in comparison it could have had more of the crunchy topping and flavor/sauces drizzled on top. The hibachi was good too, not many veggies as most hibachi places serve. In fact, mine was mostly onion and slivers of carrots. I got one piece of broccoli. Even the fried rice was just corn and egg added. Maybe I'm wrong but most of the time they have carrots and peas too. It was good but I felt like even the show was less interactive than most. My total was 26 and some change. With tip, $32.
