Just okay bagels. Each HoB is different and I was less than impressed with the quality of the bagels overall. Got 2 veggie deluxes, which were packed and stacked high. It had a nice layer of cream cheese on both sides and quite a bit of avocado, so that was good. This place was really good at first, but the last three times I've ordered, my cream cheese has clearly had remnants of other flavors mixed into it. I don't appreciate paying for a strawberry cream cheese bagel and then tasting hints of onion in every bite. That's cross-contamination, and it's frustrating. What if someone had an allergy? I love a bagel sandwhich and I come to visit my boyfriend every now and then so when i saw that this bagel shop was nearby I said "I had to try it". The first time I ordered a lox bagel with all the sprouts and other vegetables. It was a very good bagel but 15 dollars holy crap was it a lot for what it was... it was also slightly hard to eat because the sandwhich was so huge!! like bigger than my mouth I had to stretch it so far wide. My experience with the cashier and other workers was pleasant however and I appreciate the music, whoever plays it has really good taste. The atmosphere itself is just really nice i love the decor I love the display for the bagels it's very clean I just wish that there was a few seats inside so I can sit and wait for my order. My second time coming here I ordered an egg bagel with lox shmear. Once again the workers are friendly, I love being greeted by the workers when I enter a place to shop. Located at the Serra Center, parking is no problem. The venue is tiny with probably an indoor maximum capacity of less than fifty persons. There are counter window spaces as well as some tables and chairs outdoors for eating on prem, but this place is mainly for to go orders. They keep their spot pretty clean and tidy. Below are some items that we have ordered: CALIFORNIA LOX BAGEL-WICH on EVERYTHING BAGEL - This is my go-to order. It's delish and I never stray from it. Sometimes I omit the tomato. Tip: Remind the staff to schmear both slices of your bagel or else they might forget (speaking from experience). BAJA OMELETTE BREAKFAST BAGEL - Looks yummy, but DJ said that it was bland in taste, even with A JALAPENO BAGEL. EGG SALAD BAGEL-WICH on SUN DRIED TOMATO BAGEL - Not very memorable for DJ. Z & V have enjoyed the CHEDDAR & JACK PREMIUM bagel with REGULAR SHMEAR + BACON and the HAM OMELETTE BAGEL + BACON on SOURDOUGH respectively. Both have also liked the BACON OMELETTE BREAKFAST BAGEL on ASIAGO CHEESE BAGELS. All of their shmears are made in-house. I have yet to try them. They are the first place that I have seen that offers UBE flavoured Cream Cheese. Service is fairly quick and friendly. As I mentioned before, you might need to remind the team members that schmears should go on each slice of a BAGEL-WICH or they might neglect to make sure of this. The counter service is always nice and helpful, wait for the sandwiches can take a bit since they've made up fresh. Haven't tried their breakfast bagel sandwiches yet. My favs are the LOX & CREAM CHEESE or the WHITE FISH SALAD BAGEL-WICH to eat right away. I'll take home a dozen mixed bagels and the pre-packed shmears of plain cream cheese, green scallion, and, WOWEE, UBE!!! Their CHICKEN LEMON HERB SALAD is perfection and, while under the weather one day, tried the CHICKEN VEGGIE SOUP. For whatever reason, it's hard to find a bagel in this city. Going downtown to the usual suspects is a hassle so we usually end up here when we're in the mood and don't want store bought. Since we're usually here on a weekday morning, there's usually a line but it hasn't been terribly long. We usually get a standard fare bagel (onion, everything) with plain schmear but I do love that they have bialys, which are hard to find. Both of them were good and savory! My favorite bagels were usually the ones with smoked salmon so it would be a biased opinion if I chose smoked salmon over the breakfast sandwich. However, the breakfast sandwich was quite flavorful considering I was not a huge fan of sausages in general. The place inside looked a bit dark since that area did not get much sunlight.
