Jeff at MC Mobile was extremely responsive to my information request, and after selecting MC Mobile was extremely easy to work with end:end. Allen from MC Mobile came out to do the actual detail, and was early for the appointment and communicative through the whole experience. When I came out to see the end product, I was blown away and think the words that came out of my mouth were, "Wow, this car looks newer then when I bought it a few years ago!". I was so impressed with the experience and result that I am going to have MC Mobile come out to do monthly maintenance washes for all of my cars, and will do future details with them. Decided to check them out. Bought the Exclusive Package (4hr job) and they did not honor the promotion of detailing the engine. The exterior and interior were detailed nicely but not the engine. I also had pointed out a stain in the trunk they said they could get out and later saw that my trunk wasn't even touched. But the areas they did touch, they did a clean job. Mind you, the Exclusive Package does not include polishing... it was basically just a nice wash down with some coating. Had I paid attention, I would have gotten a polish (worth around the same price) over this Exclusive Package. Until the next review...

At no point was I given an estimate, invoice, or explanation of their hourly diagnostic rate. The issue involved an electrical problem, and Tony informed me that his top mechanic specializing in electrical work would be available that Friday, so I dropped the vehicle off that day. It was not until the following Wednesday that I received a call from Tony stating my car was ready. I took time off work to pick up the vehicle, only to find out upon arrival that it was not actually ready. I could not get a straight answer regarding the delay. The next day, Friday, I was told the vehicle was finally ready. What I find most disturbing is that I never received a phone call explaining the problem, discussing the repairs needed, or authorizing the final cost before the work was completed. After three hours of diagnostics, they concluded that I needed a new alternator. We are talking about a 1963 Chevy Impala -- not a particularly complicated vehicle. Tony simply assumed that whatever amount appeared on the final bill was my responsibility without any prior approval or communication. Ironically, Tony himself stated, "It's a very simple vehicle to work on." Based on this experience, I would never return to that shop again. I no longer trust Tony or the way this business operates.

He was professional, knowledgeable, and genuinely interested in finding a solution for me. They went above and beyond to source and install a hitch receiver that would fit my unique car and then mounted my bike rack perfectly. The bike rack I had ordered from Amazon was not of good quality. Tony is a dealer for Rocky Mounts and said "no problem" again and ordered me a rack that is so perfect for me to use easily. The level of skill, attention to detail, and customer service here is truly outstanding. Everyone is so nice. They did what no one else could--and they did it quickly and at a fair price. If you have a car that's hard to fit or need specialized work done, I absolutely recommend this place. They're problem-solvers, and they genuinely care about their customers. Lee made up for the delay in spades with the quality and care of his work on my car. A complete detail job, engine bay cleaning, along with paint protection thrown in to make up for the delay, He was able to get rid of a long scratch I got that spanned the right side of my car like it was nothing. It's the cleanest the car has looked in a long time. I've never seen my engine bay shine like it does. Worth every dollar and a repeat customer for sure. I was able to track his location on the way to me, so I knew exactly when he would be at my house. I was able to pay and add a tip using the same system, which made it so easy. My car looks so nice! I don't think her rims have ever looked so good. The interior is spotless. I do a lot of hiking and kayaking, so you can imagine the amount of sand/dirt that was in the carpets. David got it all! And this was only their standard detailing. The cherry on top is that I didn't have to go anywhere, he came to me. I received a recommendation and contacted Genesis Detailing to have the coating applied. A day later, I was contacted by the owner Nick. He advised me that there were severe hard water spots on the entire passenger side and hood of the vehicle. Nick recommended I take it back to the dealer to have the issue resolved. I returned the car to the dealer who kept it for a week. When I got the car back, the water spotting was removed and I took it back to Genesis Detailing to have the coating applied. Had they not been so detailed in the process and recognized the issue, the spotting could've been a problem after the process was completed. The team at Genesis Detailing were professional, always kept me informed in the process, and my wife and I couldn't be more happier with the results.
