Littt le to no service or assistance despite my spending a small fortune there. I was told to "go look at what we have" Had to sort through a yard of about 50 tubs. Found the two I wanted and then was told that a shower bath combo was "sold to someone else already" even though there were about 20 of them out there. I comprimised after having driven all the way there, and purchased two tubs showers and multiple plumbing supplies. Was then offered no assistance in loading them or instructions on what works for packing them. They then fell off the truck on I 84. part o that was my fault, but only one small part of the shower fell off and broke. I went back to buy that part, but was told that I had to buy the entire shower again. There was no remorse for having no one to assist me in loading, or to tell me the best way to pack them on a trailer. Partly my fault, but the lack of customer service or concern seemed horrible to me. I had to buy the entire shower again, they gave it to me at cost. If I didn't have a whole day into it 7 plus hours, and a plumber waiting for the install, I would have brought everything back. No respect or service from this store, I'll never go back.

In…read moreAugust they installed a quartz countertop for us, and were punctual and accommodating with our tight timeline. We chose to go with them again for a backsplash installation with glass tiles. The second time around, however, communication was poor and the job shoddy. The backsplash installation was not satisfactory. In fact, it was almost like dealing with a completely different company. Overall the work looks good, but on closer inspection there are rough edges, cracked tiles, torn paper backing and a section of missed grout. There were glass shards left all over my patio where the installer was cutting. The major problem, however, is with the switch plates for the outlets. None are particularly well done, but one is shockingly bad. We had discussed lining up the edge of the tile with the edge of the cabinet - I assumed he would cut around the switch plate which fell right down the middle of that line. Instead, the installer chose to cut a bit to make room for the receptacles, but then screw the plate back on so that the plate is at an angle with a large gap. He advised me to find a product that would fit under the plate and bring it level with the tile and then modify it myself to fit it. I gave him the benefit of the doubt and searched futilely around at hardware stores for such a thing. Every single person at the stores, and several contractors I showed the pictures to either laughed or were shocked that he left it that way. I contacted the owner and was told that they don't cut around switch plates because it looks terrible... presumably more terrible than putting the plate back on (with wood screws where retaining screws should go) at an angle with a quarter inch gap. They offered to help us find an item to level the plate with the tile, but that is not an acceptable solution. I have had to make an appointment with another contractor to fix their mess at the expense of my time and money.

A couple weeks turned into over a month because life happens and I recently sent him an email asking him if he was still interested or what happened or if he had anything for me from our meeting I don't know what happened but communication went to nothing and I feel like I was ghosted after our first meeting, which sucks because I was really excited with all the ideas that he had given me for a remodel of my kitchen that is not incredibly user-friendly at the moment.

The project was fraught with challenges that resulted in a formal Breach of Contract Complaint to be filed with the Oregon CCB (CCB Dispute# 218936-102) which then led to a subsequent lawsuit (Clackamas County Case No. 20CV25698). This lawsuit has just recently been resolved to our satisfaction. The last 3 years have provided many challenges, none of which we would wish on anyone else. Diamond Dogs is such a special place. It was the go-to for my Golden Retriever, Drevans, who required weekly bathing with medicated shampoo for his skin allergies. He would RUN to the door he loved Diamond Dogs so much. My new dog is a Great Pyrenees that is skitterish from living on the streets and hurts himself if crated. He needs patience and special attention. All three of the groomers have worked with him so that he is now relaxed and calm while being groomed. Like I said, AMAZING!
