My husband and I came in for a weeknight dinner date. The decor was cute, aesthetic, and clean, with a clear bar-restaurant vibe. We were invited to sit at any table we liked and scan QR codes to view the menu, which was easy and convenient. Service here was truly exceptional. The staff was extremely attentive throughout our entire meal and made us feel very well taken care of. We also enjoyed the mini sauce bar, though we really wished they had black vinegar! We ordered the Satay Beef Hot Pot, Sichuan Spicy Hot Pot, and the Garlicky Enoki Mushroom Sizzler. The Satay Beef broth was too reminiscent of peanut butter for my taste and reminded me a lot of kare kare (a Filipino dish). I don't enjoy savory dishes that taste like peanut butter, so this wasn't for me--though I think I might've liked it more if it had more depth from additional spices or aromatics. The Sichuan Spicy broth was neither very spicy nor numbing, despite the name. It wasn't red, only had a few Sichuan peppers (and no peppercorns), and felt extremely mild compared to traditional Sichuan hot pot broth. The Enoki Mushroom Sizzler was bland and lacked flavor. I felt like I had to dip it into sauce just to enjoy it, so we packed it up to revive it later at home. While the service made the dinner experience pleasant, every dish we ordered lacked the punchy Asian flavors we were expecting. The flavors felt more catered to the masses rather than traditional or bold. Parking: Plenty of spaces in the strip mall where the restaurant is located.

I feel like my experience at Boiling Avenue could have been better. While the food was fairly good, I feel like the service for me was a little poor for my first time being there. During my time I felt like my food took a little longer than usual to come out, while there was no one else dining, there was also a delivery driver that was trying to get some sort of situation figured out, so that's probably why my food took a bit longer to come out. As mentioned, the food was pretty good but unfortunately I found pieces of plastic in my soup which I thought was maybe uncooked noodles/vermicelli but after leaving it in the boiling broth for a while nothing changed and it was visibly noticeable that it looked like shredded plastic.

Individual fusion hot pot at an affordable price? Nice. Even better, they offer a variety options that will satisfy a diverse group of people such as vegetarian, curry, lamb, and chicken. I opted for the Sichuan Spicy which is filled with all the typical goodies that I would gather for hot pot. The broth did not disappoint -- it didn't contain much of the usual numbing spice but still tasted great nonetheless. At ~$25 after tip, it's quite the bargain for a similar amount of food that I'd get at an all-you-can-eat location.

Came early and there was plenty of seating! Service was fast and attentive and the personal hot pot was the perfect thing on a cold day. It was a lot of food in the pot and you can ask for unlimited broth refills! The lamb lover was spicier than anticipated so be careful when ordering it.

Boiling Ave is the perfect spot during the cold/rainy season. The vibe is very casual, so I am usually show up in my comfy clothes. My go-to order is the Lobster Hot Pot. It comes with a Lobster Tail, Shrimps, Mussels, Stuffed Fishball, Lobster Fishball, Assorted Seasonal Vegetables, Vermicelli... definitely worth the price ($23.99). They have a self-serve area where you can help yourself to a variety of sauces. They also have a wide variety of beverages/drinks. I usually go for their House Flavored Soju, which you can mix and match flavors. My favorite it Passionfruit Mango. The staff are always very friendly and attentive, and the food comes out relatively quick. It's just a matter of waiting for you hot pot to cook.

Great spot to come chill & enjoy individual hot pot and small plates. Its been a minute since I've been back here but this place never disappoints. The service was quick and our server very attentive. She was always checking on our table. This place is small but has a great vibe. Casual & trendy where you can eat, drink and catch up with friends. They have happy hour every day from 3-6pm. We were able to order many shareble dishes during this time. We ordered the house special hot pot to share which includes Beef, Shrimp, Lobster Fishball, Stuffed Fishball, Spam, Imitation Crab Stick, Fried Tofu, Assorted veggies and noodles. It was flavorful and full filling. We had the kimchi fried rice which was perfectly seasoned, the braised pork with quail egg was soft and balanced with sweet and savory flavors. We also had the popcorn chicken which was crunchy and well seasoned. Corn and fries , just because! As for drinks we had the soju flights, forgot the flavors however we were told flavors are different monthly. This just want you to come back and try their other flavors. Im not a fan of sweet alcoholic drinks but doesnt hurt to try. However if you're not a soju fan, they have different types of beers and sake bomb and mocktails. My friend and I got their echigo red ale which tasted smooth, slightly dry, and has a refreshing finish. Overall, I enjoyed the food, drinks & experience here.

Great cozy spot for personal hot pot! I came here on a rainy day and it was the perfect meal. Many different options to choose from. Service was fast and the servers were super nice. Sauce bar is smaller than other places I've been to but they had the essentials. Plenty of seating while still feeling cozy. Highly recommend!

Came in on a Thursday around 6pm. We came with friends who love this place!!! And I agree!! Our waitress (I think her name was Lilly) was so nice and friendly. She even gave us a Lilly special for one of our items. Our order was a spicy Sichuan hot pot with no clams and extra spam, popcorn chicken and pepper fried tofu. This was plenty of items for the two of us. We also went for the 6 item soju flight. The hot pot was well filled and the broth was spicy but not tooo spicy. The popcorn chicken was well cooked and not greasy. The dipping sauce it came with was fantastic. The fried tofu perfectly cooked for our taste. Overall we loved this place. Service is stellar for this type of restaurant and food and drinks were great too!! This restaurant is clean and not overly crowded with too many tables. It was just right.

Pretty solid for individual hot pots in the modern style that's hit everywhere since Boiling Point hit the scene however many years ago. You cook your meat tableside as it arrives raw, so make sure you have time for leisurely lunch before heading over. Menu is pretty standard for these places, quite affordable, and the vibe is cliche but completely fitting. Parking is very decent at the tiny strip mall section they're located in, and they have a variety of tables inside for different sizes of groups.

Came here again recently, and don't plan to come back. Realized there's not much (raw) meat provided, and a lot of cabbage filling. And i've just tried other places that are better. But the broths are very good!

loveee this place! Whenever I am in the area and I am craving it, I love to get it along with their shrimp skewer. Service is great and everyone is friendly. They're all around college-aged servers so customer service never fails. It can also get busy in the place depending on the time of day. Other than that, there is music playing in the background so it's not an awkward silence

Cute little spot! The ingredients were fresh and delicious, the service was quick and friendly. I'm definitely coming back to try more things!

Small restaurant from the outside, but decent size inside. Small parking lot but we went on a weekend evening and there was only one couple there at the time so we parking, seated and served right away. Cool chill vibe inside. Menu was decent, had a few options for soups, rice bowl, appetizers and drinks. Everything we tried was really good. Hot pot was brought out on a nice serving dish where they light on fire in front of you. Only downfall is that it takes such a long time to boil before you can eat. So if youre in a hurry I wouldnt recommend the hot pot. I liked how they provode additional broth if you need more. The edamame was decent. Flavor was okay, but I wish there had been more sauce. The kimchi fried rice was good. There sauce bar was only six items so it was really small. It incurred 3 sauces, green onions, cilantro and garlic. I wasnt too impressed by it but it still helps. Probably not my favorite hotpot, but I would still go back to try other menu options. Also, I thought the staff was very nice and friendly.

New item!? Tempura shrimp curry don. SO GOOD!!!

Do the shrimps for the hotpot have the head on or off?

Head on. Legs. Shell. All that.

Do they let you swap the broth? Let's say I prefer the ingredients of house special but I would like it to be Sichuan spicy?

Yes they do swap out broths for a $2 charge

Is rice available?i like to mix rice and broth at the end of the meal.

    Yes! Rice is available!

    Are there any dipping sauces?

They have a jar at the table (sa cha/bbq sauce)and a mini sauce bar in the back with 4 options (I only remember garlic, Thai chili, and house)!

How does the curry hotpot taste like?

It's kinda on the thick side, but tasty!

While this is not traditional southern fried chicken, its a marvelous fusion of flavors on the moistest chicken breast I have had in a very long time! The flavor profile is so well executed that the various components surface to your senses on a seeming time-release so you taste them at different times during the bite, leaving you with a hint of orange lingering into the next bite. Let's just say, I will be back on a Saturday! The number of menu offerings is not extensive but, from the dishes I saw on other tables, the portions are generous and look quite appetizing.
