I can't say enough positive things about High5! We have been to birthday parties, girl scout events and gone just as a family. It is a great venue with excellent staff! We did have one bad experience with a food order - but they acknowledged their mistake and fixed the problem very quickly. Their customer service was very impressive. I also work with a local nonprofit and High5 gave us a donation for a fundraising event and even came up with other ways they could partner with our organization in the future. Big fan of High5. I end up there at least several times a month with my kids and they love to play the arcade games, bowl and play laser tag. While it is a big on the pricey side, the enjoyment inside in the summer far outweighs the price. The only downside is that the food is hit of miss for me. Sometimes it is spot on, but sometimes it's not very good. If it was just more consistent I would give it a HIGH 5! read more

Ok- let's start with the fact that High 5 is a lot of fun! There's bowling, laser tag, arcade games, and food. It is really overpriced though. For one, tickets and points in the arcade games are almost impossible to get unless you join cards with somebody. I was sort of confused as to the fact that there's no announcement to bowling upstairs. And the prices are very very high... the food pretty... okay. Overall, I'd give High Five somewhere between 2-3 stars. read more

We love the fact you have dairy free food for us to eat. I especially love the arcade! The duck game is our favorite! The bowling is fun!

I'm always pleasantly surprised. I'm a frequent customer, coming several times a week, and I always have fun. My worst experience and been with other people's children grabbing my ball (custom) and throwing it down a closed lane, but the staff was quick to educate them on bowling and the subtleties of being lane neighbors. The pizza keeps getting better each week, and the nachos have always been great. The serving staff isn't the most educated on the beer choices, but I don't think many of them are old enough to drink one yet anyway. This is one of mine and my friend's and families favorite places to spend time. I couldn't be happier it opened here. read more

Love this place. The pizza is great and the staff is really helpful! The bowling lanes are well taken care of, unlike a lot of other places in Austin. My only advice would be to then the music up downstairs so you can hear it over the bowling noise. read more

Good fun and high energy atmosphere. Bowling is great 25 an hour for everyone to play. Shoes are extra. Surprisingly the food is really good! A good place to have a private party as well. They offer a private room. You could drop a lot of money on your kids entertainment but everything is pricey these days. Give it a try! read more

Ok. So, when I first came here I thought "eh, it"ll get better". Three times later... the service here is the worst I have ever had. Lanes breaking and time lost, over expensive, loud, miscommunication, being sent up and down the stairs three times because they "thought lanes were open", and food being ordered and NEVER showing up. So now, I drive to westgate downtown where it is cheap and fun. Brooklyn Bowl in Vegas and New York is even cheaper... and that is one of the best in the world. worst experience for a new business that you would believe would have its top game on. 1 hour wait for restaurant and 2 hour wait for bowling. The bartenders appeared not to want to wait on anyone at the bar, the wait staff especially the waiter that waited on us, spoke to us twice to take our order and drop off the check, the rest of the staff had to bring us utensils, food, drinks (which we had to track down someone just to get drinks)- food was cold, under cooked and it took us almost hour and half just to get through this dinner with our family. While young kids may like this place, I believe this place does not and will not compete well with places like Top Golf and Punch Bowl because they know how to cater to the full family experience unlike this place. read more

Wow! What an opening! We had such a nice time. My son ran around like a crazed animal playing and said he couldn't decide what was better...the Laser Tag or the arcade games. Lots of opportunity for this place going forward. I can see us going as a family, or as just us two grownups in the upstairs area, as a date night. Compared to other venues, I didn't feel it was too loud or over the top. They've done a great job with the double-deck bowling, so it limited the "loud" factor to bearable. Music was present, but not overwhelming. We all commented how we could easily hear others speak, and conversation was not impossible as it usually is in a high-volume event like this. My daughter had her birthday party there a few weeks and everything was wonderful! I heard from several of her friends that this was the best party they had ever been to. The girls had a blast and the staff was great. Our party assistant was darling and a lot of help. The food was also very good. We will definitely be back! read more

Thursday night and not busy. I would dread to be there if busy. Horrible service from beginning to end. Staff needs to be trained for service industry. Too bad because venue is great. Spent ten or more minutes at downstairs bar on back side while I watched the staff talking and hanging out. As I was ignored and ignored and ignored while there was more staff than number of customers(3)I was amazed that I had to go around the bar to order a beer. It only got worse when we went upstairs. We had 12 people. ( total tab $400.+). Had to ask ask for table service at bar after 30 minutes. Bartender upstairs was sitting at bar instead if taking care of customers. This place will fail unless owner/ manager keeps an eye on lazy and untrained staff. read more

I'll give it two starts, barely. We had a group there from my wife's office. The staff were mostly friendly (the bartender being the exception per a couple of us), and responsive, so that was good. And we did not use the laser tag or arcades. The room we booked was fine. The bowling however! First, it was only available as an hourly option- so at the end of our hour, with one frame to go...tough luck- game over. And the floor- no way to slide into your shot, no spray for the shoes. If you approached the line with more than a slow walk, and tried to stop, you shoes would just stick and off you fly! One of us, on the first attempt, did a face-first flop into the floor. Perhaps the other entertainment is fine- but do not go here for the bowling- for that alone I would give it no stars- the mostly good staff bring it up to two. read more

Can't comment on service or food because we walked around for about five minutes and left because the music is so ridiculously LOUD! The clubs downtown aren't that loud. Slow waitstaff, rude counter help. I came to bowl with my eight-year-old daughter, and they would not let us bowl by the game. They would only allow me to rent a lane by the hour. When it takes that long just to get your food, it is a very frustrating experience. I do not recommend this place. It is overpriced, the waitstaff is slow, they look dirty dishes pile up on your table, and the counter staff is rude. read more

Showed up this past Saturday for my daughter's 14th birthday party only to realize I had booked it for the following month. Huge mistake on my behalf! Events coordinator Justin and and Director of Events and Sales Jennifer Stroud were able to accommodate us with no problem. They were so polite and professional and made sure everything went off without a hitch. It was exactly like we were supposed to be there that day. Great family place! Staff is very friendly and delicious food. My kids love the bowling and games.

Unlike another review I saw on here I was very happy with the prices. The staff was very accommodating of my oversized group to bowl with one more in the lane (they even let us go over our paid time to finish the game!). It ended up costing me 12$ to bowl 4 games for 2 hours and rent shoes at a brand new facility. Compared to dart bowl the prices are actually lower where that would have cost $15 for 4 games and shoes. My friends ordered food and it looked and tasted great( I snuck a few bites). Overall I was very pleased with my experience and plan on going here every time I bowl now! read more

Last night we had a company event at High5 in Lakeway. They have a wonderful conference room upstairs with all you need for projection/presentations. We received the best service from their staff(thanks Julie & Scott)! High 5 also has the ability to curtain off 4 bowling lanes so that we could have privacy with our clients at our event. Came in late night after ACL on Sunday October 9th (around 11:30) and even though they close at midnight the service and food were great. In particular the service. I used to work in restaurant management and coming in late night to an establishment often you are not made to feel welcome. It was 100% the opposite here. Wanted to like this place. Been there a few times. But the service is AWFUL!! I can't repeat it enough. Both times waited for a long time for a server to come to our table. Our kids were starving so I went to the bartender to order and complain. She kept telling us that someone would come. But nobody did. I complained to the manager later that night. He said to come the next time and let him know. The next time same bad service. I was too busy chasing kids, the waitress so didn't have time to chase the manager as well. I don't want any specials. I just want decent service! It's a shame since i would love to go back for the kids and its the closest thing they have to fun games etc. read more

Held my son's birthday party there and he's attended several others there. Laser Tag was great. The kids love the video games. Very clean. Food was ok, but to be fair we only ordered what the kids wanted. I need to try it again ordering what I'd like next time. We haven't tried bowling, but I do like the two levels and having just the adults upstairs in the evenings. Also like that you can have them set up bumpers for the kids to eliminate gutter balls. I've had the opportunity to attend two events at hi5 in the last week. The first annual New Year's eve party was a blast! At first we thought "what are we going to do here for four hours?" Five hours later we had appetizers and shots served on trays by great service people, bowled, danced to the 80s live band, ate dinner from the fabulous buffet, Played laser tag, Took photos in a photo booth, played air hockey and other games and then had a champagne toast at midnight! Highly recommend! A week later we had a small company party at the upstairs boutique bowling. We were met with the same great service and a fantastic time. read more

My wife, son and I have been to High 5 several times now and each time we have had a great time. The food is good, the bowling is awesome and there are plenty of video games for my 9 year old and his friends. We just had his birthday party there and it was perfect. They sent over two guys to help loosen up the kids and keep them engaged, which was a big help. They were great with the kids and helped take the typical pressure off of us parents. I can't say enough about how welcome High 5 is in the Lake Travis community. It's a local favorite for us! It's DEFINITELY worthwhile to bring the whole family. read more
