I acknowledge that our heating system is complex. Over time, we have paid thousands of dollars to…read moreMill Creek in attempts to manage and repair the system. Last week, when the system was not functioning, two technicians came out and worked on the issue. They were professional and courteous, and we appreciated their efforts. However, the next morning the same problem occurred, and the house was again without heat. When I called to report the issue, my first call was routed to an answering service and I did not receive a return call. I called again and reached someone at the business. When I explained that the system was still not working and the person responsible for paying the bills was understandably upset, the woman who answered responded by saying, " That doesn't matter to me." I found this response dismissive and completely inappropriate, particularly given the amount of money we have spent with your company and the urgency of the heating issue. As a result of both the unresoved issues and this interaction, we will not be using Mill Creek again, nor recommending your services to others.

Every person that I have interacted with at Mill Creek has been incredible. From the estimator to…read morethe front desk to the installation team, all fantastic. I had a 40-year-old furnace in my house and I wanted to upgrade to have AC. Justin walked me through every possible option that I had and explained the differences between the options (including long-term, and short-term savings). They were able to look up any discounts and rebate programs with my electric and gas company and apply those. I never felt pressured to buy anything or to pick one option over the other. I ended up replacing the entire unit and opting for a heat pump. I have a family member that does HVAC in another state, and I asked him to review my estimates to make sure I wasn't being overcharged or ripped off. He said that all of the estimates were priced right where they should be and there wasn't anything I was being offered that I didn't need. I'm very happy with Mill Creek. 10/10.

They do not honor their work warranty. They came out to my house which had a clogged sewer drain…read more I told them clearly where I suspect the clog was. The decided to clear out a different part of the line such that water was barely flowing. Upon having to come out the second time (6 days later) when the house was backed up again, they found where the real issue was - exactly where I said it would be. They didn't have the right camera equipment to diagnose the issue and took the easiest approach to maximize their hourly rate. Their initial receipt said "30 day warranty" on the work. However, they charged full price to come out the second time. $550 for the first time, $750 for the second visit when he *actually* fixed the problem by popping the toilet. They should have either done the job correctly the first time, or honored their work warranty (which included diagnosing where an issue is) and reduced how much the second charge was. Just expect that they will do poor work the first time they come out to get your system in minimum working order just so they can bang you again shortly after. I would hire a different plumber that knows how to do the job correctly.
