Very thankful for the great service here. Our tire sensor was jumping around and we happened to pull off to check out the tire at their exit. They checked out tire pressure which was a bit down on all our tires but nothing to set off the sensor. They filled up the tires for free and sent us on our way. Letting us know that is could be a faulty sensor but that we would be safe to drive back home. read more

Their Service Manager, Jeramy is not about customer service and making a mistake his Service Advisor made right. Constructive criticism is typically welcomed in the customer facing industry, but not with Jeramy. His quick resolution was asking us to not come back as I spoke up and he didn't like it. He felt his team rolled out the red carpet. Not the red carpet I want to be the part of. As a family who has only owned Fords, only takes them to the Ford Dealership for service - we will take Jeramy's advice and find a new Ford Dealership to support. Maybe having your son in law run your Service Department isn't a good idea Hillyer Family. I'm sure your competitors will gladly take our money and provide us with an amazing experience for our next Ford purchase. Advice: Drive up the road - north, south, east or west and I assure you you will be valued as you should be. Hillyer's won't. Dropped my Ford F550 to get door fixed. Replaced door latch didn't work then dug deeper and found kinked cable, that was the problem. Not the latch that they charged $900. Make things worse truck had $11,000.00 in tools stolen while at there dealership. Manager said it's like leaving your truck to go shopping at Walmart and coming back to items being stolen. Think it's a little different. Truck getting fixed on there watch. All I know it was an inside job. Zero stars if I could. read more

After buying a 2017 Ford Edge from Wilsonville Nissan the check engine light came on. I took the vehicle to this dealership. By the afternoon I was called by Alex service advisor. He stated to me the mandatory federal recalls were not completed by Nissan. Alex had them repaired that day. The bad news he gave me was the engine needed to be replaced. He worked so great with me keeping me informed of what was going on. He did great work with the warranty company to get the repairs authorized. Alex was able to get me into a dealer loaner vehicle. It was estimated three to four weeks for the full repair. I was back in my car within about two weeks. I highly recommend this dealership for service. Alex was very informative about the whole process and future needs of service with the vehicle. read more

After my 2018 F-150 was losing coolant and overheating, I made a appointment with Hillyer's ford. After the inspection they stated They ran a pressure test and couldn't find the leak. Added coolant marked the reservoir with a sharpie and sent me on my way. The advisor said if it breaks down over over heats have it towed, you have a warranty so don't worry. After a week the reservoir is almost dry again. Called to make a appointment only to be told they can only do what they previously did. Leaving a 1 star review on google the service manager calls me. Not to resolve the issue but to agree I need to find a new dealer to repair my truck. All the work they have done in the past was excellent so this is shocking. Not a very good way to take care of someone's truck. read more

Ask for Daisy in sales and Rudy in finance! Honestly one of the better buying experiences I've ever had - Purchasing a new or used car from any dealer is a roll of the dice in terms of how you'll be treated. Having purchased numerous vehicles in my lifetime (over 50... I have a car problem!) with roughly half being purchased from a dealer, I've got experienced the worst and some of the best. This was easily in my top three (3). Why? I'm an extremely meticulous buyer so I demand a lot from a seller when it comes to transparency and disclosure. I always ask, before I'll make any trip to see something in person, about the detailed condition of the vehicle. I want to know about any and all blemishes, not because I plan to use it as a bargaining chip necessarily, but because I want to know what to expect. Typically, this request is met with either resistance, asking me to just come see it, or a lethargic response giving me little to no context. Not with Daisy! She did a full photo and video walk around, pointing out the smallest blemishes that I honestly may not have even noticed... She also patiently, thoroughly and promptly answered every single question I asked. And there were many! When I had a question about an extended warranty, in lieu of giving me a vague response and/or estimated cost, she had her finance manager, Rudy, contact me directly. And he was also extremely thorough and kind. Finally, when we went down to see and buy the Jeep (200 miles away) Daisy was waiting for me when I arrived and knew who I was before I ever said hi because of my Washington plates. She was busy delivering a truck to someone else but made it a point to get me to the Jeep so my wife and I could check it out... Where was it? Inside, in the wash bay because it had just been cleaned inside and out and was waiting for us out of the rain so we could see it's condition clearly. This was my request and they obliged, no problem. She gave us the keys and said to check it out, take it for a spin and she'd be done when we got back. The Jeep was perfect, just as she'd described and we were good to go. What's even more impressive?? We were then in Rudy's office signing papers (paid cash so a little faster) and out the door, on the road in about 30 minutes! Is your mind blown? Ours was!! So, while I can't speak for the dealership as a whole, I can speak for a couple of their people - If you're interested in a new or used vehicle at this store, ask to work with Daisy. Then, when it's time to do the paperwork, request to sit with Rudy. You won't be disappointed! read more

I went down there this past weekend to look at a Mustang they had on their web site. The person I spoke to on the phone (Daisy) was busy when I got there so George took over. We went out to see the car. While looking at it he mentioned they had another one that was also available in a different color. I wasn't sure which color I preferred so George offered to put the two next to each other so I could get a better look. George went off to have the sales manager work out the numbers. When he came back I countered. Unfortunately they wouldn't budget, which was okay because their original offer was quite fair. George said he noticed that it looked like my license plates had just been renewed (the previous week actually) and that I could save about $300 in DMV fees if they just transferred them to the Mustang. I was happy he noticed that and made the offer. When I met with the finance guy he went over the remaining factory warranty and asked if I was interested in extended. I said "no thanks" and he immediately dropped it, no hard-sell or push at all. Overall it was a very smooth, low pressure experience. read more

I came here 1 year ago to look at getting a new truck, for them to run my credit 10 times dropping it 100 points and I didn't even get the truck nor did they tell me how many times they ran my credit. Well, 1 year later I decide to give them a second chance because they had a truck I wanted, make an apt for 3:30 and get there right on time and the truck isn't even there. Let alone I live 1.5 hours away from this dealership. The manager took it to Woodburn for a boat show without checking with the salesmen. I spent 2 hours talking prices and trade in and DIDNT EVEN SEE THE TRUCK for them to low ball me tremendously on my trade in and not even apologize for the credit mishap last year. I will NEVER be coming back here no matter what awesome trucks they have, and I don't recommend it to anyone to say the least. read more

My car was in for a routine service and this dealership decided it would be a good idea to place their license plate covers on both the front and back of my vehicle. This was done without my permission, my authorization or my knowledge. When I recognized I was being a rolling advertisement for this dealership, I emailed the owner, Leo Hillyers, the service manager as well as the service personnel who scheduled my maintenance work. Instead of doing the right thing and taking these license plate covers off as I have requested, they have choosen to ignore my request. I would not recommend this dealership at all. If they replace the license plate covers at their discretion when I'm not looking, imagine what else they may be doing to your vehicle when you leave it in their shop ! read more

We've purchased plenty of new to us and used cars in the last 20 years from private sellers as well as dealerships and this has been the most hassle and disappointing experience. They didn't do their due diligence in making sure everything in the car worked properly. The rear seat wouldn't flip forward, the CD player doesn't work and the front passenger seat broke a month after purchase. They fixed one of those issues but wouldn't fix the other two. It's also been 2 months and we still don't have our plates. Initial interaction was good but it's been nothing but downhill from there. I tried the Keizer Ford dealership and the first words out of their mouth were "it'll be $110 to LOOK at it." Seriously!? The door wouldn't even close and I was sent packing. Off to Hillyer I went. I bought a pre owned car here at wished I had not. A 1987 Mercury Marquis with only 30K miles. Seemed like an OK deal. I did not argue with the price and they did work with me on delivering it from Oregon to St. Louis. Overall, the car arrived in good aesthetic condition, as pictured. However, it did not pass inspection due to emissions. It needed a new muffler and when the muffler came off the tail pipe needed to be replaced. I was assured by Ken in Pre Owned Sales that they go over their cars VERY thoroughly. My long time mechanic assured me it would have been an easy catch and should not have been sold. I contacted Ken who told me to contact the dealership manager Bill Gallagher who surprisingly does not return calls. The salesman Ken said the air conditioning worked. it does not and cannot. It needed to be converted from the old system. Also the title that they sent me was not completed properly and I had to return it via UPS and then have them send it back wasting my time in the DMV. This dealership does not know how to sell cars or take care of their customers. I contacted Leo & Brandon Hillyer and they did not contact me back. Great way to treat a veteran. Here is exactly what you need to know about how Hillyer's Mid City Ford values its potential customers and its community: they own an empty field next to their dealership, where we parked an sat, along with about a hundred other families, to watch the solar eclipse. Just before the eclipse began, the owner sent around some employees to collect $5 from every person who had a car parked on the premises. They called the police and threatened families with towing if they did not have the cash to pay (we didn't have cash, and offered to pay with a card, but the owner refused). I am not arguing that Hillyer's wasn't well within their rights to request that people leave their property. I am arguing that the owner had an opportunity to show kindness and goodwill to the community--to potential customers--and instead chose to be a money-grubbing, greedy-hearted Scrooge. This is the poorest possible advertisement for Hillyer's, for Ford, and for Woodburn. (Meanwhile, across the road, Starbucks was raking in the profits while it opened its patio to happy eclipse-watchers. Starbucks, you rule. Hillyer's, you failed spectacularly.) read more
