He took care of our daughter and 5 year old daughter who were stranded with a flat tire across the street. We could not get to them. Do not! Do not! Do not! Take your vehicle to this place! They do not give a sh*t about the cars they service! When a lady pulled up that morning cussing them I should have seen the sign! They did not and will not use fender covers to protect the paint and lay their tools on the vehicle. Even after being asked to use them!. When I received my vehicle back it had grease, chipped paint, and scratches all over the front of my car! I will no longer purchase tires from Hibdon or trust them with any vehicle again. read more

Tire replacement could be better. After I got my keys, I asked them to air up the tires again because they were at 28,28,32,28. My '24 trailblazer should be at 35 psi. They gave me the ol "drive around, it should reset." Dumbest thing I've ever heard, but I decided I'd just air em up at home. I hit I35 and noticed they weren't balanced right, so I had them fix that and air them up. They say "got them all at 32 now!" Not even gonna argue, I'll air em up at home. I get home and sure enough, they didn't put the caps back on. They were apologetic and a kind staff overall, so I won't knock that. Takes -5 minutes to check your work fellas. Google what you don't know by heart, ie. psi of cars. Price was good, $457/4 tires. Service was quick, 35 min, except having to go back and fix. Hope it was just a rough day. read more

There used to be a Mgr. here (Jason) at the Norman location on 24th. My understanding is that he has moved to the Moore location. It seems since he left, my experiences at this location have not been great. I have had to make numerous trips to have the same thing looked at over and over and over again. Since previously, I had been very impressed with this location (while managed by Jason) therefore I have tried to be patient. Having already spent 1 1/2 hours here today and still not completing the tasks, I plan to take my business elsewhere in the future, most likely to Jason in Moore! This place is an absolute scam. I took my car in to get an estimate for my rear brakes since one side had the brake pad locked up and worn down. They said I needed new brakes and brand-new rotors and quoted me $1,200 for just the rear. I took my car to the dealership and they were able to resurface the existing rotors and charged me 1/5 of what Hibdon was quoting. Even if I needed my rotors replaced it would have been half the price. Who would actually pay that much for that work? Made apt for 8 am to have new st of tires and inspection. Was told 2 hrs for tires and if breaks were needed another hour but they would call if breaks were needed. 2 hr 45 min later we show up to get Pickup and NOTHING had been done! What's the use of getting an appointment? WILL NEVER EVER use them again and highly recommend you find another tire source. read more

Hibdon Tire Treachery I decided to order some wheels from Tire Rack through Hibdon because they can buy wheels from them and it would be less hassle for me to transport them by myself. I printed out a sheet of paper with my order and gave it to the store manager and repeatedly told him I don't want the black wheels, I have a black car and I wanted some contrast on my car so I wanted steel graphite. The WHOLE reason I was buying new wheels was because my wheels that were on the car had issues with terrible lug nut design and were prone to stripping and I actually broke a lug nut inside these special wheels (rohana rc10 wheels). I was buying the same size wheels with the staggered set up (9inch wide 245 on the front, 10inch wide 275 tires on the rear) so I would not have to buy new tires and they can just transfer those tires on the new wheels..... SEEMS SIMPLE ENOUGH RIGHT!?!?!? THE BEGINNING OF HELL: They got the wheels and told me to bring it in so I did, I got a call 4 hours later saying they were done. I got there and the WHEELS ON MY CAR WERE BLACK! I had specifically told them I dont want black wheels and I gave them a sheet of what exactly I wanted. I had to go in and tell them before we even discussed what I owed that they were the wrong color. They then had to take the tires off the new ones and put them back on the old wheels and re-order the CORRECT COLOR wheels, which were on backorder for 2.5 weeks. After another hour or so I got the call that the car was done so I picked it up and drove it home, meanwhile they have scratched my old wheels in the process of this too (each wheel is well over 500$ a piece) so I start to drive home and THE CAR WAS UNDRIVABLE!!! Anything over 30 mph the steering wheel would shake 5 degrees both ways. I get it home, since I live 5 min away from this place, and I get out to look at what they had done and oooohhhhh boy was it something. Remember how I said my wheels were staggered. Well lets just say my wheels were far from that when I got it home since the idiots working there put my 245 front tires mounted to the wheels on the left side of my car and the 275 rear tires mounted to the wheel on the right side of my car. Not to mention the front right tire looked like it was going to burst off the bead taking a turn at any speed. I take the car back and explain how badly they screwed up and they fixed it and I told them not to rush anything, meanwhile scratching my wheels more in the process again of having to remount them on the right wheels. THE NEXT DAY I plan to go out shopping and I take a look at my tires to make sure everything is good from yesterday before I set out. LOW AND BEHOLD MY RIGHT FRONT RIM IS ON THE GROUND AND THERE IS ZEROOOOO PSI IN THAT TIRE. I had to call them again and take it in and have them fix the valve stem because they broke it swapping it out so many times (if you did it right the first time it wouldn't have broken from the third swap. 4 visits in 2 days HIGHWAY DRIVING I was needed in the city for a meeting. I go 60mph on the highway and my car is shaking very badly. I Came to find out they didn't balance the wheels and tires putting them back on the car so I had to go back again for them to balance them. NEW WHEEL DAY I explained, and by this point the front desk guy knew me by name, take your time, dont rush it and please don't scratch these brand new wheels. I asked if the new wheels came with lug nuts which they did and I told him great let me know when it is done. 2 hours pass and I get a call, "hey it's ready". Moment of truth I show up and the car is there with the wheels I have wanted for the past 3 weeks are finally on the car. I ask about anything they can do to compensate me for dealing with visiting for the 8th time now at this point and they say they will talk to the manager tomorrow and you should get a call from them. I then drive it home and I was going to pick up my old wheels later that day. I get out of my car checking the wheels out and see the plastic protective cover on the center caps so I peel it off and I stop....and can't believe what I am looking at. THE WHOLE POINT OF THIS WAS TO GET NEW WHEELS AND LUG NUTS TO SOMETHING MORE RELIABLE THAN WHAT I HAD BEFORE.THEN WHY THE HELL AM I LOOKING AT THE OLDDDD LUG NUTS ON THE NEW WHEELS. One looked like it was about to be stripped out completely. I had to take it back again for them to put the new lugnuts on my car. THEY GAVE ME NOTHING IN COMPENSATION The store manager Jason at The norman location gave me nothing for having to return 6 times in total for their f*** ups. He offered an oil change or an alignment. My car already has lifetime alignment so what good does that do me and a free oil change, man if you can't even do tires right why WOULD I TRUST YOU WITH MY ENGINES OIL. They forgot to put my grandma's trucks drain plug on tight enough to hold the oil in it 2 weeks prior to me taking my car there for new wheels. I WILL NEVER GO TO ANOTHER HIBDON EVER! read more

I scheduled an appointment online to get my oil changed and my tires rotated. I received an email confirming my appointment, but when I showed up for it they had no record of my appointment. They said that they would fit me in for my scheduled appointment time ahead of some others. I waited a hour and a half past my scheduled time and they never touched my car so I left. Was staying at the hotel across the street. Was able to get tires put on while in my meeting with no appointment. They didn't try to up sell me even when I was pushing for a repair I thought I needed. Also I think they are part of Firestone so your warranty will be serviced both ways, but ask them to verify! read more

Best customer service experience I have had at an automotive shop. I bought some firestone tires a few years ago and had a flat on one and needed two other new tires. They were able to get a warranty on the flat and were out of the tires I needed so they went to a store in another town and picked them up to put on my truck. They changed the oil on my truck as well while I waited on them to pick up the tires. They were caccurate on the time frame they gave me on when they would have everything done. They also broke down the prices on everything and were completely transparent on what they were doing and didn't try to up charge me or talk me into more services and spending more money. Driving back to San Antonio Texas from a weekend at Rocklahoma. We are in Norman Ok when. We feel our truck shaking like crazy. We pull over and there is a huge bubble on the passenger side rear tire. Of course we know how to change a tire but our locking wheel lug tool splits and there is no way to change our tire. We contact roadside assistance, wrecker arrives, they dont have a tool either. Wrecker driver recommends Hibdon Tires Plus and follows us to their shop 2.4 miles away. David was so helpful. He looked for the right tool and they had it. They changed the tire for us and put our spare on all at NO CHARGE. We were able to sit in AC while the finished the work. I would recommend Hibdon Tires Plus to anyone living in an area they are in! If we lived in Oklahoma Hibdons Tires Plus is where I would buy ALL my tires! read more

I left my vehicle with them yesterday, a Saturday. They told me I'd have new tires and an oil change in 3 hours. After 5 hours they had not touched the vehicle oe calked me. I went back since my ride was depaeting town. They asked me to wait 2 more hours in a Covid pandwm8c in a waiting area with standing room only with unmasked people. Needless to say I was pissed. I canceled the sale. They have like 12 service bays but do not use them or even have the employees to use them. They must be a tax shelter. I can go to dozens of places that can change 2 tires and do an oil change in less than an hour. I have no idea why anyone payronizes this place. read more

Horrible experience, every time. Done with this business and going elsewhere from now on. I've given them chances and grace but every time they fall way short. Can't make an appointment online because Jason says they aren't accurate, so if you book online it's probably not available and by the time Jason calls you, you're now days out from the appointment you wanted. This time I called and booked a 1pm. Showed up at 11:30 because I was in the area. Didn't expect to get in early but there were open bays. They moved my truck to a different spot and even had the mechanic paper in the truck, but Jason told them no and put another car in front of mine. Truck stayed parked until 1:45pm and hadn't even gone into a bay yet. Completely unacceptable service. They failed at every single level today, and have in my prior experiences as well. I had a nail in my rear tire which caused it to go flat as I pulled into their parking lot at around 4:40 in the afternoon. I needed a flat repair done, I was told they had no time to do it before they closed at 6:00. After trying to rearrange my schedule to leave the vehicle with them overnight, I was then told they didn't have any time the next day to repair the flat ( a 20-30minute job ) At this point I spoke of my disappointment about the inconvenience and lack of customer service on my 3 month old tires which I purchased there for over $700.00. It was at this point that the employee David came to me and told me he would make sure the flat would be fixed by closing time. He took it upon himself to make it right and he did. Employees like David should be rewarded, while the one in charge should sharpen her customer service skills. read more

The online out the door price for two Primewell Valera HT 23575R15's was $247.75. I set up an appointment for the next day and called the shop again to make sure the price was correct. Assured that it was, I arrived the next day 1/2 hour early and checked in. The wait was nevertheless two hours plus the half hour I came early. The job got finished. When I went in to pay I got the usual dance around the "would you like" register add-on. I gave each "opportunity" a no. Then the guy behind the counter said the bill would be some $190 plus. "More like 247.75," I said. The guy working the register said nothing, just punched ahead for awhile. Then he said the overage "must have been" due to a road hazzard fee for each tire. Something I never asked for. Whatever he did took the bill down to just above what had been the claimed "out the door" price. I paid up and left. Over the years I've had a number of bad experiences with Hibdon. Often they wanted to replace components on the car that had nothing to do with my wanting tires put on, even sometimes attempting a "these are safety issues" refusal to sell me tires. The guy at the counter was condescending and rude to my grandmother and to me acting as if we had absolutely no idea what was going on about everything down to how we scheduled the appointment. I wish that was the worst part but they quoted me almost 2,000$ worth of repairs that my car "needed to be safe" that it didn't actually need! They lied about the repairs needed and told me essentially that I could take it somewhere for a second opinion but that they would definitely say the same. When I took it to the mechanic my family uses for major repairs he looked at my car and said all it needed was an alignment and my tires balanced/rotated, and high was what I took it to this place for in the first place. The manager snidely told me he WAS going to use an impact wrench, when I specifically asked them NOT to. He said if he can't use impact they weren't going to do it there....So I took my tires, and my car to Landers Dodge, who happily did exactly what I asked for. Took my Toyota there for an oil change. They told me I needed tires. When I picked up the vehicle I in fact do need tires, however they didn't even give me a quote for the correct tire size. Seriously, You have my car in your shop and can't even verify you have the correct tire size before you quote someone?
