    Margherita Pizza-do not order
    Caroline J.

Ambiance: 4/5- They stick with their theme of Highway with license plates and road signs throughout the walls of the restaurant. Even in the bathroom they have a gasoline pump for the sink! Food: 2/5- On Saturday's they have $2 off slices so we tried a total of 5 slices. The Margherita slice was so soggy overloaded with tomato sauce and then the mozzarella pieces were not even melted. Worst slice I have had. So much sauce I had to use a fork and knife. The route 60 slice was okay. Not much flavor. The supreme wasn't bad either, and the meat lover was also okay. The dill pickle slice was good. Service: 2/5- Our service was not good. Our waitress did not come to check on us and it took a long time for our food to come where a table who ordered 6 different meals just a few minutes before is, had basically finished their meals when we finally got our food. The pizza is not that great especially for the price and size you receive. Plenty of other slice laces in Williamsburg with better slices

    Side Salad - Caprese

Highway Pizza is a fun and relaxed pizza joint in Williamsburg. The decor is cool with a highway theme featuring road signs, cars, and truck parts. Be sure to check out the restrooms for their creative wash stations and unique trash cans. Now to the food. We ordered the caprese side salad, which came in a cute small bowl consisting of mozzarella balls, cherry tomatoes, and lettuce with ranch dressing. It was refreshing, though next time I'll ask if they have a balsamic vinaigrette dressing. We tried three pizzas, starting with the The Nacho Mama. We ordered a single $5 slice to share to taste. It had tortilla chips on top and was tangy. Then we got two large pizzas--one was the vegetable with fresh toppings. We especially enjoyed the juicy roma tomatoes on top. The crust was thin with a golden finish. Everyone enjoyed the veggie pizza. The final pizza was the cheesesteak pizza with garlic white sauce. This one was not a favorite of the table as demonstrated by so many pieces left uneaten. Service is friendly and cheerful. We happened to be there on a trivia night. They also have karaoke nights. These folks embrace having a good time!

No Alfredo and definitely no extra cheese!

Sooo unimpressed!! Ordered pizzas both with extra cheese and pepperoni one WHOLE pizza and only got it on half and neither had extra cheese. One of the pizzas was also supposed to have Alfredo and it didn't have that either. I do not recommend this place at all! Worst pizza I've ever had. I had it delivered and live 30 minutes away which is the only reason I did take it back.

The pizza is really great. The order was ready on time and accurate. The folks were all very friendly. However... Got home and realized that they had forgotten part of the order. They didn't answer the phone, called twice, left a message. Nobody called back. Finally stopped in three days later to ask for a refund and the bartender seemed utterly clueless about how to resolve the issue. Still very friendly, but really clueless. He ended up giving me a used gift card which had $2.21 more on it than my missing item. Cool... but not professional. The food was delicious. But the experience was... not great.

Great pizza and speed bumps! Wonderful service

Took my kids on a pizza date and this place is the perfect atmosphere. The turkey pepperoni pizza and speed bumps are legit!

We decided to give this place a try on a whim while driving to the outlet mall. We were originally going to Domoishi, but Highway Pizza looked really cool and their custom delivery cars really caught our eyes! There were so many tasty looking appetizers to try on the menu, but we decided to save that for next time as this was just a small lunch meant to keep us from starving while shopping. The thing that stood out the most to me about the pizza was the crust- it was soft and crispy all at the same time-absolutely delicious!

Cute decor, great music, and a decent menu. The garlic Parmesan cheese curds are enough to bring me back! Also tasty were the Mac n cheese bits and cheesesteak "Bump in the Road", cheesesteak rolled in dough and back with cheese. Yummy! Can't wait to try the other three meats in them. The only negatives were the pricing and that the kids pizza didn't have red sauce in it, but rather on the side in a ramekin.

This is a new place here in Williamsburg, VA next to the premium outlets. Our bartender who was also the manager named Madison provided great outstanding service. They have the standard beers along with draft beer from the local Breweries. Our drinks came fast and were super cold. As far as food, we had a margarita pizza with a side order of mixed wings. Sweet hot and citrus chipotle. Pizza was well made and flavorful. Weren't cheap with the toppings, no soggy dough and not messy. The wings were well cooked, meaty and the sauces were on point. All the food was well priced. With the pizza, wings and 4 big beers, I wound up paying about $50. This is on par with the Average price for any similar meal at an any similar establishment in the Williamsburg area. If anything, cheaper especially given the quality of food and service. Wife and I will definitely be giving this place a 2nd go. I'm looking forward to the birthday shots!!

Loved it!! Great pizza and fast service! The beer cheese was great for dipping crust. The restaurant was clean and so was the outdoor seating area. All the street signs are fun and add to the highway feel.

(March 2026) During…read moreour Historic Triangle visit, my wife and I stopped here for dinner. It was close to our hotel, and we didn't want to drive far. Holly was our server and she took good care of us. She had several recommendations from the menu. From that, I was sold on the wings, and got the 8-piece ($13.50) with garlic Parmesan sauce. My wife got the chicken quesadillas ($8.29). Everything was excellent, except the upcharge for using a credit card to pay. Finally, I want to add that I loved the local (i.e. not where all the tourists go) neighborhood vibe with lots of sports memorabilia.

This was our first time at the Sportsman Grille. Four of us went specifically for burgers, and oh…read moreboy what a burger! In addition to an 8 oz. patty, the buns are soft, they don't overwhelm the burger, and they hold together. Love that! You can build your own burger or choose from their selections, which include blue cheese burger, a burger topped with North Carolina BBQ, the Bourbon one with an onion ring, bacon, and cheese, and a grilled cheese with a burger. Plus there are a few more. Quite the variety! They also come with a side. The burgers were good--not overly seasoned. The Tuesday night we went, the place was packed by 5 pm. They had two birthday parties happening. Service was really friendly and helpful, though a little slow, probably due to the number of customers. It took 30 minutes for our burgers to arrive. I don't know if they take reservations, but we walked in and were seated right away. Parking is free and right out front. They have several TVs on the walks so you can watch your favorite sport.

I really tried to give this spot a chance…read more Overall, the hotel is great. The harvest Café is very reasonable. The pitchers sports bar is just disappointing on all fronts. On our first night, a Friday night, we arrived at the hotel with 45 minutes until the bar closed. Getting drinks was difficult, but it was near the end of the shift and, so I didn't think much of it. Luckily we had brought a few beverages with us and we went to our rooms and had a few drinks after 11 PM. As a sidenote, 11 PM is an oddly early time to close a hotel bar. On the second night, we arrived almost 2 hours before bar/kitchen close to have dinner and drinks. Nothing went well. Our server would disappear for extended periods of time... Presumably to bus food from the very distant kitchen to the bar. If the bartenders are going to double as Servers/bussers, then they should have more than two working a busy Saturday night. Eventually, a manager showed up to help for a few minutes, but he quickly left again. I had to actively flag down the other bartender to assist us at one point when our bartender was gone for an extended period of time. Even that took more effort than it should. If you only have two bartenders, and you know you're going to each be gone for long periods of time, then you should cover each other and check in on other guests. On top of that, our food took way too long to come out. We didn't get anything complicated, and the place was not that busy. The kitchen is clearly just slow. Eventually, our food arrived. It was decently prepared overall, but our friend ordered the beyond burger and made it clear that she was vegan and did not want cheese or dairy or mayonnaise. Despite this arrived with mayonnaise on it so she had to eat it with half the bun removed. The bartender eventually noticed, but at that point we were starving and she was already eating it so his kind offered to have them remake it didn't really help. The most concerning aspect was what happened to me the next day. I got the Caesar salad with the crabcake added. It had clearly gone bad. I had diarrhea for 36 hours afterwards. The only thing I had eaten earlier in the day was food at Busch Gardens, that I shared with others. No one else got sick so it had to be the crabcake. I guess it could've been the Caesar dressing, but that was for sure out of a bottle and less likely to be the source. And either case food poisoning During the drive on Sunday was not fun. I was still dealing with it by Monday morning as well. The only reason I'm giving two stars is because the bartender was nice despite being overwhelmed, and he took 20% off of our bill because of the mistake made and the long wait. Eat somewhere else if you have any choice. The only reason to eat here is if Everything else has closed or you're just too tired to leave the hotel.

Now, I must say, the french fries are great!!! Theyre spirally and fresh tasting. I wasn't a fan of anything else. The "soft" pretzels were hard as all get out to the point it hurt my teeth to bite into them. Shame too because the flavor of them were good. Drinks were really good too, and the bartenders are willing to make any drink you ask. The best part of the meal... Our waiter, PEYTON! He is Truly remarkable, appreciative, down to earth, willing to help, and friendly. He even joked along with us. :) One of the BEST waiters I have ever met! Thank you, Peyton! The only reason for the 4 stars and not 5 is because of the food.
