I hired them to remove and demo an old concrete patio in my backyard which turned out to be a bigger job than either of us expected. It ended up being reinforced with concrete debris and bricks underneath the slabs. He honored his original quote and when it was discovered that an area of concrete needed to be cut due to the way it was connected to the slab we wanted to keep, he gave a fair price for it. On top of that, there was an area of the slab we were keeping that had a crack near where they had to demo and they incidentally cracked the piece off completely. They repaired the entire piece that was cracked to begin with at no charge. I am very impressed with the professionalism of Oscar and his crew. My experience with Hillside Pavers was outstanding. From the beginning, Oscar was very responsive and professional. I requested an estimate through yelp and Oscar contacted me right away. He came to our home, talked to my husband and I about our project, suggested ideas and emailed us a reasonable estimate right away within two days. After reviewing all of our bids, we decided to go with Hillside. Oscar revised our estimate a handful of times to make sure all of our changes were incorporated. He responded to all my texts/emails promptly and sent me the revised estimates shortly after. I really liked the pdf program he used to provide us with the estimates which was also used to provide us with online receipts on our progress payments. Once we were ready to begin with our project, Oscar gave us a start date. A week before our date, he called us to let us know he could begin a couple of days earlier which impressed us. His crew came to the house on the first day early in the morning as promised and worked the full day. At the end they cleaned up and every day after that was the same. The crew was respectful and would communicate with us if they had questions. Oscar came over periodically to manage our questions and needs. I found Hillside Pavers through Home Advisor. I wanted to have the concrete patio (it was more like a slab) removed from my back yard. Oscar contacted me on a Tuesday, and he came the next day to provide an estimate. The project was scheduled and completed by Friday. Breaking up and removing 510 sq.ft. of concrete is hard work, but the crew got it done in one day. They covered the windows and doors with plastic to protect them from dust and any debris. They were very polite and didn't seem to mind me occasionally coming out asking questions or taking pictures. I haven't decided what to replace the slab with, but I will definitely contact Oscar and Hillside Pavers when I do. read more

I wish I could give Hillside Pavers more than 5 starts because I definitely would! Oscar and his team paved my entire backyard. From the first day they came to give an estimate to the last day of work, they were always on time, professional, and worked in a super clean way. They worked with us and kept us in the loop from the beginning. Oscar even helped me pick out the pavers by bringing by samples, sending me different pictures of finalized projects etc. The finalized product is perfect! Everything is perfectly aligned, level, etc., and it looks amazing. What is even more, a few months after they were finished, our sprinkler pipe burst and some of the pipe was under the edge of the pavers. After contacting Oscar, he sent some of his team out the next day to remove the pavers from that area so that we could fix the pipe and then reset the pavers back in...and he never charged me for it!!! They went above and beyond what they had to in order to make sure we were happy.
