My sister ordered the BLT with cheddar potato soup and really enjoyed both. I went with the pot roast & cheese sandwich and an Asian-style fried chicken salad. The sandwich was excellent. Tender, moist pot roast piled generously on crunchy, buttery grilled bread with plenty of melted cheese. Definitely comfort food done right. The salad was surprisingly good too, topped with crispy onions and a peanut-style dressing that added great flavor and texture. Of course, we couldn't skip the famous Bob Evans biscuits, which were warm, buttery, and slightly crisp on the outside. We also tried the new Cowboy Fries topped with gravy and cheese, which honestly reminded me of poutine and were delicious. Before leaving, we grabbed a full-size pot roast soup to-go for $7.99 along with extra biscuits, which made for an easy heat-and-serve dinner later. Service was quick, we were seated immediately, and there's plenty of parking. The location is convenient, close to I-75, gas stations, and coffee shops. My wife and I stopped in while we were waiting for our RV to be serviced up in Birch run. Though a physically smaller Bob Evans and we've been in recent, the restaurant was clean and well kept! Our server did a great job keeping our coffee and waters full! Thank you my wife had her usual rise and shine dish while I tried their breakfast sandwich platter. For a place thats all about farmers, they don't have a farmer's omelette on the menu. I ordered the rio grande omelette and they didnt have all the ingredients so I switched to the western omelette. I got rye toast which turned out to be blocks of grain flavored saw dust. $50 for 2 ppl for below average food is ridiculous. read more

Went on a Sunday morning and were seated immediately. Server was attentive and the food was great. Sweet tea was subpar, second one was (hopefully) not even sweet... but northerners can't be expected to make good sweet tea. I would definitely recommend the strawberry banana oatmeal read more

Don't waste your hard earned money eating here. What you see in the menu is NOT what you get. Food was mostly burnt and very little of it. I have never seen a two scramble eggs so small. The hash browns were so burnt you couldn't eat them. And about the size of a 2 inch circle. McDonald's would of been a better meal . My fiancée ordered a dinner entree and they have no business making anything except breakfast, the server was not even professional, since she had to run back and forth so much to replace our food she made it known she wasn't happy about it by acting annoyed and when we got the kitchen manager to come speak with us, he said my fiancée didn't need to be such an a*****e, we reported this to the supervisor and was later sent a gift card for all our trouble, but honestly I don't think that was enough! It used to be reliable stop for a quick breakfast, like their omelettes and pancakes, but they have dropped their game a bit. The service is horrible here. They go through wait staff like crazy, from what I've seen. My wife and I were ordering breakfast and one of the cooks got into a big argument with another employee in the kitchen and the manager and one of the servers. We heard it through the restaurant and it drifted to our table. He walked out or was fired. The food came in stages, hers never coming at all. The waitress tried giving excuses, but kept changing her story. We told her that we heard everything. She didn't offer to talk to the manager, have us order something else or reduce the bill. We had to ask. Eventually, the manager came over, apologized, but disputed what she said. Again, we told the manager we heard the argument. The manager offered to have something else cooked quickly for my wife and discounted the bill a little bit. All I can say is, my breakfast was just okay, but hers took forever and it was not great. I'd like to say this was the only occasion these kind of garbage happened, but it isn't. Another time, the cook went outside for a smoke break, left the food on the grill way too long and the food was burnt and we sent it back. Nice job. Disappointing meal yesterday. Requested the banana bread, two eggs over medium, hash browns cooked crisp with onions, and bacon very soft. The banana bread arrived cold, the accompanying "butter" wasn't butter. The eggs were overcooked. The hash browns weren't crisp and the bacon certainly wasn't soft. Great soup and salad combos for lunch. Kids eat free on Tuesday's so we took my nieces there for Tuesday dinner. Our waitress was friendly and prompt. This Bob Evans use to be really good but its went down over the past few years. Today we witnessed tereible etiquette and workers goofing around. Raven and Maleo ( maybe Marlo black skinny guy ) fooling around, throwing food, on their cell phones and swearing. Two people actually left and we almost left if it wasnt for the awesome manager Amy O. That was working. She calmed us down, talked to us and made it right. She has her handa full with these kids that are working here. She worked the floor, greeted people and did a lot of things the lazy wait stafff is suppose to do. Amy O. This Miller Road location is THE slowest place! After 16 minutes of no waitress yet ahe passed numerous times and looked away. I finally asked WHEN will someone wait on us and she said she would be right back. Went to the pickup window and began chatting with 4 other co-workers. When we got up to put on our coats, She said "you are leaving?". They were taking orders from a table of 12 and many others after us. The Hill Road location in Grand Blanc is well managed and cleaner but this Flint Location has gotten horrific over the last year!!! Never will we return!!! read more

My husband and kids (22 months and almost 4) stopped in for brunch on our travels through the US. We were so pleased with our service and food. Asia was our waitress and she was absolutely lovely, fast and considerate of the kids. She checked in often and the manager did as well. My wife and I like the food and tell everyone that Bob Evans is our favorite restaurant but they are going though a lot of changes and they are not as good anymore. In particular, the service at this store poor. We were seated quickly, our drinks served quickly and then we were forgotten. Our waiter was joking around with his follow workers and the group seemed to be happy and have a lot of friendly comradery. There was plenty of help as it wasn't very busy. I think they were just into themselves and didn't really care about the customers. After about 20 minutes I told one of the staff that we would liked to have ordered but we had waited long enough and we left. As I understand it, Bob Evans restaurants are all corporate owned. There is no franchise and therefore no owner operator who really cares about the customer. Well, we got waited on fairly fast after telling the hostess that last time we walked out after 20 minutes of being ignored. But... after we ordered, we waited more than a half hour for our food to arrive. They only had five tables full of people. When the waitress finally came back to our table after 25 minutes, I asked when our meal would be ready. She told me they were making " new" vegetable soup. The green beans were so salty and bad tasting that they were inedible. You are supposed to receive unlimited bread with the meal. I did not receive my bread until I was walking out the door. Well after so many attempts and saying oh they are having a bad day well I was wrong the employees are rude the management in this restaurant is poor and the service is terrible. I walked into this restaurant on 9/7/2016 with my grandchildren and keep in mind there wasn't ten people eating in this place. I ordered one order of pancakes to share for the little ones and me a meal.(and it wasn't a steak) We got our drinks and now we are still sitting literally 35 minutes later and NO Cole slaw, Biscuits or even Pancakes. While I am watching the few others around me complaining as well to each other food orders were just sitting up there getting cold and ours after another five minutes still not even there I got up walked to the front of the restaurant and told them this is the worse place I've ever been in and would never be back and walked out.
