I will start with the customer service it was excellent John was super helpful asked us what are budget was what we liked. Didn't try to convince us to buy an expensive mattress ( which we ended up doing anyways our choice). Just happened to make a wrong turn down the street and saw advertisements for mattress sales during memorial day weekend. After going to 3 different places and being unsatisfied, my dad and I thought "Let's just check out this place." We were greeted by a friendly, welcoming man named John and after we explained our situation and that I was on a budget, he was very accommodating and gave me a great discount. I never once felt pressured the way I did at other places, John was just very knowledgable and answered all our questions. He was very honest and never tried to up-sell us. Also he took away the tax and recycling fee price and set up delivery to my apartment the next day and his delivery team came prompt and were in and out in 15 minutes. My wife and I were really happy with the whole experience. First off we liked that the shop is owned and operated by a local family. The owners son - who sold us the mattress - was super personable, knowledgable, and laid back. After exploring a bunch of different options they offered us a great deal on a locally manufactured quality mattress. The delivery was on time and the delivery staff (more family members) were again super friendly and personable. I purchased a Cal King mattress from the Mattress Place and within one week it started to sag. Within four months it felt like I was sleeping in a hammock. The first problem was trying to get someone to call me back. I visited the store several times, but no one was able to help. When I finally was able to speak to the original salesman he said the best they could do was to replace the mattress with another mattress from the same manufacturer, but it would cost $250. After four months of trying to get this issue resolved I gave up and bought a mattress from Costco whose return policy is stellar. My suggestion to anyone is to steer clear of this place. I would also steer clear of the Spinal Care Mattress which is the store brand that I purchased. read more

I needed to buy a mattress for my room and actually this was the first time I needed a brand new one. I didn't have much knowledge so the sales person was extremely professional in patiently explaining the various types. After seeing them I visited sit n sleep to shop around in Orange and even though they had better deals, the professionalism really lacked and the sales lady just sarcastically answered a question and left so I went back to this store and paid 200 extra just because of the sales person. Sean was extremely helpful and knowledgeable on the products. He made in an extra call to ensure I could get it delivered in 5 days and was helpful with pricing and longevity of mattress. He gave me plenty of time to evaluate mattress on my own and just lay there and knew when to chime in with info and answer questions. Sean was so great to work with. We came in on a rainy saturday to check out their selection on mattresses. We came here first and were impressed by Sean's knowledge on mattresses. We tried a couple of different beds and decided we would check out a couple different places we had seen on yelp before deciding. We went to one other business whose prices were a little more competitive, however they didnt have bed frames just mattresses and we felt we couldnt judge how they felt on the floor. We decided to sleep on it and go back out on Sunday to see Sean again. We had one particular mattress in mind that my boyfriend and I both agreed would suit our needs, however when speaking to Sean we decided to go with a much better quality mattress that happened to be a floor model. The floor model was almost a thousand dollars cheaper than ordering a new one, and we were able to take it home with us on the spot. Sean was nice enough to help us load it on our truck and away we went. He even threw in a mattress protector free of charge. Sean is very knowledgeable and never once did i feel any sort of pressure to purchase. I would highly recommend shopping here! read more

We bought our king mattress over a year ago and it is fantastic. They have a good selection of price ranges and low sales pressure. Delivery and set up was easy. One thing to remember is you can't compare prices online or even in stores. Manufacture's make the same bed with a dozen different names on them so it's very difficult to compare like mattresses. Go with an open mind and buy in your budget. read more
