Unfortunately, my experience was very disappointing. During the cleanings, the staff used harsh cleaning chemicals on my marble floors that were not appropriate for natural stone. As a result, my marble floors sustained significant damage. The cost to repair the damage was $1,690. I obtained multiple estimates, and this amount was reasonable--in fact, another repair estimate was significantly higher. They were also observed using a bucket of water and a wet mop to clean my hardwood floors. They have refused to compensate me as I did not give them notice within 24 hours. Given the damage caused and the quality of the service, I would like to pursue a small claims against the company. I believe they have blocked my phone number, and unfortunately, they have no visible address so I have been unable to give them proper service. Stop hiding and allow my day in court!

I don't think our carpets have smelled this fresh in years. Because of that--and because the company took my concerns seriously afterward--I awarded Spotless Clean SD three stars. Unfortunately, I felt compelled to deduct two stars for a couple of reasons. First, the team did not clean what they considered "cluttered" areas. In practice, this meant that surfaces such as my bathroom counter and office desk were skipped entirely. I understand not moving or organizing personal belongings, but there were crumbs and visible spots that we had to clean ourselves before guests arrived the following day. Additionally, things like trash bins and appliances were left out of place, as if the team left in a hurry. Ultimately, I did not feel I received the full value of the service. Second, while avoiding those "cluttered" surfaces, the team nevertheless moved several art prints and canvases that I had set aside for framing. They placed a heavy plastic office chair mat directly on top of them, leaving several pieces crumpled. Fortunately, I was able to flatten most of the wrinkles, but I was surprised by the lack of care shown toward personal items. To the company's credit, Ellen promptly offered a discount on a future cleaning with a different team, which I genuinely appreciated. Ellen also offered to have a team return and address the remaining areas, but we had already taken care of it ourselves. Given this experience, I don't think we'll be using the company again, sadly.

I hired Ace of Maids for a move-out/move-in cleaning service on the scope of work they advertised…read morefor a 640 sq ft. 1 bedroom, vacant condo. Unfortunately, the service did not meet my expectations, and several items were either incomplete or not addressed. Some of the issues I found included: - The entire oven was not cleaned. After the service, I was told they only clean the bottom of the oven (not top) and do not clean the racks, but this was never communicated beforehand. - The toilet had a sanitized sticker wrapped around it but upon opening, black grim was in the toilet bowl (the paper in toilet in image is from sanitation note). - The oven handle appears to have been damaged or stained by the cleaner used on the interior of the oven. - Areas left unattended and dust clearly on the surfaces were the top of the bedroom mirror, the ceiling fan blades and motor housing, baseboards, top of bathroom cabinet, and the upper shelves in the walk-in closet. - Laundry closet floor corners and between machine and wall were not cleaned. - Dust and cobwebs remained on the kitchen ceiling (~8ft high). - Buildup on the bathtub hardware was not removed. I expected the company to address these concerns when I brought them to their attention. I called and was asked to send photos, which I did promptly. Since then, I have received no response despite following up, and my calls now appear to go directly to voicemail. I also asked to be notified in advance of them completing the service so we could complete a walkthrough before they left. They did not and said the lost track of time and had to leave. They did lock up. There does seem to be another company of the same name with better reviews and have staff of the same name. That was confusing and hopefully Yelp can address that. I really did not want to leave this review. I prefer giving a business the opportunity to make things right before posting publicly. Unfortunately, after attempting to resolve these issues directly and being ignored, this is where things stand and I cannot recommend this company. I hope this review informs others and helps them to avoid this company.
