Full disclosure: this is our first buffet experience since COVID, so we may be a bit guarded and conservative in our review. The strength: Friendly staff. A senior discount. Beautifully-presented food with considerable variety. Ample meat-based, seafood and vegetarian selections. Attentive service from staff to pick up plates and clean tables. Lots of seating. A great, fun hibachi station where raw meats and veggies are grilled to perfection before our appreciative eyes. Drawbacks: individual items are not as warm/hot as would be ideal. The $21-23 per person weekend rate is steep if you are not someone who eats a ton of food at one sitting. Complaint: Most importantly (and maybe TMI)..... all 3 seniors in our party had almost immediate GI distress after our meals . No stomach pain but an urgent need to void. I'm ambivalent with the number of stars but can't go over 3 due to the last complaint. Don't think we will return.

This is the fruit where it has cantaloupe, watermelon pineapple oranges, little sweet cookies, salad cake, pudding Jell-O all you can eat!!!

Yes, the food here is delicious. A big variety of food. It even also has sushi. This is all you can eat buffet. It's cheaper during the week and a little bit more on the weekends.

Great customer service great food. Food was fresh. Tables were clean and bathrooms were clean as well.

I used to enjoy coming to this hibachi grill, but sadly, the quality has gone way downhill. The food tasted bland and artificial. The noodles, which used to be a highlight, now look overly orange and taste cheap and fake. Most of the food seemed like it was frozen and reheated especially the pizza, chicken nuggets, The crab legs were overcooked and rubbery, and the salmon looked off and tasted just as weird. Some of the meat was not cooked properly.... The only thing I somewhat enjoyed was the shrimp, and even that needed Sriracha to be decent. Worse than the food was the aftermath--it made my stomach hurt. I couldn't even use the bathroom because they were absolutely filthy. No toilet paper, puddles of urine on the floor, no working so anybody can just walk in on you.., and it smelled horrible. On top of that, the area where I was seated smelled like sewage, which made eating even more uncomfortable. This place used to hit, but now it's just disappointing. Definitely not what it used to be

Good service and good food. Also very reasonably priced. Loved the grill. Will come back

Great, I like the food. The fish and crab are fresh and the meat is hot and juicy. Highly recommend.

Our entire family grieved the loss of one of the best dim sum and Chinese cuisine restaurants in the Riverside area. But lately, there was a lot of talk, good talk, that the same owner had reopened here, a tinier bistro setting, not as flashy interior. So here we are, finally, late to the party, but sublimely happy. First things first. An order of their siu mai. Still just as plump, with their signature, wonderful pork- shrimp filling, my taste buds let out a big sigh of relief. I've had to endure some pretty horrible ones from other restaurants lately. Big Skyy's is superb. Next, the black bean pork ribs. Wonderful, just as we remembered. A healthy portion, plenty of meat in spite of the bones. Great gravy. Finally, the eggplant with beef. This one was extra special, made with generous amounts of filet mignon, eggplant cut in spears, cooked in a salty sweet garlic sauce that is very special. It was melt-in-your-mouth, swoon worthy. One of my favorites. They still accommodate large family groups, a few big round tables for 6 or more. The staff was very friendly and took the time to answer all our questions. They feature the same marvelous menu and the same chef who creates those traditional Chinese dishes with pizzazz. It's wonderful to re-acquaint ourselves with an old "friend". It's even better to know, the important things we remembered have not changed a bit. You would be right to assume we will be back!

The restaurant itself is super spacious, and since we came at kind of an odd time after the lunch rush, it was really calm and relaxing inside. We ordered the Salt and Pepper Calamari, and it was really good. The calamari was crispy, lightly seasoned, and still tender inside, which made it super satisfying to eat. I do wish it came with a dipping sauce, but we already had sweet and sour sauce on the table and ended up using that instead, which actually paired really well with it. We also got the Chicken Pad Thai, which honestly impressed me a lot. The portion size was huge for the price, I think it was around $12-13, which felt really worth it for how much food we got. The noodles were flavorful, well cooked, and had a good balance of savory and slightly sweet flavors without feeling too heavy. The people working there were really welcoming and kind, and it felt like a family-run restaurant, which made the experience feel even more comforting and homey.

For this AREA this is a 5. For California GENERALLY, this is a 4, due to lack of menu options. I'm giving a 5 because comparatively, very few Chinese places offer soup let alone this authentic. Also due to the grape tea I got and the 10pc dumplings. Overall, this riverside-corona area is sparse and is moreso filled with Korean food than Chinese or Japanese. If you're in the area and need a good place to eat & chill, come here. My wait for inside was 1hr, went outside and got seated in 5 minutes. Make sure to spray for mosquitos and prepare for summer humidity. DO NOT COME IF you expect this to be Panda Express and you just want a personal platter with a whole Chinese cuisine. No, instead I asked ppl who were waiting in line "am I supposed to write my own name? After waiting and nobody acknowledging me for a good while. Their response was "we did" There was an empty seat that I could've just sat at because I went by myself and started eating sooner but because their lack of acknowledgment I waited 15 mins ... I really wanted to hope for the best that's why I waited. Then after being told to sit where I knew I'd sit, then my server was kind, but took a while to check up to see if I needed anything (I'm a sauce girl so I ask for eel and chili sauce at any restaurant that has it) instead I asked another server because mine was no where to be seen. Now, the food..... the tempura was delicious but for the price wtf is 3 pieces...????? Like EXCUSE ME???? 12 bucks and 3 pieces? Come the f on - You have a huge restaurant I'm sure you can afford one or two more pieces - okay those were good - probably my favorite thing I got. I got a fruity iced tea that was good x Now the dumplingsssss BRUH I got the beef and onion because I asked what were the best dumplings. They tasted like Trader Joe's dumplings man, I've made better dumplings at my home reheating them. I give the dumplings 4/10 with eel and chili oil and paste I give them a 6... but really good dumplings shouldn't need all of that. Needless to say, I happily won't be making the out of the way trip for this place ever again. With how busy and popular this place is online I guess I had expected better. Anyways if you want dumplings better than this get some at Trader Joe's cook them lightly on water with eel sauce to make a nice broth or used chicken / beef broth to heat them up. Youll save yourself the $50 of going out and waiting on yourself and disappointing dumplings.

It was not too loud in there and the place was relatively empty so that was nice. Biggest disappointment was service, because our table ordered chow mein and the waiter brought us chow fun (flat noodles with gravy). When we told him that we ordered chow mein, he told us that what we ordered was chow fun, so I showed him what we ordered on the menu and he said "you wanted lo mein". While I get that, he spent a minute trying to figure out where the item was and couldn't find it. I reviewed pics on here and it seems like other people got the thick yellow noodles for chow mein. Anyway, they replaced it for us but I overheard the waiter tell his manager that we ordered chow fun by accident. The manager then told us something about "our mistake" upon paying, placing blame on us . The manager was nice about it, but we repeatedly told the waiter chow mein and he kept correcting us to chow fun. Also, there is a section of the menu labeled chow mein and a separate page labeled chow fun. I think I know what we ordered. Disappointing.
