I absolutely love this joint Tacos are impeccable. Drinks are amazing. And they have vegan options for your vegan buddies.

Side of Plantains with a Chicken Fajita Taco, Sweet Potato Taco (Vegan), and a Caribbean Taco

Great fast service and even more excellent food! Several options for any dietary need.

Returned to this place after some time, I should have returned sooner, the place is well lit with a nice and clean look, it's very inviting, the service is very good, our waitress was friendly and attentive, the food was even better than the last time I was here, we really enjoyed our meals. We started with a Jalapeño and a Blackberry Mint Margarita. They were good, and they were followed by some Santa Fe Empanadas and Stuffed Plantains. They were very good, the plantains surprised me, I'm not a big fan of plantains but they sure worked the way they prepared them. We ended our meals with a Caribbean and a Korean Taco, which was pretty good, and I had the Fish, Seared Tuna, and Shrimp Taco combo. It was delicious. Will definitely return more often.

This place isn't good, they are nice people and the menu looked good but the food just isn't good. The black bean soup was just beans and water and the tacos lacked flavor. The drinks were also weak but they came fast but we were the only ones there so

Ugh! I hate to have to report this. I returned with family to try the tacos! This was an utter disaster. First...the service was atrocious. The waiter and owner were engaged in conversation at the bar and it took nearly 10 minutes to come to our table. They only approached due to our waving our hands. The owner came and we asked about the 2 for 1 drinks which the owner said was good for today and included margaritas. We ordered one set (later the waiter said that it was only 2 for 1 if you ordered a food combo. We explained that was not what the owner said. The waiter left to get the owner, who he could not locate. He came to our table after a good deal of time and said he'd honor it). The food came. The cheese was wretched and sour. It smelled horrible. The smell was so vile one person in my party got visibly sick. The waiter was apologetic but we could not stay. It was a terrible experience and will be the last time I come here. Of note, we did have an appetizer (7 bean dip which was good) and the waiter did not charge us for the one drink and dip which I appreciated.

This has always been a favorite of mine and never disappoints. The food is always made fresh and the cocktails are delicious and hit the spot.

Once again high tide tacos really sealed the deal for me. The food is always a hit and the service is quick even with pickup. I was two bites into my food and just had to captivate the perfection of this taco with its perfect ratios and perfect filling. It's a 10/10 for me and you won't be dissatisfied

I'm adding this place on my list as a new spot for tacos. A friend and I went to High Tide Taco Bar on a Sunday evening to grab dinner and catch up and I have to say, I was quite satisfied. It wasn't busy so we seated rather quickly, which was good because the place isn't huge. Our waiter brought us chips and salsa for the table as we looked over the menu. So many taco options to choose from; they all sounded good. But I opted for the pulled pork, carribean (chicken) and brisket. My friend got Korean, fish, and carribean as well. I enjoyed all three, but my favorites were the pulled pork and carribean. My friend loved the Korean taco. Add some hot sauce for a bit more spice/flavor. It was the extra kick I needed, made it even better. For drinks we got margaritas. I got a berry margarita and my friend had a frozen Mango margarita. Mine was good. But there was no salt or sugar on the rim. What's a margarita without that? Anyway, it was okay but I had better. I probably should have went with a mai tai or Mojito. Either way, I'll be back for more tacos!

Is there heated outdoor seating here?

I know they have an outdoor patio in the back but it didn't look like they were using it when I was there. I would call and check first.

To eat, we split a bunch of items - I'd love to see some more vegetarian items on the menu, but the absolute must order dish is the Lemon Pesto Pasta - I was quite shocked at how flavorful it was! We also tried the Italian Nachos (minus the meat - interesting flavor profile), the Zucchini Blossoms (good but needs sauce) and the Kung Pao Pierogis which were the only things I was not a fan of - just a bit bland. Dessert was my favorite part: the Reese's Pie and Rainbow Cookie Tartufo were absolutely delicious!

Not complaining about the time because the food was delicious and very fresh so it was worth the bit of an extra wait. The interior of the restaurant is cool. Very artsy. My only complaint stems from the waitress's attitude when I asked her simple questions about the bar drinks. I asked "do you know how many oz of liquor there are in the Nutella martini" ? She rolled her eyes and answered "no" . I responded , "okay.... Can you go ask the bartender then She said "yeah", rolled her eyes again and turned around to go ask... I also asked if she had any recommendations because I was torn between all of the dessert martinis!! She said something to the effect of "Just pick one, they are all popular".... The whole interaction felt like I was inconveniencing her. Whatever. My friend and I didn't interact with her the rest of our time there. If we needed something, we asked any of the other servers walking by, who fyi were a lot sweeter. Overall, would go back to try other items since the concept is interesting. But the interaction with the cranky waitress would make me ask for another server if I end up going again.

For the most part, everyone enjoyed their dinner. The hamburgers were good. The fried pickles were good, if you like those. The Parmesan fries were also popular, but not my thing. What caught my eye was the berry goat cheese salad. Mixed greens, berries, caramel pecans, goat cheese, and their red vinaigrette was excellent. I thought I'd throw some protein on there so added the steak. The steak was not very good so I ended up eating very little of it. Not quite sure what the taste was that the steak was giving off but not something to my liking. Otherwise, this is a terrific salad. The vegetables refresh, they gave you a ton of variety of berries, and the overall size was terrific.

The place has a good amount of seating area including high tops, low booths, bar table, and a private room. There is also two unisex restrooms. I came with my boyfriend before an event at Farmingdale State College and we were on a time crunch. I made a reservation on OpenTable but it was not busy at all. We got greeted and seated immediately upon walking in. Then, a server came with ice water for the both of us before our actual waiter came to introduce herself and ask if we were ready to order. Shortly after ordering, the waitress brought us a plate of complimentary bread that comes with garlic on top and olive oil dip on bottom. We got the fried calamari which was perfectly battered (not too little nor too thick) and fried perfectly (not too burnt nor too pale). The taste was great and went well with the marinara sauce. The Clams Oreganata were delicious too - very meaty and flavorful with a nice sauce and lemon to squeeze on top. The Clams Vespa is very unique and creamy. It reminds me of a white Alfredo sauce with baked clams. They had a huge variety of drinks and it was hard for me to choose, but the lady recommended me the Sicilian Kiss which is a strawberry flavored cocktail. It is supposed to be on the sweeter side but the alcohol was strong too. As for our main entree, we got the Papperdelle Bolognese which was a veal, pork, beef ragu on ribbon pasta. Very well cooked and the taste and texture went perfectly together. We were so full, but never skip on dessert! I'm personally not a fan of cheesecake, but they have creme brulee cheesecake and rainbow cookie cheesecake which I would have loved to try if it wasn't for the cheesecake. But I was happy to find out I could order the rainbow cookie gelato that usually comes with the cheesecake. That was yummy! The texture reminded me of the cake mix Ice-Cream from Carvel and the flavor is not too strong. Overall, great vibes and service. Will definitely be back to the the pizza and other pastas.
