This is hands down my favorite place to order Mexican food for take out . It's my comfort meal after a crazy day at work when I'm too tired to cook . I order over the phone and my food is usually ready for pick up after fifteen minutes . The green salsa really ties everything together and I always ask for it . My go to order is a torta de carne asada but today I really wanted a burrito . So happy to be enjoying this with some Netflix . The burrito is big in size, hot, and full off flavor . Wow!!!! Warm welcome into the restaurant and if you plan on dining there, just sit where you'd like to eat and they'll bring you the menus, we stood in line thinking we order then sit but the locals all knew. We wanted to try everything in the menu because we saw what people were eating and it all looked amazing! We ordered 3 tacos, chilaquiles, sopes and a Gordita. The tacos were all good but if I had to rank them I would say 1 al pastor but it has a slight kick to it, carnitas was a close second and then the carne asada. The chilaquiles were so good and my husband was happy and I was happy I didn't have to cook them lol. The sopes were good just bigger than what I'm used to so if you're use to smaller ones, don't order more than one because these are big! I ate the whole Gordita and almost forgot to breathe lol but I did order a side of refried beans and I added them to my Gordita and it was just all good!!! As a Mexican from LA, I've been searching for Mexican food all over Rhode Island and I definitely found a place worth driving over 30 minutes to. They take Apple Pay, major cards and cash. Nice little restaurant. Authentic as far as I'm concerned (which might not mean a thing). I had a Taco El Pastor and a Tostada Asada. Both delicious. I supplemented with French fries. I should have gotten another taco or tostada! Typical hot green salsa and smoky chipotle salsa in squeeze bottles. Zippy. Lovely woman served me and I assume she was the owner. I think this is the best tacos place in the moment...it is not a fancy restaurant, but the food flavor it's very authentic Mexican!

The server was not warm and welcoming at all. The steak tacos had no flavor. The steak was over cooked. They didn't have the bread for one of there dishes they offer. Place needed some cleaning. This is my favorite Mexican restaurant for take out. I come here strictly for the food, which I love for its authenticity, simplicity, and balanced flavors. Sometimes comfort is more important for me without all the fancy frills. The fautas, which come with beans and rice, are outstanding. The hubby loves their tortas, or sandwiches. Their horchata drink is satisfying. I have a bad habit of not exploring the menu once we've found items we crave, so I definitely need to be more adventurous next time. I highly recommend getting the salsa Verde, or green sauce, and adding it onto everything!! It's so good and none of the store bought salsa Verde come close to theirs. Not sure if they make it from scratch, but it tastes fresh and livens up your taste buds. Very easy access from the road and tons of parking. It is located in Central Falls, so don't expect to find a hipster scene. read more

I come here often as I live in the area. The food is good, (not astounding, but good - though it did give me a stomach ache once) - and the food can be PAINFULLY slow at times - but the main issue I have is the older woman who is the main waitress is so chronically disgruntled and unfriendly that it's offputting enough to consider not returning. It's never a friendly vibe. Customer service is not their strong point. I've eaten here with my friends often and we always tip her well. In fact, once we tipped her $10 on a $6 meal just to see if she'd actually smile or maybe even be nice to us. She perked up a little when she took it but her disposition was the same as usual when we came back later in the week. Smile. It won't kill you. I was excited to discover this place on foot after a couple places closer to me were either too busy or closed. I come to Rhode Island via Texas, southern California, and Chicago, all of which have big Mexican populations and lots of excellent Mexican food. I crave Mexican frequently, and what's on offer locally is mostly terrible. So to find this familiarly decorated spot on a desolate block was a thrill. Unfortunately the food didn't measure up. I got the mole poblano plate and an horchata. The horchata got my hopes up. It was rich and cinnamony - right on point. The food, unfortunately, did not come through for me. It was a nice piece of chicken, but the mole was totally miscalibrated. The rice and beans were meh. The corn tortillas were half chewy and half hard. The service was not too friendly but got the job done. I might come back to check out other parts of the menu, but I was a little sad to remain on the hunt for a slam-dunk Mexican place near my home. read more

I was really impressed with the super sweet waitress from the start. We ordered a pollo quesadilla, and flautas. Both were great and you can tell the tortillas are homemade and fresh! We also got a pastor taco and a carnitas taco. Loved the pastor (amazing!) but the carnitas were a little greasy. My boyfriend got the cubana torta and raved about it. I ordered el pollo Indio, everything was cooked to perfection! I loved how the pollo was spicy( chipotle sauce) it was nice and soft! The rice was good and so were the frijoles! The potato & onions were so flavorful! I originally heard about this place through my brother & his gf , he kept insisting that I come here because of the great food. So I tried it out this weekend, and my husband loved it and brought it up now, I usually don't forget to rate restaurants I'm glad my husband reminded me! I love it before this place opened I couldn't find good Mexican food in Pawtucket. I usually have the chili rellenos, the carnitas tacos or the chicken nachos all are delicious. I was unable to satisfy my burrito cravings during my pregnancy, and ever since I've been on the lookout for a good burrito in northern RI. We ordered a pollo gordita, carnitas taco, pastor burrito and mole enchiladas. The enchiladas weren't the best I've ever had, but were still pretty good.
