Unfortunately, I felt compelled to deduct two stars for a couple of reasons. First, the team did not clean what they considered "cluttered" areas. In practice, this meant that surfaces such as my bathroom counter and office desk were skipped entirely. I understand not moving or organizing personal belongings, but there were crumbs and visible spots that we had to clean ourselves before guests arrived the following day. Additionally, things like trash bins and appliances were left out of place, as if the team left in a hurry. Ultimately, I did not feel I received the full value of the service. Second, while avoiding those "cluttered" surfaces, the team nevertheless moved several art prints and canvases that I had set aside for framing. They placed a heavy plastic office chair mat directly on top of them, leaving several pieces crumpled. Fortunately, I was able to flatten most of the wrinkles, but I was surprised by the lack of care shown toward personal items. To the company's credit, Ellen promptly offered a discount on a future cleaning with a different team, which I genuinely appreciated. Ellen also offered to have a team return and address the remaining areas, but we had already taken care of it ourselves. Given this experience, I don't think we'll be using the company again, sadly.
