Catchy name caught my attention on the menu and realized that I'm able to consume all the listed ingredients. I love poi! Immensely grateful to my maternal tutu for having it accessible weekly at her hale during my younger years. Although the poi was on the lighter side and smoothie tasted great, I felt the mango with pineapple combo was too acidic for my tummy. Fast forward to now, I gave another chance on Acai Bowl. I kindly inquired with the employee if I'm able to replace bananas with another fruit due to my allergies. She accommodated my inquiry with a choice of either kiwi, pineapples or double the amount of apples, blueberries or strawberries at no additional charge. I'm very grateful! U cannot taste the other ingredients. Ahi is always out so cant say much for that salad. Açaí bowl sucked it was sour fruits and the açaí pretty much turned to liquid. I'm so glad I got to stop by their second location in central Oahu, which is tucked away at the very end of Kemoo Farm Wahiawa. It's bigger with more dining space and ample parking. Their menu is the same as town location, but they also offer seasonally inspired items as well with some interesting specials such as their seared ahi, which was sold out before I had the chance to taste it. They also cater to your preferences so you can tweak and customize some of the dishes! I got the farm gone wild salad with avocado and topped it off with a burger patty. It was delicious! Went here during the summer and we had an awesome experience! It was our first time there so we had so many questions. The workers patiently answered all of them and it didn't take that long for us to get our food. Speaking of the food, it was delicious! I got the Smoked Salmon and Bacon and I devoured it. Love that everything is fresh and organic! We had out of town guests that had a strict diet and this place was perfect for them. I like the fact that they offered free water--they have a water machine with small water cups near the cashiers. The restaurant is pretty small but thankfully our group of 7 was able to fit. If you know the name, you will know the menu and how good the food is. The original location which is located in Sam Sung Building on Keeaumoku is known for the flavors, the local ingredients, the home made sauces and everything that says SUPPORT LOCAL! I can't honestly say I have time to venture into town these days but its nice to know that im situate between both locations so depend on how Hawaii traffic is, its does make it convenient. Big Island Short Rib Cheese Steak Sandwich...... not on the town menu so you will have to make a short drive out towards the country. The meat is really tender with veggies and a home made spicy sauce. I actually ate it in a open face style so the sauce also went well with the bread. Coconut Water with Pineapple..... a very refreshing drink. Ironically, I was hoping for coffee since it was still before noon but the drink actually hit the spot. Farm to Table Concept is great knowing that the owners are researching and checking out the local products before putting them into your dish. Yums! I'm so stoked to find a local fresh smoothie place near my house. When we walked in, there was no line. Everything has that brand new wood smell. -Extremely quiet atmosphere. Good for studying. The prices are are comparable with other places and the portion was pretty good too. The gentleman who waited on me was very nice and understanding that I only wanted limited items on my Açaí. He didn't charge me extra for Peanut Butter as other place do even when I only want it plain. He said no problem. Then he took the time to explain my special Açaí to the young lady making it. Saw this place last week on the KITV yelp session and wanted to try it out since it was close to our neighborhood. Healthier options are always harder to find nearby, so we wanted to check it out. We ordered the Apple Pecan salad, Bacon and Smoked Salmon sandwich, Jidori Chicken sandwich, and the Acai smoothie. They were all very good. What stood out was the Acai smoothie; it was nice and thick and I liked the coconut flavor that came through. Also, I enjoyed the Smoked Salmon and Bacon sandwich. I have never had that combo before and I would order it again. The Apple Pecan salad was a nice salad, but would like to go back and try the Ahi Tuna salad and Acai bowl next! The only challenging part was the parking even though there's extra parking around the side it was pretty full. We did get lucky with one parking spot left. It was meant to be! read more

Absolutely not worth coming here and will never order here again. I could have made what I ordered 500% better with far less oil. I was so disappointed since this place has fantastic yelp reviews but now cannot understand why. My husband and I came in and took a while reviewing the menu since it was our first time. I decided on the Peterson egg sandwich and my husband got the BALT with the avocado on the side (for me) since he doesn't like avocado much. I also ordered the mango dream smoothie, and my husband wanted regular pineapple juice. The cashier politely mentioned that they did not have regular pineapple juice but offered to make one anyway. We said sure but had no idea that it was going to be $8.75 for a 16 oz. Pineapple juice. She charged it as an O.P.A. juice. So when I came up asking very nicely if I could please get a refund since I had no idea that the juice was going to cost more than their coffee ($3.95 for a 16 oz.) Or their coconut water ($2.99), the cashier informed me that all of their juices are $8.75. I told her had I known that she was going to charge us the standard price for their juice, then I would have just ordered another mango dream smoothie for 20 cents more. The cashier then said she was not sure how to do a refund since her manager was not there yet but that he would be in, hopefully, by noon. I asked her if she could just make another mango dream smoothie if he does not arrive in time to which she agreed. HOWEVER, she asked for my husband's half-drank pineapple juice back! What??? I really hope she did not actually use his juice and put it back in the blender to make the other mango dream smoothie because that is a complete HEALTH VIOLATION! Other places would have simply made another one without requesting for anything back... During our order at the register, she also asked us if we would like to have their butter potatoes instead of a side salad on our sandwiches to which we also agreed but were not aware whatsoever that it would be an extra upcharge of $2.00 for each sandwich. I attached photos to show how disappointing the potatoes were, as well as the "side" of avocado. I understand that avocado oxidizes so it is bound to turn brown but it was already brown and spotted as soon as we received our plates! I appreciate that the cashier was sweet but we are very disappointed. So much for trying this place. Spent almost $60 for nothing. The prices are outrageously high for what you really get. Upping prices just for the title of a "health" food bar is entirely unfair and simply wrong when it is paired with hidden upcharges and crappy quality of food. read more

Finally a place close to home that serves what I'm always craving!!!! I'm plant-based so it was so nice to see a menu full of options! Took mom & dad (who wanted meat) to eat here and it was spectacular. Met Joey & the gang who were so welcoming and friendly.
