Overall, I think there are better sushi options around OKC. The sushi rice on my rolls was gummy and squishy. The salmon on my nigiri and 9-ball roll was fresh. The eel roll had way too much rice compared to the center. Service was slow, but polite. I asked for extra ginger and it took my server two trips back to my table to remember. Edamame was good! Came for jazz night and it did not disappoint! The restaurant itself is beautiful -- sleek, modern, and a perfect vibe for the live music. We sat at the bar and had super quick service the whole night. Tried a few happy hour bites: lumpia, potstickers, and chicken wings -- all phenomenal. Seriously, each one hit the spot. Came back hoping for the same experience as last time. Nope. Quality is not as great. Also, I got the same bowl as last time and this time I was charged $2 extra. Server was excellent. Chefs were not too happy I requested the tuna that was in my bowl the last time I was there. Not very kind. They are different chefs. Ambiance wise. Great new sushi restaurant where Yuzo used to be. I am not sure if they rebranded but the menu is quite similar to Yuzo (which we missed and loved). Delicious appetizers. Their pan-fried gyoza was surprisingly amazing. The sushi rolls were fresh and flavorful. Great cocktails. Solid Highballs. Good table service. Everyone has their sushi spot, and now that this place is open, we will be frequent diners here. They have our support. read more

I heard great things about this restaurant so I was really excited to try it out. The rumors were true! It's a fantastic place! We had the edamame, salmon ceviche, salmon avocado roll, and the 9-ball roll. All was exceptional (the salmon ceviche was my favorite!) and the waitress was great and even offered to help with some seltzer water when I clumsily spilled soy sauce on my shirt. The music and vibes were great as well, which I appreciate. I'll 100% be back and highly recommend. read more

I legitimately created a Yelp account just to leave a review on this restaurant. Me and my girlfriend were craving ramen and all the nearby restaurants had long waiting times. We decided to come here since we were a short drive away and it just so happens that when I parked my car I noticed the battery gauge mark a dead battery, to our luck one of the cooks at the restaurant, Dennis who happened to be outside at the moment noticed our predicament and offered to help us. We were already planning on eating there but having the staff be so caring about us really cemented the fact that the people who run this place really care about their staff and their customers. The owner was so attentive and made it a point to ask if we needed help with our car. To top it all off the ramen was also amazing, we've only had the tonkatsu and spicy miso ramens so far but they were spectacular. I'm extremely grateful to the staff and also very satisfied with the food we ate. read more

The inside still looks the same as when this location used to be Yuzo. Both servers were kind although during the second half of our meal it took a bit for them to come around and check up on us again. The food for the most part was delicious except for the pork being a bit dry/chewy. What was really disappointing was the fact that they don't have free refills on the soft drinks (that's not listed on the menu) plus when they explained they said it was $2 for a can of soda but the weird thing is that the drink didn't come in a can, it came in a glass and it tasted like fountain soda not soda from a can. read more

Overall, a poor experience. Our waitress was very nice, but otherwise the service ran extremely slow for drinks, water, and food. The wines have no information other than the type. The only decent items were the eel nigiri and cali roll. The spicy edamame was oily and mushy. The salmon nigiri smelled fishy and was 75% fat, which we all know is alarming. I sent that back and they comped the item. The tartar was flavorless and anemic, no one touched it after a tiny trial bite. The other rolls were bland, poorly constructed, and overall just not a great experience. No one felt great after the meal or this morning, so do with that you will. read more

This place has excellent sushi as well as fried rice, and additional menu items like Filipino dishes (adobo bowls), ramen and extended sushi choices. It is also where Yuzo Tapas used to be, so the space is relatively large/spacious with many tables. I was talking to one of the managers, Amber, about holding events there and also Cade, the sushi chef, recognized me from sparring with him at Western Avenue Boxing Gym awhile back. Also a culinary version from Chef Panda. Service from the waitress also attentive and prompt. Highly recommended, check it out! read more

Wait staff was very friendly and patient with all my questions. This more upscale sushi restaurant has a lot of modern character. Definitely a date night place but reasonably priced. Only opened since September I'm sure it will gather quite a following. The new owner is Pilipino thus the lumpia dog app is spot on. Very fine wrapping, full of minced pork, carrots and cabbage. The dipping sauce was a delicious blend of soy and chili oil topped with cilantro. Oh my. However, the ramen was fairly bland, but a little garlic chili sauce fixed. The pork was very good along with the buttery corn. They are changing their hot tea which the waiter warned us about. He was right. I would rate the app a 4.5, ramen a 3, service 4 and ambience a five, so the average is closer to a 4. We hope to be back to try the sushi. read more

My explanation for the lack of photos on my review is that I didn't think I'd need to leave a review. Because.. great sushi at a fair price with a great happy hour? Wouldn't this place have a line around the block?! Apparently not! As we sat in the enticing aroma of our tonkatsu ramen, we noticed the place wasn't as full as we expected. My husband is Chinese and well versed in the seafood of south east Asia, together we have lived 5+ major cities in the U.S., and this place swept us off our feet. Staff were friendly, ambiance was beautiful, and if it's not obvious by now, the food was outstanding! We got 3 different sushi rolls, all evidentially fresh, prepared with care, including house special rolls with flavor profiles that were very well balanced. The ramen was the perfect balance and fat and acid. The whole meal together felt like a hug. (Their wide selection of sake also helps). All in all, I can't believe I've lived here for nearly a year and no one has mentioned this place. I don't think it should be gatekept, PLEASE go try it!!! read more
