After being called a "disgrace" many times because I am an Oak Grove alumni & have never gone here.. I came here for the first time today & boyyy oh boyy. It was right after the gym too -___- but anyways. THEIR PIZZA WAS SOO FREAKINNN GOOOD. I loved how they don't put too much dough in their pizza so you don't get full easily & they don't really have the crust that most pizza places have. I love High Five pizza, or I use too. I phone ordered a medium pepperoni with light sauce and extra cheese. Haven't had pizza since coming to California. This place is literally half a block from my place, so stopped by for lunch. Price isn't too bad! Ordered a small pizza, half garlic chicken and half all-american. I enjoyed the Garlic Pizza more than All-American. The marinara sauce for some reason didn't compliment the toppings of the All-american. Maybe too salty or something. Garlic Pizza complimented each other more. I'm surprised I had not reviewed High Five yet, so here it is. I used to come here on a weekly basis with my buddies, but now I maybe go once a month...our lives have just gotten busier, the food remains great. I noticed one reviewer stated that it is just Round Table Pizza at a non-chain location.... this reviewer must have had some really good Round Table Pizza somewhere before. High Five is quite possibly my favorite pizza. The crust is not too thick or too thin, the sauce has not nasty aftertaste to it (like Round Table leaves in your mouth), and if you ask for extra cheese, they sure give it to you and you won't question it. They have some good beer selections and the prices on them aren't as insane as some other places... the potato skins are my favorite appetizer there. Probably my only gripe about the place is they don't have delivery service.... but I wouldn't even live in their delivery radius anyway so whatever. The location has several HD TV's to watch sporting events. Pittsburgh Steeler fans come out of hiding and basically take over the place when the Steelers games are on. Pretty good place here, but extra special during football season because this is unofficial STEELERS BAR in San Jose. The pizza itself is actually quite good, bordering on excellent. I've never had any of the other food here, so I can't comment on it. But as a pizza place, they score high in my book. There are a few shortcomings: I'm not particularly thrilled about standing in line to order my pie and then having to go up and get it when it's ready. And really, the prices don't reflect the lack of a proper wait-staff which is pretty bizarre (or ballsy, perhaps). Sundays during football season are nuts at this place. It gets crowded early and finding a table can be extremely difficult. The bar is just sort of okay. Not very big and kind of small selection on tap, but the bartenders are usually very friendly and attentive. Overall though, great pizza and a must-see for Steelers fans in the south bay. read more

High Five is a decent pizza place with a local flavor. The pizza is good, but not amazing. This would pass for ordinary pizza in many other locations than San Jose, but compared to the local competition, High Five has better pizza and an authenticity. There is a large bar with a sports theme, if you like pizza, beer and sports, this seems like a fun place. Typical pizza bar! Pizza, beer, salad bar, and a few screens for sports. The place in general is like most pizza parlors; they're not so clean and the smell reminded me of Chuck 'E Cheese. However, I'm rating particularly on the pizzas, which are delicious! We got a medium pizza, half high five and half all meat with thin crust! Yumm! The high five consists of thinly sliced sausages which were pretty darn good. The all meat speaks for itself, it's all meat, and is also good. The slices aren't cut evenly so you'll notice some really teeeeny tiny slices along with larger slices. I didn't mind, I actually enjoy eating the smaller ones while my bf ate the bigger slices. BTW, there's no free refills on soda, so think about a pitcher if you're a soda person. Good quality pizza! So, Yay! I'm a fan. read more

Swung by twice, once during lunch and pizza for take-out. The bar is always crowded, which is a good thing. I see a lot of regulars here. But beware it's VERY garlicky: it has chunks of raw garlic on it. -Hawaiian: BEST Hawaiian pizza I've ever had! Yummm -Jalapeno Poppers: Fried to perfection. The cheese inside could've been better quality though... It didn't taste like cheese... the complimentary ranch sauce goes sooooooooo well with the poppers. Overall, the pizzas are TO DIE FOR!! My friends keep telling me how good the pizza is here so I made them take us to eat. I'm so happy that I did because I found another favorite pizza spot for when I'm in San Jose! This place just made the cut! I can't wait to go back and try different pizzas. You can build your own pizza or pick from one of their specialties. I recommend the specialties if you're a rookie like I was then you can branch out and custom make a pizza. I wouldn't want you to hurt yourself on your first visit. We ordered a half pep and half cheese for the kids and then we ordered 2 specialties that were pretty loaded with meat and other toppings. Couldn't finish them so we wussed out and took the left overs home. The restaurant is clean and the service was legit. I can't wait to go back!!! I came here with some of my co-workers last week for lunch. This place has a really cool vibe, definitely a good place to hang out! They've got TVs, a bar, and plenty of alcohol and pizza. Really, what more could you ask for? I ordered a personal All American Pizza which toppings included: Pepperoni, Sausage, Ground Beef, Canadian Bacon, Salami, Mushrooms, Black Olives, Green Peppers, Onions and Linguica. YEAH ALL OF THOSE! And it was $6.50! Honestly for $6.50 I got a generously sized personal pizza stacked with toppings. I was very happy. It wasn't the absolute best pizza I've had but definitely something I would come back for in the future. The wait was about 10 minutes to get my pizza and the service was more than decent.
