This place was very nice, had great ambience, the food was very high-quality and the service was a high-quality as well. We liked the cocktails, we ordered the ribeye steak and it was perfect and we split everything and they split the plates and gave us extra portions of vegetables and potatoes without charging extra. The kale salad was very good but I would say the dressing is a little too sweet for some. A great place to dine for dinner. read more

All in all not bad. Women went to get ice cream, we went here. A cool ambience, kinda hipster/mod with a nice bar. Young lady working who was very friendly but not as knowledgeable about product as you would hope for. Small communion cup samples for the asking that were big enough to get an idea of the liquor but could have been just a little bigger to get the full experience. We tried them all: gin, aged gin, vodka, and a nice rum. We received a small sample of "Mic Painkiller " I needed it just hours before getting 6 staples on my head , the result of a bad fall. It was a nice island like drink so we ordered one , good stuff. We then ordered some bottles to take home. Somehow that order was not what we were wanting but didn't discover it till we got home. We stopped by a couple of weeks ago and had a great experience. Liz was the bartender and took excellent care of us. My wife isn't a fan of overly sweet drinks, so Liz was able to suggest which drinks would suit her, and even made a couple subtle changes to the mixes to make sure that they were suited to my wife's taste. We each got two drinks, and they were all fantastic. It was a busy day but it still felt very laid back and we were well taken care of. She even made our two kids (14 and 12) a couple of enjoyable mixes that were right up their alley (Cherry Coke and Shirley Temple). I'd highly recommend grabbing a drink and heading over a couple of blocks to the grassy area next to the old railroad tracks. It made for a great break on a beautiful afternoon. read more

They have really lost the spirit here. The new Gypsy Distillery bears no resemblance to the original. They don't even offer the same cocktails with some excuse about not having the same ingredients. The atmosphere is closer to what you'd expect at Chuck-E-Cheese's. Not that children are the problem but the lack of control and respect for the games is non-existent. Sad to witness the transformation as we've been fans from the get go. The food is a great addition but the rest is sadly lacking. Also, a couple of the bartenders are so rude, I hate to spend my money here. Can remember when tastes were what made you buy the bottles. Whereas, here they say they can't provide "because the cameras are watching". Really! I'm sure they'll do just fine with the summer crowds but they will do so without many of their original supporters! read more

High five is our go-to spot in Petosky. Amazing drinks, friendly staff and even better? They have Libe Lula serving food. Best tacos in the north, period. If you're looking for a chill spot to relax, have a great time and amazing food, this is it in northern Michigan. read more

This is the second time I've visited this location. They do have free tasting of their spirits. However, the cocktails are $$$, ranging from $10-$15. They are not weak, by any means. But I do think that's steep especially if you're wanting to enjoy the love music they often have and purchase more than one drink. They have pretty awesome decor and bartenders. read more

The owners are always around welcoming guests with open arms, big smiles and samples of their Gypsy Vodka or Petoskey Stone Gin (both are distilled right down the street). The tasting room has a custom hand-carved wood bar top (must-see), reclaimed wood-plank seating attached to a rustic brick backdrop and wall-mounted cast iron overhead ​lights (complete with Edison bulbs). Drinks are delicious. Gypsy Vodka is the real deal. No food, but you can bring in your OEM food from another establishment. Bartender Jamison was friendly and very attentive. Absolutely cleanest, nicest, most tidy and best-smelling bar bathroom I've ever visited. Roll-up windows really open the place up to Howard St so you can watch the people walk by and wish they were having a fun time here too. read more

Amazing. 10/10. First off- the ladies restroom has salts to exfoliate your hands AND Hershey kisses to snack on while doing the deed- what more can I say?! I had the best drink I have ever experienced here and I am not exaggerating- the best concoction complete with hibiscus tea ice cubes, kombucha, and vodka?! Also, it came in a pretty sweet glass. They have multiple other interesting mixtures that pleased our group of 5. Definitely a place to stop by for a good time and even better drinks. I really, really want to love their vodka because the mixed drinks are a-mazing. For real. But something in the distilled vodka gives me a throbbing headache the next day (and only after 1-2 drinks) BUT the staff is great. The mixed drinks are super yummy and now they have sliders and I can't wait to stop back in to try them as I've heard they're super yummy. read more

a very happening spot in Petoskey. This is not only a very fun spot but the drink are incredible. The spirits are by far some of the best In Michigan but their vodka is my absolute favorite. Always a good time and there staff is super friendly. I will say it can get a bit busy and the drinks are craft cocktails so they do take some time but are so worth it. read more

Went into the bar for a quick drink at 2:30 while family was shopping. I've already been waiting 10 minutes and Kellies friends came in and she instantly made their drink. I sat for another 5 minutes while she helped newer customers. She took my drink order in the first minute, I placed $12 on front of me that included a $3 to $4 tip, and she never made the drink. She eventually turned to me and asked if i was purchasing 6 bottles of liquor, which was a newer group of people. I said no, I ordered a drink. She is rude and has short term memory issues go elsewhere. Also, the manager / distiller was leaving the building he gave two bottles to some friends, and offered 6 bottles for $100 to other friends. read more

Sat down to what seemed like a wonderful spirt tasting. Tried some very derivative spirits and a vodka with more hype than flavor. The most memorable part of my first visit to this establishment was being served a dirty glass of water. It had about 10-15 fruit flies in it from the dirty glass being left out all night before someone put water in it for me to drink. Thanks for making me paranoid about water now.... read more

I LOVE High Five Spirits! My Bloody Mary was amazing & it wasn't even a Sunday! It had at least 7 big slices of salami/pepperoni, a whole mozzarella stick, olive, grape & cherry tomato! It was like an appetizer! The bartender Kelly was super sweet & we were lucky enough to meet Mike, one of the owners! Can't wait to return!
