After getting brunch next door at Call Your Mother, we had dessert at High Point Creamery. This place reminds me a lot of Salt and Straw in Portland because of their flavors. Our daughter has an egg allergy so it's great that none of their ice creams have egg, although we are also still looking out for nuts and peanuts. Mexican Hot Chocolate ice cream tasted exactly what I thought it would with notes of cinnamon. Strawberry ice cream - I'm really not into fruit-flavored ice creams, but this was good. Definitely way better than getting strawberry ice cream from a carton at a grocery store. Great service, not too busy upon opening on a weekend.

If I had room, I'd do an ice cream flight and I'm impressed that they make ice cream bombes here. I'd totally love one if we were local.

My absolute favorites were: Whisky Pistachio, Salted caramel and coconut. Basil raspberry was such an interesting flavor, vanilla one was so so. We were so full! Such yummy treat. Recommended

I really do enjoy going here for ice cream. They have a variety of different flavors, but it really does feel like an old school ice cream taste and not just random artificial flavors being put together. I really like the flavor combinations in the options they have. They even have some pint options that you can take with you to go. The service is pretty quick and you won't wait long. There are a few tables that you can sit at, but you can also take your food to go.

Really chill vibes and sweet servers make this a great summery spot destination for fun weekend memory making. But I have to note it's not an inclusive experience for those with dietary restrictions such as lupus or diabetes, which is a shame. How hard is it to add some sugar free flavors to the lineup? This is CO after all, a pretty health conscious state on the whole. Sadly half of my family can't partake, so we won't be back.

Stopped here while I was in Colorado for with some friends for a wedding. My husband and I split an ice cream flight. It was the perfect treat for a hot day out in Denver. There was plenty of street parking, tables both outside and inside to sit down at. The staff were friendly and patient, the inside was very clean, a little smaller inside but overall a nice place to go to for a treat.

I don't give many 5 star reviews but this may be the best ice cream I have had in Denver yet! The women hind the counter was very friendly and patient as we tried a few samples before deciding on the basil berry, Tin cup whiskey pistachio brittle, earl grey vanilla. By far the time cup brittle was the best and one which we will be returning for! I could have eaten a pint of it!

4.99 for a small scoop is pretty standard around Denver. You are able to taste a variety of flavors before choosing one. High Point creamery also offers shakes and bombes. They have a wide variety of flavors. I ended up getting the red velvet ice cream, which after i got it I was disappointed by the small amount of red velvet cake in the scoop. It was mostly vanilla ice cream. The staff is very friendly and helpful.

Delicious ice cream with unique flavors! We couldn't decide on what flavors to get so we ended up doing a flight which was fun. All the flavors were good. The flight came with a chocolate sauce that I did not enjoy. Not a lot of seating inside but there was a nice patio area to sit outside. Not the friendliest service but we did come 30 minutes prior to closing. Overall would definitely recommend

I had a scoop of the Apple Butter and Toast special fall flavor it was divine. It's not super sweet, which meant I could really savor the Apple butter flavor. Absolutely recommend. Love local places like this; and it's queer-friendly. ‍‍

When I decided to try this place, they were not in the past shape, with a dysfunctional cooler leaking water out the door, and apparently a reduced flavor selection from the remaining cooler as a result. Moreover, the flavors they had were not the ones I wanted off the menu. But I didn't have time to go roaming around looking for an ice cream shop in a better state of repair, so I gave them a shot. The upside was that I did get to try a vegan coconut-based flavor, which delivered the slightly burned taste of creme brûlée that it promised. I'm not a huge coconut person, but this one was better than most coconut creams I've had. The basil blackberry swirl delivered some intrigue from the clash. The other real thing I had against them was the no samples policy, which makes things a bit tough given their unconventional flavors. It was a nice upscale creamery and I liked what I got; maybe on a better day they'd get the full five stars from me.

Such fun, creative flavors! I love that they offer ice cream flights, which includes your choice of five scoops, waffle cone crisps, and one syrup (which honestly, the ice cream doesn't need!). The ice cream is wonderfully creamy and smooth, and the flavor options are fun and delicious. My favorites were the early grey & shortbread and the basil with blackberry swirl. The basil might not be for everyone (very strong basil flavor, so it can be a bit savory), but I personally really enjoyed the combo with blackberry!

I love ice cream and have been a huge fan of Little Man. I seriously thought no one could beat them. We decided to give High Point Creamery a try since we drove by Bonnie Brae and it was ridiculously busy. This spot is my new fave ice cream place! The small scoop can be a 2 flavor combo. We tried coconut ginger, earl grey with shortbread, orange chocolate marshmallow and sweet bloom coffee. Creamy and all robust in flavor and all natural... We will be back! read more

Stopped into High Point on a Thursday night at 9pm. I was immediately drawn to the menu board and the unique flavors such as Cilantro with Mandrain and Queen Bee & the Sunshine Seeds (honey & sunflower seeds). I sampled those, plus the Earl Gray, and Basil with BlackBerry that everyone talks about, and here's what I realized - ice cream preference is totally personal!! I thought that the basil with blackberry was the most blah things I'd ever had, while others raved about it. None of the specialty flavors stuck out to me, BUT...the flavors I did order were great. I got half a scoop of coffee ice cream, and honestly it's one of the best coffee ice creams I've had in Denver. Not too sweet & it tasted just as flavorful as munching on espresso beans. I also got half a scoop of whiskey pistachio praline. It was equally as delicious & totally satisfied my sweet tooth for the evening. The shop is adorable cute & has excellent outdoor seating, but another down side was that the teenage girls working seemed unable to pick up the pace even with a line of customers to the door. I would definitely give this place another go. Good ice cream, maybe just a little inconsistent. read more

High Point Creamery is awesome. First and foremost the staff here is always very friendly, which is becoming more and more sparse nowadays. They will graciously let you try as many flavors as you want. Their flavors are very creative and unique, some will come off as odd if you are used to an old fashioned creamery such as Liks, for example. This is definitely not a reincarnate of a 1970's ice cream shop but it is delicious. Get a flight and try a handful of flavors... They also offer most, if not all, of their flavors in pints. read more

We were excited that they had 4 nondairy options, much more than other ice creams places. We got the pineapple mint and mango lassi. While the flavor was good, the aftertaste was cloying from too much sugar and we were very thirsty as a result. Additionally, the people working here on Saturday night did not seem very happy to be there. They gave wan smiles and asking for a taste seemed to annoy them. I tried to be friendly with small talk, but got a blank stare in return. read more

Popped in after a delightful meal next door and though the line took awhile, it was worth it. I had a small (which comes with two small scoops - love variety!) and picked salty dog chocolate and brown butter pecan. They were both very good - super creamy and flavorful. I do agree with other people that it is pricey for what you get - my small and my husband's shake totaled $11. It is a great treat though and will come back when I'm in the area again. read more

Ok, so being next to Park Burger was a genius location choice. Because that is where my girlfriend and I went right after having a burger and fries next door. The girl behind the counter was extremely patient with me trying all these new and interesting flavors. I'd never had ice cream made from coconut milk before. So I was blown away by the "Tropical Chocolate" flavor! Great stuff! They make their waffle cones in house like they make everything else! Great service, deliciousness abounds! Apparently their flavors rotate often because they use what's in season and they try to buy local for ingredients. So no strawberry right now, because it's out of season. The prices were good. We're definitely coming back! read more

While visiting a friend for the long weekend, we stopped here after I gave her my qualifications for good ice cream--not icy, creamy, and flavor variety. She did good finding this spot. The flavors are original, tasty, creamy, and they let you sample as many as you like. We ordered the flight, which is 5 scoops of your choice along with chocolate or caramel sauce. The scoops were a nice amount and less than $10. Me likey. I don't remember all that we had, but they were all delicious. What's also cool about this place is that it's in a residential neighborhood and attached to a café and burger joint--all with modern and tasteful architecture and design. While there, most of the customers were families with small children. The workers also wear super cute headbands. Very nice vibe. I will definitely return when I'm in town next. read more

Alright, I have to call y'all out. The ice cream tastes good (though almost too creamy, in an unnatural way) and their flavor selection is creative and delicious....BUT today I noticed that carrageenan is in the ingredient list. Come on, I thought everyone knew carrageenan was whack at this point! It's cheating and my stomach can tell. Take it out please? read more

Great flavours and love the 5 ice cream flight! Pineapple mint was the best, but the earl grey shortbread and basil blackberry were lovely. I saw complaints that it wasn't sweet enough, which is why I actually like this place. Very good blends of flavours and nothing cloying. My husband and I were traveling from Los Angeles and saw a movie and had time to kill before the rockies game so we decided to look for ice cream. I found this place on yelp and we were very near by so we stopped in. I had the whiskey/pistachio brittle and vanilla bean. My husband opted for cookies and cream and the cinnamon sugar. He immediately fell in love with the cinnamon sugar and actually considered buying another scoop. The cookies and cream he said was better than average but nothing out of this world. My flavors were both very good. My only complaint is that when I was offered a sample, she gave me a bite that had the pistachio brittle in it but the scoop I was given maybe had one sliver of brittle. Therefore it made the ice cream fairly ordinary. The brittle is what really made that a special flavor. read more

YESYES YES YEEEES!!!! I'm a huge sucker for artisan ice cream and this place more then met my expectations. Everything here is made in small batch and on location. All the flavors are really strong and excellent- the mint is made with real mint leaves, same with the peppermint. They had a pumpkin pie ice cream where they made actual pumpkin pie and then mixed it into the ice cream. Seriously. This place is good in the way that you are worried about the weight you are going to gain from the frequency you want to eat it. I got the salter dark chocolate and the honey banana which worked really well together. The price was a little high but honestly it so worth it and its nice to support a place that puts so much into their craft. read more

The ice cream here isn't your usual stuff. Don't expect to find common popular flavours here. Having said that, the more exotic flavours they do have are delicious. Since this place was on Unique sweets from the food network, it was a must try! I had a earl grey tea with shortbread ice cream...so delicious and refreshing. Plus it's in such a neat eclectic area also next to Park burger. Next time I'll get the flight of ice cream to try 6 flavors:) read more

I live in the area and I'm a lover of all things ice cream seriously I'm addicted. That being said I'll say what I enjoyed first the flavors - they have some pretty unique selections on their menu. I also appreciated the creaminess and natural flavors I picked up on in my order and obvious taste, there was no question what I ordered. The portion and prices honestly they are comprable to any other creamery in the area, so no issue there two decent scoops on a cone for $4.25. Here's what I didn't appreciate and it's too bad really because this is a deal breaker for me, where I'm from SERVICE IS KING. I'm not a fan of NOT being greeted when I walk into an establishment and there's at least 4 employees behind the counter not helping customers. I also don't appreciate being skipped over when I was the only person in the establishment before a new line started to form. Truly someone should have asked me if I was being taken care of before offering service to people behind me. And for this reason I gave 3 stars credit for a decent selection but dinged on poor service. read more

To Die For!!! I am a total sweets/ice cream lover... Life would be wonderful if we could just eat ice cream! I just moved to Denver and High Point has been my favorite part, yet! I tried the chocolate orange with marshmallows and I wanted seconds and thirds!! My first visit was last Friday and I have been craving it ever since!! The staff was so nice and encouraged me to taste anything I wanted! You could absolutely tell everyone loved working at such a tasty place! Do yourself a favor and go this outstanding hidden gem!! read more

This is the best ice cream in Denver! By far. We got a flight of ice cream which allowed us to get 5 flavors and one sauce. They are distributed on a plater that has 6 different cups. We got coconut ginger, earl grey with short bread, mint chip, coffee, and butter pecan! Plus chocolate sauce! Every flavor was AMAZING! Holy cow. Best ice cream in town. And I'm a ice cream snob. Get some! read more

The best ice cream shop in town. Hands down. We've tried them all: Liks, Sweet Action, you name it. Nothing tastes as good as High Point. Unique flavors that always taste amazing. Friendly staff, and comfortable atmosphere. We're big fans of the: Earl Grey Shrtbread Corvis Coffee Salty Dog Basil Blackberry & Soft Cheese Pepper jelly. Delish! read more

I cringe as I write this, mostly because I would hate for more people to find this wonderful place. Granted CNN named it one of the best ice cream place in the US or something like that, but I want it all for me. Great flavors, mostly sublime and melow. Do not hesitate to get the ice cream flight. Before traveling to Colorado, I had been eyeing this place upon seeing social media posts, and it definitely met my expectations and beyond! Coming from California, I'm used to seeing trendy ice cream places with basic flavor a but charge extra for the presentation. This place, in addition to the cute flight presentation (which I got), has unique and DELICIOUS flavors, with my favorite being the tin whiskey! :) wish there was one closer to home! read more

First time and we went to use a Groupon. The flight it most definitely the way to go-you don't want to miss out on any flavor! We went around 7:30 on a Wednesday night, were able to find parking. The service was great-she was so nice and easily helped us choose between flavors. Great flavor options that change, we choose vanilla bean, cinnamon brown sugar, salted caramel, salty dog chocolate and blueberry lemon with the homemade caramel sauce. All fantastic! We will definitely be back, and will bring our fellow ice cream loving friends we were sending pictures to last night! read more

In the beginning there was just a girl, her ice cream maker, a husband obsessed with ice cream, and a chance to figure out what they wanted to do when they grew up. Erika Thomas and Chad Stutz are still trying to figure out the growing up process but along the way they discovered a passion for ice cream. It can be sweet, it can be savory, but it must always be delicious. The aroma of the pho broth was just as I had hoped for a busy restaurant. We waited approximately 10 min for a table. The staff were pretty efficient and looked to have a good system going for bussing tables. Hailing from CA, I am no stranger to good pho, and this place hit the spot. I'm so glad I decided to get the regular instead of the large, because wow those portion sizes were indeed huge. My husband made the "mistake" of ordering the combination vermicelli bowl, and it came packed with tender proteins and crispy egg rolls. That just meant for some delicious leftovers (that actually reheated perfectly). The pho broth was as clear as I had imagined from looking at other patrons' photos. It still had a good depth of flavor, and I thoroughly enjoyed it. It had been a long travel day for us, so I didn't want oily soup. (Sometimes I do enjoy rich, oilier pho broth, but not that night.) The pho came with a plethora of herbs, which I of course used all of. Be warned that their chili oil is very spicy, which I accidentally put too much of without first trying (oops). I generally don't go to the same spot twice during a trip, as I enjoy trying out different local businesses, but Pho 92 would have been a spot I'd return to again if we had had the time and if I had wanted pho again. Their menu is huge, so there are plenty of dishes to choose from to satisfy your cravings, whatever those might be for any given day. We will definitely be back the next time we visit CO!
